“Kelly and her family were so kind and welcoming for taking care of Theo. She was super flexible with multiple timing requests and made the whole experience really easy. Theo clearly loved his time with Kelly's family and pups and even tried running with her! Theo's already excited about another stay with Kelly in the future.”

“Leslie cared for our pup for a week and it went great! We were super happy with her and our dog really liked her as well. We recommend Leslie and would definitely ask her to watch our dog again!”

“Took incredible care of our elderly pooch. Provided updates with pictures. Went on adventures and loved it! Even provided extra care and comfort when our pup needed some extra help getting settled at night. Would highly recommend.”

“Liz was wonderful! Drop-off and pick-up were both a breeze. She took such good care of our 10 yr old lab, sending daily updates and photos on walks and relaxing. We couldn’t recommend Liz more highly! Thank you!”

“Beth and her daughters did a great job sitting for our 2 dogs. Beth stayed at the house for a week, and not only gave the pups lots of time, love and attention, but she left the place spotless (she also fed my daughter's bird)! She sent us photos every day and gave us ample updates, so communication was a breeze. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.”

“Heather was wonderful! She did a great job taking care of my dog while I was out of town. It was my first time leaving her overnight, so it was important to me that I found a good home for her to stay at. Heather sent me photos and videos of Rory playing and gave me updates while I was away. She even included a cute report card, note, and photo of Rory to take home!”

About: Hi my name is Jaycee I am a mom to 4 grown daughters and have had pets my whole life. I know it can be hard to find a trusted pet sitter but I am here to give you peace of mind. I am extremely reliable, responsible and easy to get along with. Watching your pet is my only job. Contact me if you have any questions. I am active and I don’t work so I have lots of time to offer to your pets. I am available 7 days a week. When caring for pets in my home, I love to have the pet feel like nothing has changed! If the dog loves to sleep in the bed, I am all for it! I like to keep the animal’s routine in place while the owners are away, I love to send photos and take cute pictures. Most of my time is spent at home so your dog will never be lonely.
“Elizabeth was fantastic. She's a great communicator, asked all the important questions about caring for our pet, was a great listener ... I could go on and on! We hired her last minute for a family holiday and she was exceptional. We felt confident in our pets' care, safety, and enjoyment! We will absolutely be reaching out to Elizabeth again. Lovely apartment, lovely person, clearly loves animals! She even got our normally-brushing-avoidant husky to snuggle up and enjoy some brushing - this was certainly a pleasant surprise!! 10/10!”

“Anne was great with our dog Kala! We even had to drop her off and pick her up rather late, and Anne was kind enough to accommodate our schedule. Anne has a very dog friendly set up, and Kala didn’t want to leave.”

“Sandra is my dog's best friend (besides me!) and he absolutely LOVES staying at her place. I never have to worry when he is with her because I know he is in the best possible hands. Sandra is everything you want in a sitter / person - friendly, warm, genuine, attentive, thoughtful ,the list goes on. She's the best and I am so happy we found her.”
About: Hi, I'm Angey. I've always had so much love for animals, they really do make the world a better place! I have a wide range of experience with mostly dogs & cats. All ranging from different breeds, ages, sizes and energy levels. I grew up with a neighbor who breeded great danes and started helping her from age 10-13. Watching puppies outgrow me got me very comfortable with large dogs early on and understand them better too. On the flip side, I have taken care of an 8lb senior malti poo from 15-18 that needed a lot of nurturing and special care. From cooking her fresh food, adding skin supplements to skin salve, she was a new pup with a better quality of life! So I enjoy being thorough and conscientious in my day to day life. You can always expect cute photos, videos and updates while in my care. --Looking forward to meeting your pet😊 I'm doing pet care full-time along with my cleaning business. So I have availability throughout the entire week everyday and a lot of flexibility! House sitting is preferred so your pets can stay in the comfortability of their own home. I like keeping up with the routines they already have to make them feel at ease. I do Board small to medium size pups, I live close to the park and lots of places to potty. I will give them lots of love and play time!
“James was AMAZING! I felt so comfortable and safe leaving my best friend with him! Not only did it seem like he truly enjoyed taking care of animals but was also knowledgeable and experienced. If I am ever near Dana Point again, I’d used James in a heart beat!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals starting in middle school. Friends and neighbors have always trusted me to walk, feed, and watch over their animals when they weren’t available. I’m currently a college student home for the summer so I’ll have plenty of time and energy to spend with your dogs, cats, and anything in between. I have a fenced yard with a loving and playful Labrador of my own. I am also more than willing to crate your dog if need be.
“Jessica and Mitchell took outstanding care of our 3 year old lab! They made great effort to expend her energy with walks and play time, and treated her like one of their own. They are so kind, and great with updates to keep us posted on how our pup was doing throughout the stay. They went above and beyond with being flexible with extending my booking when my travel plans changed. 10/10 and will be using them again for future stays!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 10 and I’ve been kahu to two dogs in my adult life. I follow Cesar Milan’s calm-assertive pack mentality. Exercise, discipline, affection, in that order. I am an editor for a digital media company and I work from home. I normally take 60 to 120 minute walks with my own dog and would welcome any other dogs that need a good long walk around the hilly area of San Clemente. I have a very spacious and minimalist apartment that faces nature with no direct Neighbor. I live directly in front of my communities dog playground, so I’m able to take dogs on frequent ball breaks and potty breaks I have a very nice sturdy kennel that has wood accents and is very comforting to a crate train dog Short hair dogs are welcome on my furniture. It’s a very nature Forward apartment complex that is dog friendly and if your dog boards with me overnight, sleeping is quiet, smoke-free, and kid free.
“Kelleen is wonderful to work with and very responsible. She sent multiple pictures and videos of our dogs to make sure we are comfortable and updated on day 1. Her kids were also great with our dogs which allow us to sleep well when we were away. We would use her again.”

About: I adore cats (and all their quirkiness) but can’t have them in the home due to my girlfriend’s allergies. I grew up with cats and miss having them around. They’re just cool animals! My current pup is actually very cat-like and I LOVE that about her. I’ve done plenty of cat sitting over the years (including two very playful and active Maine Coons) and would love to get my feline fix by taking care of your precious kitties!

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and have loved every bit of them. I care currently for my ragdoll cat Juni, she’s two years old and is the sleepiest kitty you’ll ever meet. I have also pet sat cats for about 10 years of my life on and off and have always delivered excellent care to provide the most peace to the parents of the cats!

“Our cat is so happy to be visited by Leah that he barely even misses us! She gives him plenty of belly rubs & attention and sends us such cute pictures that we don't even feel guilty leaving him.”

“Angey was amazing! My cat took a liking to her immediately and she cared for her greatly while I was away. Angey also took care of my tortoises while I was gone and shared she had a tortoise previously. :) highly recommend Angey!!!”

“Hannah was extremely attentive when taking care of my cats. She played with them and took great care of them. One of my cats over grooms and she contacted my emergency contact when she felt he needed care. I felt my cats were extremely well taken care of and loved. I would book her again 100%. Thank you so much!”

“I was able to completely enjoy my vacation knowing that my cats were in Cornelia’s care. She checked in with me often and sent me photos of my happy kitties. I 100% recommend her!”
“Kyle is great! He seems to really like my cat (I don’t care if he actually does, he fakes it well enough) and always includes little updates of how my little pal is doing.”

“Michelle was great! Super open to coming and picking up my key and meeting my little one before I left. I loved seeing the report cards everyday with pictures to let me know Luna was happy and healthy. Can’t wait to have her back again for another visit!”

About: I grew up around cats and love how every one has their own unique personality. I also volunteered in the cat room at my local animal shelter, so I've had experience with many different cats, including those that are shy around strangers or become stressed in new situations. I'm comfortable cleaning litter boxes, playing with toys to keep them stimulated, or just enjoying each other's company while we do our own thing. For their safety, I personally prefer to treat all cats as indoor cats unless you specifically tell me otherwise. Because I know how much we miss our pets when we're apart, I'm happy to send lots of photo updates so you can see what they're up to. I look forward to meeting you and your cat!

I am currently going to school online at Humboldt State so my availability is very flexible. I am readily available for drop-ins, house-sitting and walks! “Absolutely AMAZING sitter. She kept me posted with pictures and videos through out the day without even asking. She has two total sweetheart angel pups that kept him company and active while I was stuck working. 100% our new go to for the terrible days we can't be together. His second day there he just walked right into the house without even saying bye to me, got a photo no more than 15 minutes later with him sprawled out on the floor, snug as a bug. Thank you Anne, you are wonderful!”

“We felt super comfortable leaving our dog with Jaycee. She was warm and friendly and took great care of him. It was so convenient to drop our dog with a responsible and helpful person. So thankful to her for the excellent service and flexibility!”

“Jessica is absolutely wonderful. She and Mitch had my pup over for a Meet and Greet to make sure it would be a good fit. Today was his first day, and Jessica updated me with photos as well as a playful video during the day. Peanut had a fabulous time and was very happy and also tired by the time I picked him up. We look forward to seeing Jessica, her family and her pups again soon!”

“Diana and Emily watched our dogs, Yoshi and Stitch, for an all-day doggy daycare while we went to the zoo. Diana and Emily were flexible, communicative, and our dogs had a great time. We had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Diana and Emily to anyone looking for sitters that will care for your dogs the way you do.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs (including my own) since I was 10 years old, and I love animals more than anything - I have always felt a strong conviction that animals are God's gift to us, and they need just as much love that they give to us. I am currently working remotely in the San Clemente area, so I am very flexible with house-sitting, dog-sitting, etc in the Southern Orange county area. I love to do everything pertaining to how the dog owner / house owner has a routine. If things like to be done a certain way by a dog owner / house owner, I am always happy to go along with their exact rules.

About: I understand I'm new to Rover and I appreciate your interest and earning your trust as I care for your pet and build a relationship with you and your family. I've been in love with animals for as long as I can remember. From childhood through adulthood, I've rescued, cared for, and loved animals of all kinds, whether they're furry or feathered! Last year, our family said goodbye to our sweet Miniature Pinscher, River Girl, who blessed us with 18 wonderful years. She wasn't just a pet—she was family and brought us endless joy. Losing her left a space in my heart that I hope to fill by helping other families give their own beloved pets the same love, patience, and attention she always received. I understand that every animal has a unique personality. Some are energetic and playful, while others are shy, anxious, or even a little grumpy—and I genuinely enjoy earning their trust. I'm patient, compassionate, and experienced in administering medications, caring for senior pets, and making sure every animal feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. When your pet is in my care, I treat them as if they were my own. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is receiving the same kindness, attention, and affection they would receive at home. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule because it's something I genuinely enjoy doing. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care, whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, medication, or simply some extra companionship while you're away. I believe every pet deserves individualized attention, so I never rush my visits. I'll make sure your furry or feathered family member receives the love, care, and attention they deserve, while also keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision because they're truly part of the family. My goal is to provide a safe, peaceful, and loving home where your pet feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you're away. I live in a clean, smoke-free, single-family home with a fully fenced, secure backyard where dogs can safely explore and play under my supervision. I also have beautiful walking trails nearby for dogs who enjoy getting out for exercise and fresh air. To ensure every pet receives plenty of individual attention, I prefer to care for one family's pets at a time whenever possible. I'm attentive to every pet's unique routine and personality, whether they need medication, extra exercise, quiet companionship, or lots of cuddles. I'll treat your furry family member as if they were my own and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay, so you can relax knowing they're safe, happy, and in loving hands.

“Meghan was so wonderful! I have a super shy/anxious pup and she was so gentle with her and knew exactly how to make Mazzi comfortable. She sent me really sweet updates with pictures and a video, and even though I wasn't sure Mazzi would go on a walk, she was able to make it happen! I will definitely be using Meghan in the future :)”

About: Animals and I have been drawn to each other since I was young. I started caring for them when I was 10, but I always had a love and pull toward them. I've been the go-to person for friends, family, neighbors, and all pet owners to care for all their pet's needs (& wants). I'm a full animal lover who feels in tune to adapt to each animal and understand its unique communication and cues. I've been the person again & again where pet parents say, "Oh, they really like you," "They rarely act this welcoming," or "Wow, they feel comfortable with you!" No one knows a pet like their parent -- so I feel honored each time I get one of these comments! My Pet Sitting Style: First is first, I would love to have a quick call to see if we are a pet-sitting match. And after, meet you and your pet in person before anything else. For coming into a pet's home without its owner, I want to ensure they will be comfortable with me while you are gone. I work remotely, so I can stay with your pet at your home as long as I have Wi-Fi access! I will nurture, feed, play, and care for all your pets needs. And above all, I promise to treat your pets with the same love I would give my own. My work time is split between being behind the computer and in-person meetings, interviews, etc. So while I work from the computer, I can keep your pet company, take breaks to give care and ensure their needs will be met with my priorities. But, I also might be taken for a few hours or more at a time but would be coming back home to your pet/s. When first getting to your home, I will enter just me (without any bags) to ensure your pet is comfortable and secure. I will adapt to the cues they give me, If they want to be left alone, played with, or cuddled! I will take in all care instructions you have given me and make sure your pet is as safe and looked after as possible.

We are a loving home that will strive to meet your pets specific needs. I believe in routine, and will do my best to ensure that while your pet stays with us, they know what to expect and when.

“James was AMAZING! I felt so comfortable and safe leaving my best friend with him! Not only did it seem like he truly enjoyed taking care of animals but was also knowledgeable and experienced. If I am ever near Dana Point again, I’d used James in a heart beat!”

About: Apart from always caring for my own dogs, I have loved walking my old neighbors pups as well. I am average build but strong for my size so I can handle the tugs from the bigger dogs like husky’s. I have an almost 3 month old who I stay home with so I am available for around the clock care for pups, children, or any elders who need assistance. Me and my baby would love to have your fur baby join our walks and play time! When boarding at my home, all we ask is to please bring your pup washed, thank you! p.s. tips are never expected but alwaysss appreciated;) I am a stay at home mom to a very chill and quiet baby. Our days consist of his nap times, sitting on our enclosed balcony, and going on long walks. We live in a condo with a balcony that has no escape route, and a medium size patio/backyard. It does not have grass but we have a 47x32in. artificial grass mat for potty breaks. The condo has stairs as well.
“Thanks, Mariia, and your husband for taking care of my dog. Char feels so happy! I really appreciate that you sent pictures and videos to me every day. We'll definitely bring our dog to your home next time.”

About: We know how important it is to be able to leave your four-legged family member in a place you can trust when you travel. And sometimes board and care facilities are stressful on your pet. Our home might be the perfect fit. We are structured, animal centered- and a lot of safety, calm and fun. We used to have 3 big dogs (Malinois, Dutch Shepherd and Mcnab Lab) but my daughter moved with her dog and our other 2shepherds passed away of old age. So now we have Toby our little dog. :) To get our dog fix we dog sit usually Fri-Sundays. My husband and I work full-time M-F. That's why we prefer Fri-Sundays. If it fits for us and your dog we can keep your dog during the week. We are gone from the house- 8am to 4:30 pm. They get a good long walk at 6:00 AM. Your dog would join my husband and I on various morning walk locations each morning with our dog Toby and then we will walk them around 5 pm each evening after they eat-usually at a local park. We have a very structured routine :) The animals stay inside our home all day. I do not leave them outside alone. I can crate train if necessary. Your dog MUST be cat friendly. I have dog friendly cats-though they hide at first :) We are super structured with a very predictable routine. We are home on the weekends and take the animals on outings- Lowes, out to breakfast/dinner, different places. Your dog is safe with us !
About: Not only have I had dogs my entire life but I have worked with a trainer in the past and I worked at Pets on Broadway for several years. This experience has given me vast knowledge about nutrition, pet products, and basic training. I recently moved back to the area and have yet to land another job, so I am back to Rover. My schedule is pretty flexible. I do have a partner with two kiddos so after school I will either go over there for a few hours or they will be around. Weekends they will definitely be around. The kiddos are 6 and 9 This will depend from client to client due to the fact it will not be in my space. I will follow guidelines and wishes expressed by each client.
