“Hyun was so amazing and sweet to Parker. Our flight got delayed and she had no issue watching Parker longer than expected. She kept us updated frequently and made sure Parker got lots of play time. Will definitely use Hyun again next time we are away.”

About: Animals have been part of my life since I was little — I grew up with six dogs and started caring for them on my own around age 10. It was never a chore. I genuinely loved it. Since then I’ve looked after pets for friends, family, and neighbors, and that same feeling has never gone away. I do drop-in visits, walks, and boarding. Your pet is welcome to stay in my home, where they’ll be treated like family — not just watched over, but truly loved. I give a lot of affection and I make sure every animal feels safe, seen, and cared for. I’m trained in pet first aid and CPR, can handle oral and injected medications, and have experience with senior animals and pets with special needs. Whatever your pet needs, I’ll show up for them. I know leaving your pet with someone new can feel hard. I just want you to feel at ease — and I want your animal to feel loved while you’re gone. I’m currently studying psychology online, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet real attention. I’m available for boarding on weekdays and weekends, and I offer drop-in visits and walks in the morning or afternoon — any day of the week. Your pet is welcome to stay in my home, where everything is calm, clean, and safe. I can also come to your home if that’s what’s most comfortable for your pet. Either way, I’m respectful of their routine and give them plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I always clean up after myself and make sure your animal feels at ease the whole time you’re away.
“Pepper had so much fun. This sitter updated me constantly and sent me pictures throughout the days. My dog had so much fun and felt so comfortable with this sitter. I didn’t have to worry about the safety or wellbeing of my pepper with Gabi. Gabi was super quick to respond to me and asked permission before taking my pepper anywhere. I will absolutely use Gabi again and recommend her to anyone that’s using Rover! This was my first time using rover and this experience really set the tone for the app! Amazing dog sitter!!”

“Vadym and Svitlana did a wonderful job with my 6 month puppy, Mocha. I had a family emergency and they were able to take Mocha with very short notice. I was very nervous but they sent videos and photos every day. Mocha came home happy and not anxious or nervous! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby!”

“Lori is the sweetest, most loving care taker of Maverick, I am so so thankful I found her!! I know my fur child is being well cared for and has the best time with her & her hubby and her doggos - he literally doesn’t want to come home when I pick him up haha! Lori will be my go to daycare / boarding place from now on!! ❤️”

“Chris really did me a solid taking Marshall in for the weekend. He was always in communication, sent a few pictures during each day, and managed to keep on top of my boy’s endless energy. When I picked him up, my dog was trying to get me to stay there, which I take as a great sign for how much he enjoyed his stay with Chris.”

“Amanda and her family are the best! This was my dogs' second stay with her and they were completely at ease with this familiar, safe environment. Amanda sent photos every day of their stay and their faces said it all- carefree, calm, and happy! Thank you, Amanda & Co. for accommodating us again!”

“First time we had left our Puppy, Button. We were nervous. Diane was so friendly and Button was a little apprehensive. She sent several updates and pictures and when we return to pick him up, he was happy and well cared for and loves Diane. Recommendation direct from Button - She took good care of me, played with me and took me for a walk in her stroller. See you soon. Button”

“JT is AMZING! We’ve used several of his services including, walks, daycare, and boarding. We most recently boarded our dog Lola with JT for 5 days! My mind is always at ease when I leave her with him. He sends multiple updates throughout the day including pictures. He always lets me know how she’s doing, which helps help alleviate my separation anxiety! Lola is always so happy to see him! We will continue to use his services and we highly recommend him to everyone! Thanks JT!”

“Thank you Lucy for watching my two dogs over the holidays! We have two senior dogs on a raw diet and Lucy was very accommodating. Lucy showed up early for pick up and drop off, and provided daily updates/photos on how they were doing. Our two dogs had so much fun while away and we are so thankful to Lucy and her wonderful family!”

About: I am new to Rover but not new to pet or house sitting in general. I have sat dogs and cats while family and friends have gone on extended vacations. I am fully background checked (teacher by trade). I love to go on walks and am great with consistency/expectations if your dog is in a training program. I am a teacher who is off for the summer with no vacation plans! I can dedicate a lot of time to checking on your cat or taking care of your dog. Dogs will have the run of the downstairs and opportunities for backyard play during the day but will be expected to stay crated/in pen at night. Feedings happen on the schedule you provide and dogs will get at least two walks a day. Doggos will be treated like they belong in my house. If interested in drop ins for cat care, I will play with your cat, provide pets and head scritches, check on food and water, and remove litter box waste. It is important to me that your pets feel safe and that their routine isn’t disrupted too much. So a meet and greet for us to both feel comfortable about your pet’s care is a must!
About: I am a PET LOVER . I treat my furry four legged friends like family members. My house consists of three young children 12 and under who adore pets and are a huge part of the positive environment in my home - lots of love and warmth. During the most part of the day ... the kids are at school. My husband works from home and I'm currently at home not working. I have one five year old Golden Retriever and one fifteen year old Siamese cat who sleeps for the majority of time. I allow my dog to roam downstairs which is plenty of space for first floor. My entire house is 3400 square feet . The dogs are welcome to go in and out as they please . My fenced in backyard space will allow for plenty of sunshine and lizard watching time ( my dogs favorite thing to do). There are dog beds - several around the lower level and my husbands office is downstairs so this is where copper hangs out most of the day . Please feel free to send your pets own bed or comfort items. My furry guy gets walks during the day and also frequent visits to the dog park for ball throwing which he absolutely adores . I can either stick to leashed walks or happy to take your baby along to get a ball throwing work out . I have been around pets my whole life. Whatever it is you need or request--I can handle . Special diet, medication and seniors - I've done it all. I am currently not working and spend a lot of time in the house besides dropping my kids to and from school. They will get plenty of human interaction, rubs , walks and treats ! Our house is bustling with energy while the kids are home. If it's a week day then it will be quiet most of the day while they are at school. Copper and any dog friends visiting get to come and go as they please . We have a fenced in back yard. Copper loves to get sunshine , vitamin D and his favorite acvitivty is patrolling the premises for lizards that may be hiding under patio furniture or the deck box. My husband works from home and has his office downstairs so copper loves to hang out in there and be next to his human friend while he's resting . I have lots of dog beds placed in various spots around the house . I only let copper ( and his dog friends) downstairs which is very spacious. The dogs are allowed to lay on the couch. They will get walks and trips to the dog park for ball throwing if they like that sort of thing (my boy loves playing catch). I am excited to welcome your baby inside my home while you are away.
“Chong has won our hearts and most of all, our 3 elderly pups hearts. The quality of care she gives has exceeded all our expectations, she treats them like her own. We love getting photos of them while we are away and if any concerns arise, Chong calls us immediately. Please don’t hesitate when choosing a caregiver for your pets, we didn’t and have never looked back!”

“Wonderful family that truly loves dogs! Great home and excellent care. Anasteysha made the booking process quick and easy and kept me updated with videos. My dog was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Leaving our dog Birdie has never been easy for us—we rarely go anywhere without her and have always tried to include her whenever possible. When we had to attend an out-of-state event where no kids or dogs were allowed, we were incredibly grateful to have found Tiffany. From the start, Tiffany made the entire process simple and reassuring. The meet-and-greet was easy and relaxed, she patiently accommodated all of our requests, and she was very understanding as our plans changed a few times. When we dropped Birdie off for the long weekend, she was so happy and excited that she didn’t even look back—which is very unusual for her! That’s when we truly knew she was in great hands. Throughout the weekend, Tiffany kept us updated with messages and photos so we could see how Birdie was doing. In fact, we felt so comfortable and confident that we hardly felt the need to check in ourselves, which says a lot about the level of trust Tiffany created. Birdie came home happy, relaxed, and completely worn out from what was clearly a fun and well-cared-for stay. She was excited to see us, of course, but it was obvious she had been very content. Thanks to Tiffany, Mom and Dad were able to enjoy a long, relaxing weekend away—our first in quite a while without worrying about Birdie. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her. If you’re looking for someone caring, responsible, and trustworthy to look after your dog, request Tiffany—you’ll be so glad you did!”

“Excellent service and communication. I booked less that 24 hour prior and Priscilla was available and relieved our stress. We will definitely work with her again! Thank you”

“Erin is a very kind, caring, and professional pet sitter. I have a young puppy, and she took amazing care of Luna during her overnight stay. Not only is Erin knowledgeable about pet care, but she also went above and beyond to make sure Luna felt safe, comfortable, and loved while we were away. Since Luna is still a puppy and can be nervous in new environments, Erin took extra time to help her adjust. She even created a cozy sleeping space and set up a crate for her, which made a huge difference. Erin’s home is very pet-friendly, clean, safe, and well-organized, with everything needed to care for animals properly. I felt completely at ease knowing Luna was in such good hands. Honestly, Erin is one of the best pet sitters we’ve had so far, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pets. ☺️🫶🏼🐾”

About: I’m a biologist and animal lover with +30 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I had my first dog at age 7, adopted a reactive dog in my 20s, and currently share my life with an 8 year old dog, so I truly understand how different every animal can be. For the past 3 years, I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family, caring for senior dogs, reactive dogs, and everything in between. Because I work remotely and do this full-time, I’m home most of the day and able to offer consistent attention without leaving your pet alone for long periods of time. I adjust my energy to match each dog, happy to be playful with energetic pups, or slow and gentle with seniors and sensitive dogs. When house sitting, I keep routines as consistent as possible, so pets feel safe and secure. I also have experience caring for cats and small animals. I enjoy using enrichment toys and puzzles with my dog as I have seen how helpful mental enrichment can be for keeping dogs calm and happy, so I’m comfortable using these tools. With my background in biology, I pay close attention to body language and stress signals and always approach pets with patience, care, and respect. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. If you give me the opportunity, I’ll do my best to make sure your pup feels safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away.

I currently have a 4 year old dog and have taken care of him since he was just 8 weeks. I know how to take care of puppies!

“Kateryna was super communicative and took such good care of our cat! Thanks a bunch for watching him for us! I’d definitely recommend and book with you again whenever I have the chance.”

“We were very anxious to leave our cat Bambi alone for the weekend for the first time and even more stressed when our sitter fell through last minute. Dana was incredibly attentive and patiently accepted all of our requests for Bambi on short notice. I definitely felt so much more assured that Bambi wouldn’t be completely alone and would have someone as compassionate as Dana to accompany him :-) Dana’s updates on Bambi during check ins really reassured us that Bambi was doing well. and in good hands :-) i would definitely consider Dana again in the future ❤️”

About: Hello! I am willing to come do drop in visits for your cats while you are away! I know that cats do best when they stay in their own space with what they are comfortable with. In addition to having my own and taking care of my own pretty boy, Binx, I have experience in house sitting with kittens and taking care of senior cats who want more pets than play.

“Jessica does a great job taking care of my cats. I regularly reach out to her when I need cat sitting. One of my cats has special needs and requires close attention, and she takes great care every time. My cats have grown to love her and I’m so glad to have her help! Thank you Jessica!”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine connection I build with animals. My first experience caring for a cat was actually in Ecuador, where a stray cat started following me home. I began feeding her and caring for her, and she quickly became my little companion. That experience taught me how important patience, consistency, and love are—especially with cats, who can take time to trust. I bring that same level of care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for.
“I am a first time Rover user and Claudia provided amazing service, and a great experience overall. I felt comfortable leaving my senior cat in her care, and definitely recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter...thanks again!”

“Aidni watched my dog after I created last minute plans. She was super accommodating and welcomed my dog into her home. My dog has an existing back/ neurological injury and normally after a dog sitter, his symptoms come back, but with Aidni, he returned home the same way he arrived. I will gladly book her again in the future and highly recommend her services!”

“Kayla took wonderful care of our golden retriever, Willow, for the day. Willow immediately became part of the family, enjoying playtime with Kayla’s golden retriever and her kids. When we picked her up, she looked like she had spent the day at a spa—happy, relaxed, and beautifully cared for. It was obvious she felt completely at home and honestly seemed like she didn’t want to leave! We had total peace of mind knowing she was in such loving hands. Kayla and her family are amazing Rover hosts, and we highly recommend them.”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up with dogs and now owning cats as well. Because of this, I have a deep understanding of both canine and feline personalities. I am highly experienced in keeping dogs happy and active through regular walks, engaging playtime, and giving them plenty of love and attention. Because I work from home full-time, my schedule is incredibly flexible, making it very easy to fit pet care into my daily routine. I take regular breaks throughout the day to stretch and go on walks, which is the perfect opportunity to give your dog some exercise and fresh air. When caring for pets in my home, safety and peace of mind are my top priorities. My cats have their own dedicated room and separate space, which allows guest pets to have plenty of room to relax in their own environment without any forced contact. I ensure they have a secure, stress-free setup where they can follow their usual routine, explore safely, and feel completely comfortable at their own pace.
About: I have had pets for most of my life. My family and I currently have one very playful dog, two cats and a bearded dragon. I, along with my family, have cared for family, friends and neighbors pets for several years now. I work from home, usually only leaving during the day for a few minutes in the afternoon for school pickups (most days I take my dog with me) or the occasional quick errand. I take breaks throughout the day for indoor and outdoor pet play time and daily walks. While I am usually home, if I need to be away for a time there is almost always at least one family member home. When working, my office door is always open. I have a fenced yard for outdoor play time and potty breaks and plenty of sidewalks, trails and parks near my home for daily walks and places to explore.
“I'm so glad I found Priscilla. She was able to accommodate a very last-minute booking and I'm so grateful she could help us out. My dog is a little timid and nervous around new people and situations. Priscilla was so patient and kind and my dog did great with her and her two pups. Priscilla was also flexible when our schedule changed, and she kept me updated throughout the day with great communication, which gave me so much peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again, and I highly recommend her.”

“I am grateful for Tiffany. She took great care of Honey - who has separation anxiety. Honey loves to be outdoors and she was able to hang out with other small dogs in the sun. She looked happy!”

“Robert and Andrea were amazing. I was in the area for the first time for a short period, and they were very welcoming and accommodating. They took Rocky on such short notice and Robert was incredibly patient and understanding when Rocky initially struggled to adjust. Communication was great leading up to the appointment and during, and I really appreciated the photo update- it was reassuring. They made sure he was fed, got him out for a nice walk, and helped him burn off energy. He came back happy and settled—truly appreciate their care. Highly recommend!”

“So thankful Amanda was able to watch my dog Maverick and my foster pup Jack at the last min while I had to run to LA for a work event. She lives close so I was able to do a meet-n-greet beforehand and the dogs were immediately at ease in her presence. When I dropped them off for daycare, they didn’t even notice I left - they seemed perfectly content at her home!”

“Responded in a timely manner and was outside to greet me upon arrival for drop off and pick up! She sent lots of pictures throughout the day. The whole process was very laid back and easy. I would definitely book with her again!”

She responded promptly to our messages and did a great job taking pictures and providing updates for each dog. We recommend using Veronica for your dog-walking needs.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of many different breeds for the last 8-10 years. I love dogs and currently have one 8 month old shepherd rescue that I have been (mostly) independently training at home as well as 2 cats- one whom is 6 years that I adopted when she was only 8 weeks and another that was a stray that my husband & I took in. All our animals are very loved and having them be a part of our lives has been our favorite adventure together 🥰 I am working at a school this year & going back around mid August but during this summer I will be available to check in/walk your dogs throughout the week because I know a busy workday can be stressful when you have your pets at home that would love attention & fun. Whatever your scheduling need is, I would love to discuss how I can be that best fit for you & your fur babies! Since I already have my dog to walk 2-3 times a day, I would love to be able to bring your dog along with us! My trailer park has a private park and is along an easy accessible trail so I can definitely bring your dog here or wherever you prefer we go! I am close by San Marcos and have taken my dog to Bradley Park and Discovery Lake so we would love to bring your fur babies along too!

I currently have a 4 year old dog and have taken care of him since he was just 8 weeks. I know how to take care of puppies!

“Erin is very sweet and I can tell how much she loves all animals. She was very prompt and sent me lots of pictures of my dog's walk! I look forward to having her walk Murphy again!”

“Angie was really great. She was easy to communicate with and replied to our messages quickly. She also sent pictures of Parker without being asked to. Would definitely book again in the future! Parker had a great time.”

I will interact with your pet in my backyard. Short walks can done on my quiet street. 7000 sq. ft. fenced backyard with a dog door. Boarding dogs can stay in my dining room or living room. “Brianne took great care of our 19 month old Bernedoodle, Kona. She and her family welcomed Kona into their home with love and care. We received pictures and updates which put us at ease since this was Kona's first time staying with another family and dog. Our dog even forgot who we were when we returned after 6 days to pick her up. Thanks again, Brianne!”

“Tatyanah & Everardo did an awesome job with my Pup Isla!!! My Pup is very timid around other pups, but Tatyanah, Everardo, and their pups made Her feel very welcome. I received videos and pictures throughout the time Isla stayed at their home. I asked them for feedback and tips on how I can get Isla more comfortable around other pups. I would definitely recommend them. Isla will be seeing them soon as I plan to bring Isla back! Thank you Tatyanah and Everardo!”

“McKenzie was absolutely incredible! Her communication was clear, consistent, and reassuring from start to finish. She went above and beyond in caring for our dog, especially when an unexpected situation came up. Our dog was triggered by some loud noises and showed anxiety behaviors we hadn’t seen before, and McKenzie handled it with such calm, attentiveness, and compassion. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dog was in such capable and caring hands. We would trust her again in a heartbeat!”

“Vicki was great with my 8 month old Aussie pup! He did an overnight stay with her. There was a bit of sorting out of things between my pup and her dog, and she handled the situation like a pro. When I came the next morning to pick up my guy the 2 were getting along like old buds. Vicki knows what she is doing. Highly recommend. Thanks!”

“Heather was the best! She kept me updated with pictures and anything that would come up with Maya throughout the boarding time. She was very thorough with all information she would need for Maya to include medications, feeding schedule, pet insurance, routine vet locations and local 24/7 emergency vet services prior to me dropping Maya off. She truly loved and cared for Maya as if it was her own dog. 10/10 would book boarding with heather again. Plus, she has a good sized backyard for your pup to play in!”

“Robert & Andrea were great with our ball of energy little pup! They were very easy to communicate with and even sent us an update picture during his stay. Our puppy seemed to really enjoy his time with them!”

“Darcey is the best Dog 🐶 sitter ever! Truly cares, is genuine, passionate ,patient and an amazing person and Dog Sitter. We are so thankful we found her. Kona Boy came home happy and content. I know he misses her already and can’t wait see her again. Thank you so much Darcey 🥰🐾. Lori and David.”

“Evan was great! Our normal dog sitter cancelled right before our planned trip. In a frenzy, I came across the Rover app and gave it a try! Evan accepted our booking request even though we were booking at the very last minute! By last minute, I mean we dropped our dog, Jack, off at his house within 1/2 hour of booking! Evan and his family were very kind and our dog got on well with the other two dogs in the house. We received pictures and updates throughout the stay which made us feel better about leaving our pup with someone we didn’t know. I would book with Evan again!”

“Very professional and considerate dog sitter. Courtney sent us photos every day, was quick to reply to messages, and above all is highly qualified! She ensured that our and her dogs were all happy playmates for the three days we were away. A very positive experience and we would gladly book Courtney for dog sitting again.”
