At the young age of 7, I would go door to door asking neighbors if I could walk their dogs. From there my love of animals continued. My first real job was at a petting zoo - I have worked with farm animals, exotic animals, reptiles and of course dogs and cats. I was a behavior specialist at our local humane society and have continued my career path with animals. Because I work from home, I thought it may be a great opportunity to offer my services to families that need it! I have a passion for animals and will treat your pets as if they were my own.

Alex was an amazing pet sitter -- we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She took such great care of our cat and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We really appreciated that she scheduled a meet-and-greet beforehand so we could get to know her, which made us feel even more comfortable leaving our pet in her care. She was always easy to communicate with, super responsive, and very professional throughout the entire process. It’s clear she genuinely cares about animals and goes above and beyond -- even giving us updates on our fish as a thoughtful bonus! Yesterday I dropped my eight-month-old poodle puppy off at Alexandra’s house for Doggy Day Care. Besides his litter mates he really hasn’t had much exposure to playing and meeting other dogs, so I was a little concerned. Alexandra explained how she would introduce him to her dogs and make sure he was comfortable before letting them get to know each other. When I saw the pictures she sent me of all of the dogs playing together I knew I had found the right person. If dogs could smile, I would say that Milo was very happy after a day of fun and interactions with Alexandra and her dogs. Alex and her family were amazing! They immediately made Winnie feel at ease during our meet in greet and their whole pack made it easy to acclimate. My senior dog has a lot of anxiety and I usually don’t leave her with anyone that doesn’t already know really well. I have received daily pictures and had the peace of mind while traveling for work that she was well taken care of.
Our dog, Gryphon, had a fantastic time at Alexandra’s house! He got play time, quiet time, cuddles, and a park visit. Upon drop off, I could immediately tell that Alexandra & her family were very knowledgeable about Dogs/pets & had their home properly set up to ensure my dog had a fun & safe environment. She was very communicative, and send fantastic photos! We will definitely be booking with her again! Thanks for taking such good care of our guy!

Schedule
I currently work from home, so my schedule is fairly flexible. If you have a pup, I have raised several puppies of my own - so I am great at reinforcing positive behaviors as well as keeping their brains working. My kids are 6 & 9 and would only be around during the weeks before 8am and after 3pm. But my children are dog savvy and understand how to appropriately interact with both dogs and cats.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard for potty and play. I also have a variety of dog beds through the house. More than likely if your pup is staying with me, they will be hanging out in whatever room I am in and be offered frequent play and potty breaks. My dogs aren't allowed on furniture due to the number of dogs we have and pet hair - but we let our doggie guests do whatever they are used to at home. We have multiple dog beds through the house, a chair specifically for the dogs and laps - I would love a lil lap dog buddy!

Because I work from home, your pup will be at my side the whole day. If your pup has energy and likes to play, we can play in the yard several times a day.
