I will be keeping all cats inside, unless owner specifies otherwise. I would like to know, in our initial conversation, if your cat likes to stake out the front door and attempt to run out. I enter every home as if this is the case, just to be safe, but a heads up is always appreciated!

I would love to give your cat(s) all the attention, pets, and (approved) treats while you're away! I retired from my long and fulfilling nursing career in 2021, had to say goodbye to my first cat in 2022 and then my second cat in 2023. Although I miss having the companionship, I don't feel it would be fair to bring home a new cat now that I'm looking to travel more in my retirement. My hope is that by signing up with Rover, I'll be able to get my cat fix while helping others who are traveling!

Janet is so helpful! My cat is a bottle raise rescue, so she is fairly social with humans and gets grumpy if I am gone for more than a day or so. She is happy not grumpy when I return home after her visits with Janet.
Janet was able to step in VERY last minute to help take care of our two cats, we are beyond grateful! Already booked her for our trip in July. Thank you Janet!
