We used to have a dog of our own, and we really miss that joyful, loving energy in our home — so welcoming your pup into our lives feels natural for all of us. I work from home, which means your dog gets lots of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. Most days they’re simply hanging out with us, following the family rhythm, getting cuddles, or coming along for walks. My boys are 9 and 12, and they’re wonderful with dogs — gentle, respectful, and old enough to understand boundaries. Many pet parents appreciate that we’re past the toddler stage and have a calm, dog-savvy household. We’re an active, playful San Clemente family with so much love and energy to share. We also have a sweet, 15-year-old cat who was raised with a dog and is very comfortable with respectful pups. I keep a clean, safe environment and follow your instructions closely when it comes to food, exercise, crate time, or special needs. I limit the number of pets I take at once to ensure each one gets plenty of one-on-one time and care. No matter the setting, I treat every pet like they’re part of the family—with patience, love, and attention to detail.

About: We're recent empty nesters looking to share our love with a furry friend. Our family dog passed away recently, leaving a real hole in our hearts, and with our kids off at college, my husband and I miss having that companionship at home. I've cared for animals my whole life, most recently our family Maltipoo, who was with us for eight years. She needed a bit of extra care along the way — including knee surgery on both rear legs for a luxating patella, and extra attention after she went blind in her final year. That experience taught me a lot about patience and hands-on care, and I'd welcome a dog who needs some extra love, whether or not they come with special needs. I work from home, so your dog would never be left alone for long stretches — I have plenty of time for walks, play, and simply being present. Being we live in an area with coyotes and other wild animals, I would never leave your dog outside alone and would always have them with me on a leash including at the local park. With no kids, I will make sure there is nothing they can get into or find to chew on in the home.

About: I have cared for pets since I was a young child. My life wouldn’t be complete without them. I’ve owned, fostered, and now sit for all kinds of pets. We have a room set aside for acclimating them, and a large fenced backyard for them to wander around. I care for your pets as though they were my own. While being a stay at home with my two littles, I have lots of time to play, watch, walk, and more. We are always happy to share our home or let your family run around the fenced in backyard. We have a small kitten that is half in and half outside so we can always accommodate. There is a great walking path for us or running around in the backyard.
