About: I’m a biologist and animal lover with over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I had my first dog at age 7, adopted a reactive dog in my twenties, and currently share my life with an 8-year-old dog—so I truly understand how different every animal can be. For the past 3 years, I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family, caring for senior dogs, reactive dogs, and everything in between. Because I work remotely and do this full-time, I’m home most of the day and able to offer consistent attention without leaving your pet alone for long periods of time. I adjust my energy to match each dog—happy to be playful with energetic pups, or slow and gentle with seniors and sensitive dogs. When house sitting, I keep routines as consistent as possible, so pets feel safe and secure. I also have experience caring for cats and small animals. I enjoy using enrichment toys and puzzles with my dog as I have seen how helpful mental enrichment can be for keeping dogs calm and happy, so I’m comfortable using these tools. With my background in biology, I pay close attention to body language and stress signals and always approach pets with patience, care, and respect. About: I grew up with dogs and have always loved being around animals. For the past 6 years, I’ve cared for pets for neighbors, friends, and family, including both dogs and cats. I’ll go over all expectations with you ahead of time, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care. Safety is always my top priority—I make sure doors and gates are secure and keep emergency contacts on hand. I also make sure your pet gets plenty of love, attention, and updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Additionally, I have a fenced in yard with no holes so your pet can remain safe and happy.

About: I've had pets my whole life and I love ALL animals. I think it all started when my parents adopted a kitten when I was six and I would dress up the kitty in doll clothes and take her everywhere she was allowed to go! I always considered myself a cat-person, but when my mom brought home a puppy from a coworker many years ago, I took care of him like he was my own and sure enough he became my dog! I currently own one dog, two cats and a leopard gecko and they certainly make life more interesting with their individual personalities. My family has always called me the "animal-lover" because I'm the one who would frequently bring home animals that needed to be re-homed. I could never say no to anyone who asked if I could take in an animal, and if I couldn't, then I would try to find someone else who could. I have much experience walking friend's, relative's, and coworker's dogs when they were on vacation. My most recent experience, for the past few years, has been dog-sitting a coworker's massive-sized Goldendoodle when he leaves town for Thanksgiving. I give him food and water, take him out for long walks around his area and provide exercise at the park playing fetch and running around. I also fostered a sweet senior Pomeranian for a lady who was in the hospital a couple years ago and I've walked and dog-sat for many friend's over the years. People always ask me for petcare needs because they know I love animals, they trust me, and I don't have kids so they know I'm available. These were all good experiences that enriched my life and helped me know how to handle different pet situations. It makes me feel good knowing that I am helping either a dog get outside to relieve itself and feel the warmth of the sun or spend quality time with a cat while its person is away. I'm currently working part-time on a random schedule so I have plenty of availability to take dogs out for walks, check in on them for potty breaks, and provide stimulation and exercise. I live in a townhouse with a small backyard and a really high fence that is very secure for pets. I have a few different sized kennels to crate dogs who are most comfortable this way. There is plenty of room for pets to stay and pet gates throughout the house when needed to fence off certain areas or separate pets if called for.

I have two somewhat high maintenance dogs (a sweet elderly boy who needs special consideration and medications and a crazy puppy :-) but Lauren made sure she had all the details and when I got home I could tell that they were happy and well cared for. About: I have been babysitting my aunts dog since I was a kid. Her dog is very afraid of everything and I was able to keep her calm and loved. I have also owned three cats in my life and loved them with my whole heart as well. Also, here and there I have babysat a few of my neighbors pets throughout the years. I am a part-time student, so I have a lot of free time to play with your pets! I am free everyday except for monday after 5pm, and I am also available for sleepovers on those days as well!! I have a fenced yard with plenty of room for your fur baby to run around and have fun, i can crate animals easily, and i have plenty of windows to make sure they are safe outside.

Emma, is the best, I was nervous, thinking my cat would have several issues with me being gone, but it was quite the opposite. He loved them and I believe he misses her. The updates were awesome. I felt so comfortable on my trip knowing that my Kat Phoenix was in great hands. I could tell by the pictures she sent every day. Lauren was very attentive, detailed, professional and thorough when providing drop-in visits for our cat. When she visited, she always provided a lot of pictures and a descriptive overview.
