You could tell Lori was so attentive with her and made sure she was loved and well cared for during her stay. After her adventures playing at their house and with their pups she came home and slept all day long, she was completely tuckered out! My senior cat mostly stays in one room and does her own thing; she has met several dogs that have stayed with us and has had no problem with any. There are three parks and a well landscaped college campus within easy walking distance for interesting, enriching walks.

One of our pups ruptured her CCL a week before our trip, and this was one of those trips that wasn't going to be cancelled or moved. Amanda was able to easily accommodate the updated meds and keep us updated on how Emma seemed to be doing with her injury. Her background as a vet tech helped put our minds at ease and Emma and Otto were in some of the most capable hands during our trip. Our whole family loved the photos and videos provided and Emma and Otto had a blast and made themselves totally comfortable with Amanda and her sweet family. “This was my first true experience having a dog sitter and boy did Kayla blow it out of the water. I was extremely nervous finding someone to care for my two golden retrievers, that I’ve had since they were both babies, and finding someone I trusted to watch them was anxiety inducing. Long story short I am in a hotel temporarily with the doggos until our new home is ready and finding care was imperative. After scrolling through some rover profiles, and finding Kayla’s page I sent her a message and we initially did a meet and greet! After picking them up the first day I was floored when one of my Goldens ran away from the car as we were getting ready to leave and ran to Kayla’s front door. She had so much fun she did not want to leave!! The second day before leaving I asked if they wanted to go see Kayla and Copper and both of them bounced up and started running around. Thanks a million Kayla, you took so much weight off my shoulders and the updates throughout the day were adorable!!! You’re the best!”

About: I have had pets for most of my life. My family and I currently have one very playful dog, two cats and a bearded dragon. I, along with my family, have cared for family, friends and neighbors pets for several years now. I work from home, usually only leaving during the day for a few minutes in the afternoon for school pickups (most days I take my dog with me) or the occasional quick errand. I take breaks throughout the day for indoor and outdoor pet play time and daily walks. While I am usually home, if I need to be away for a time there is almost always at least one family member home. When working, my office door is always open. I have a fenced yard for outdoor play time and potty breaks and plenty of sidewalks, trails and parks near my home for daily walks and places to explore.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of many different breeds for the last 8-10 years. I love dogs and currently have one 8 month old shepherd rescue that I have been (mostly) independently training at home as well as 2 cats- one whom is 6 years that I adopted when she was only 8 weeks and another that was a stray that my husband & I took in. There are three parks and a well landscaped college campus within easy walking distance for interesting, enriching walks.

“Amanada is AMAZING!! I could write a whole essay on how great and loving this family is, but for the sake of the review, I'll keep it short! One of our pups ruptured her CCL a week before our trip, and this was one of those trips that wasn't going to be cancelled or moved. Amanda was able to easily accommodate the updated meds and keep us updated on how Emma seemed to be doing with her injury. Her background as a vet tech helped put our minds at ease and Emma and Otto were in some of the most capable hands during our trip. About: My family’s dog recently passed and we miss having fun dog energy in our house and a furry friend to play with and take on walks. I work from home so am available to give them lots of love and potty breaks. Please only contact me if your dog is ok with active kids. We look forward to caring for your dog!
