About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life and have over 31 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I've raised puppies, cared for adult and senior dogs, and understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I'm dependable, patient, and attentive, and I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your beloved companion. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or extra care, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a very flexible schedule and can provide care throughout the day and evening. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship, and I'm also available for overnight house sitting in your home. I'll make sure your pets receive dependable, loving care and plenty of attention while you're away, keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I do my best to keep their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I'll follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions carefully, give them plenty of love, attention, playtime, and companionship, and make sure they have fresh water and a clean environment. I also respect my clients' homes, keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as I found it.
About: My experience includes puppies, 'good old dogs' and everything in between. Wiley, an expat from Tijuana, is our namesake (Wiley Wags) and the best sidekick. He's a three-year-old, 15 lbs mixed breed that loves to play with other dogs and is dousel with children. I enjoy lovin' on him and every dog in my care. I'm a stay-at-home mama, but my babes attend school, so I have plenty of time to care for your pup(s). While your fur baby/babies are in my care, I will be home with them aside from an occasional quick errand. My availability is very open and includes most holidays. Wiley Wags is located 20 minutes north of Legoland, west of the 5 and blocks to the beach. Your pet will enjoy ocean breezes during neighborhood walks. Keeping your furry friend safe and content are my top priorities while they stay with our family. Wiley is a great companion dog. We fall in love with all our four-legged friends at Wiley Wags.
“Zsana is amazing and we are so grateful to have found her! She was wonderfully flexible and accommodating, working around our changing travel schedule. She truly goes above and beyond — giving the best care and attention to our dogs. We feel so lucky to have someone this trustworthy and kind looking after them while we were away. Can’t thank her enough and will absolutely be booking again!””

“Savannah is a 10/10. Very professional and communicated frequently through the visits. My dog loved her and was provided top notch attention. Highly recommended and you won’t be disappointed.”

About: Hi! My name is Megan, and I recently moved to the San Diego area from New Hampshire. Before moving here, I spent several years in Hawaii, where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Finance. I come from a big family and have always been surrounded by animals, caring for pets for friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and providing them with the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. I work remotely on East Coast hours (5 AM–2 PM), which gives me great flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship. Because I work from home, I can provide plenty of supervision and attention to help pets feel comfortable and cared for. I'm dependable, responsible, and caring, and I understand how important it is to feel confident that your pet is in good hands. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, pet sitting, or house sitting, I'd love the opportunity to care for your pets and give you peace of mind while you're away. I work full-time remotely Monday through Friday on East Coast hours (5 AM–2 PM PST), which allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship. I am available for house sitting and pet sitting during the week and on weekends, provided there is reliable WiFi access for my work computer. Because I work from home, I can provide a high level of supervision and ensure your pets receive plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet or FaceTime call before booking to answer any questions and discuss your pet’s specific routine and needs. I do not have any pets or children of my own at home, so your pet will get my full attention in a safe, welcoming environment. I’m excited to meet your pet and make sure they feel right at home while you’re away!

“First time using Rover & Megan was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable that my Lu was in great hands while I was away. I will definitely rebook her for any future needs!”

About: I've cared for pets countless times over the years 🐶, from family to strangers to close friends! I have experience with both calm and reactive dogs, and I’m familiar with common triggers and how to keep them comfortable, happy, and safe on every walk 🦴🐾. I'm a full-time college student 🎓, but my classes are fully remote with no required live lectures, giving me a super flexible schedule! If overnight care is needed, I can easily bring my laptop and get my work done while staying with your pup 🐕💻. There are always foster dogs coming and going in my home 🏠🐾, so I’m used to adapting quickly and staying super attentive to each pup’s unique needs. I’m mindful of my habits and surroundings to make sure accidents don’t happen, even when things could be unpredictable!
About: I’ve cared for pets my entire life. I grew up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, even that weird teenage phase where I decided to adopt a rat. I am patient and can read your pet’s cues. Last minute bookings are ok! I work from home full-time and make my own schedule. I am pretty much always available unless already booked. I work as a writer and make extra income doing what I love - taking care of animals. I am extremely mindful and tidy. Whether it’s a drop-in or overnight stay, you can trust me to keep your home clean, and your pet happy.
“Victoria was such a pleasure! We communicated. It was really a last-minute drop in request for our three Dalmatians. We did a meet and greet and the three dogs immediately took a liking to Victoria, and they are very picky and a lot to handle!! Victoria showed up on time fed our three dogs took them potty and spent some time and sent pictures after! She did an amazing job is a great person and we would definitely book her again and highly recommend!”

“Nikki was so flexible with our constantly-changing holiday travel plans. She came over beforehand for a meet and greet and it was immediately obvious that she is a cat person. Our cats came right up to her and she was so gentle with them. She took great care of our cats and kept in close contact throughout. 10/10 would recommend Nikki.”

“Luna is amazing!!!! I had a last minute family emergency and needed her to watch my cat for a few days and then ended up having to stay with my family longer and she had no problem accommodating and continuing to check in on my sweet Jojo. She sent me pictures and videos and my sweet baby looked so happy each time Luna came, I know she was treated with so much love and care I am SO thankful for Luna!!”

“It was clear from the moment we met Jordan, she has a love and compassion for animals. She immediately took the time to get to know Koda's personality, preferences, and routine, which made us feel comfortable leaving him in Jordan’s care. And Koda quickly became attached to Jordan so he didn’t mind at all that we were leaving. Throughout the time Jordan spent with Koda, we received regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and well-cared for he was. Jordan truly went above and beyond to ensure Koda's comfort and happiness, from playtime and walks to cuddles and treats. Jordan’s attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills were outstanding. We returned home to a happy and content puppy, and it was clear Koda had been showered with love and attention in our absence. We wholeheartedly recommend Jordan to anyone looking for a caring and responsible person to look after their pets. Koda can't wait for his next visit with Jordan!!”

“This is our first Rover experience and loved working with Anna! She got us in the day before we needed her so our family could go out and celebrate Father’s Day. Will be happy to work with Anna again!”

“Rachel is awesome! She helped check in on my two labs a couple of times during the day while I was at an all-day event. She played with my pups to help them expend some energy, hung out with them, gave them love, and was super communicative the whole time! I will definitely be hitting up Rachel again in the future! Super reliable, punctual, and responsible. Thank you, Rachel!”

“Emily is amazing!! She went out of her way before my trip to stop by and familiarize herself with feeding instructions and to also try to get my cats used to her. During my trip she kept me updated with their feedings and litter box usage and also sent pictures for each visit. She really went out of her way the whole time to make sure my cats were well taken care and and that I was comfortable leaving them in her hands. She is on time, professional, and a kind and caring person. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

Megan is absolutely wonderful. We know our kitty, Scoops, is always in good hands and well taken care of when we go out of town. It makes traveling so much easier knowing we have someone like Megan checking on him. Thank you for the wonderful care and peace of mind you provide. We appreciate you!!

Book this young lady, she is so good! My cat, Buddy, is very wary of strangers, especially if I’m gone, but it took only a short time for Buddy to warm up to Samantha. She was so patient with him and did not push him to come out of his hiding spot until he was ready. He did not miss a meal because of that patience. Within a short time, he was being very loving with her, which made me happy. She is punctual communicative and extremely reliable. Book her!

Absolutely fantastic drop in sitter for my cat. 100% recommend & she will remain my #1 choice when I go out of town. Her professionalism was my first impression. When she came to my apartment to get the key and meet my cat, she brought a notebook to keep track of all the info she needed to remember. My cat also decided it would be "funny" to play a game of hide & seek in my house while I was away. Victoria genuinely cared enough to check everywhere (including with neighbors) & even changed her schedule to find her just in case my cat had become lost outdoors. She notified me quickly about the situation and was fully transparent about what had happened. (Thankfully, my girl eventually came out of hiding when her name was called!) There are not enough genuine and trustworthy people in the world whom you could trust with your beloved pet but Victoria certainly is one of them!

Chelsea was absolutely wonderful with Watson! She was attentive, thoughtful, and kept me updated so I never had to worry while I was away. It meant so much knowing he was in such loving and capable hands. I’m so grateful for her care and would recommend her a thousand times over. Thank you again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
