Accidents happen, but your pet must be trained to potty outside. ❤️Pets must be up to date on all vaccinations and flea prevention.  ❤️Pets must not have a history of aggression. I am not a trainer, and not able to handle a dog with a history of aggressive reactive behavior. Restrictions: Dogs under 1 year old, unaltered dogs, dogs not current on vaccinations or flea treatments, or dogs over 30 pounds cannot be accommodated at this time. I work from home, and take my two small dogs on two daily walks. Play sessions occur nightly, and occasionally they tag along when we are away from home for more than a few hours. We welcome additional pets to join us! I have a fenced yard, and always monitor any animals in my care, including my two small, friendly dogs, while they are using it. All meal times are monitored, and pets are fed in separate rooms to ensure everyone's safety. While your pet stays with us, I will have their bed/crate/food bowls set up in my home office, so they can have their own space while they are adjusting to our home. They will always have access to the main living area, where there are several dog beds, toys, and water. Our home does have stairs, which can be restricted if your pet has trouble navigating them.

About: I’m a biologist and animal lover with +30 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I had my first dog at age 7, adopted a reactive dog in my 20s, and currently share my life with an 8 year old dog, so I truly understand how different every animal can be. For the past 3 years, I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family, caring for senior dogs, reactive dogs, and everything in between. Because I work remotely and do this full-time, I’m home most of the day and able to offer consistent attention without leaving your pet alone for long periods of time. I adjust my energy to match each dog, happy to be playful with energetic pups, or slow and gentle with seniors and sensitive dogs. When house sitting, I keep routines as consistent as possible, so pets feel safe and secure. I also have experience caring for cats and small animals. I enjoy using enrichment toys and puzzles with my dog as I have seen how helpful mental enrichment can be for keeping dogs calm and happy, so I’m comfortable using these tools. With my background in biology, I pay close attention to body language and stress signals and always approach pets with patience, care, and respect. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. If you give me the opportunity, I’ll do my best to make sure your pup feels safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away.

I am currently working full time, so I am only available on the weekends. I am available on Saturday and Sunday from 8am- 6pm. Your pets will always be cared for. In my home, I feed my cat and dogs breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I play with both so neither are bored. I walk my dog for about 30 min to 1 hr.

Growing up I always had pets (both cats and dogs), and they were integral in shaping how I view responsibility and care-taking as an adult. I have also pet-sat for family and friends many times and I know that each animal’s needs can look very different. Your pet is unique and I will try to care for them exactly as you would- just tell me what to do! At the moment I have full flexibility to work around your schedule as needed! I will be starting a Masters program this fall, which will limit my schedule a little bit, but I am happy to continue working with you to provide your pet with the best possible care. About: Hi, I'm an animal-lover who works from home, which means your pet gets plenty of attention throughout the day. I have over 25 years of experience caring for animals and believe dogs especially thrive with regular exercise and playtime. My own dog, Kiwi (a 5-year-old wonder-mutt), often joins us, but I'm happy to come solo if your pup prefers one-on-one time. Whether it's a dog or cat, I'll make sure they're comfortable, active, and well cared for while you're away. I work from home M-Th from 9-4 and am off F-Sun. I wake up early for a walk before work. Mid-day breaks and walks are necessary for both me and the pup! I always end the day with post-work walk, whether in the afternoon or in the early evening if it's too hot outside. When I'm caring for a client's pet, I follow their routine closely: same feeding schedule, same walk times, same house rules, so there's as little disruption as possible. I make sure dogs get the exercise and engagement they need to stay happy, and for cats, I focus on comfort, consistency, and quiet companionship.
