I am entirely self employed only working part-time and my schedule has opened up immensely allowing me the freedom to take care of animals anytime I am booked!

If invited into your home, I will be keen to any routines you’ve established of course. My rule of thumb is to 'leave things as is, if not, better!' so you will never have to worry about messes, or anything adjacent to. If crating is a desired practice please let me know! I have reliable transportation and am very active, so walks would be regular if that’s something your animals would need. I would be willing to drive dogs to parks with grass if needed as well and is allowed. Since I am self-employed, outings are usually limited to grocery runs and other necessary errands. I firmly believe in the importance of communication and would take any helpful steps to ensure we are always on the same page in any given circumstance.

Although I am confident in my knowledge and consider myself experienced with an array of pets, being notified of ANY underlying behavioral or health issues ensures the safety of myself and your pet! Please let me know if they have medications they need, certain behaviors/items that may trigger them, allergies, etc. There’s certain things that become common for your pet that not every pet benefits from, please let me know of any sort of special case!

However much attention they need, coordinated feeding/walks, and lots of love! Depending on the pet, we could pick out their favorite toys, or even just chill in their favorite room. For the more active, long walks and enclosed play areas are a definite must! I know every animals activity level is different and am more than capable of providing the specific care that they need.

Hello and thank you for considering me to care for your beloved pet(s)! Here is a little bit about myself to help you feel assured that you are providing the best possible care for your pet(s) in your absence! I am a seasoned animal care provider with a multitude of both personal and professional experience caring for animals. Some relevant ventures include having my own pets that i cared for throughout my life, volunteering with multiple foster groups/agencies for cats and dogs, living on a ranch managing an assortment of animals as well as their schedules, and dedicating roughly 3 years as en employee for the San Diego Zoo (an AZA accredited organization). In this time, I’ve cared for, owned and fostered several dogs and cats and have extensive experience with many breeds, ages, sizes, temperaments, and special needs that I am comfortable and happy to provide grade A service to! My schedule is typically flexible, please don't hesitate to ask questions for other animal services, scheduling, or advice. I am committed to providing all animals with the best care possible and do my best to go above-and-beyond for all pets!

This was our first experience using an in-home pet sitter. We’re truly blessed to have found Jewels. She’s extremely professional, friendly, caring, and attentive to all of Guinness’ & Jimmi’s specific routines and stringent medication regimen. It was such a relief to know our senior dogs were safe, happy, and comfortable in their own environment rather than being stressed in a kennel. We returned to relaxed pets and an immaculate house. We couldn't be more grateful for the peace of mind she provided. We will absolutely be booking with Jewels again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, loving in-home pet sitter!
