About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who truly can’t imagine life without animals. I grew up on a cattle ranch surrounded by dogs and cats so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. From raising puppies to loving senior dogs through their golden years, I’ve experienced every stage and I cherish them all. I grew up with two Labradors and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and I currently have an 8 yr old rescue Chiweenie from Mexico and a 13 yr old Goldendoodle. Caring for a senior dog has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and gentle care. For the past 7 years, I’ve also volunteered with 2 local dog rescues which has given me extensive experience with all types of dogs including those who are reactive, anxious or strong leash pullers. About: I've been volunteering at the Adoptions Department at Helen Woodard Animal Center for the past 3 years. I've been trained to care for dogs with different personalities or special needs. This includes energetic, strong, shy/timid, resource-guarding, and mouthy/nippy dogs. My wife and I have two cats, each with their own special needs. One requires medication via syringe in the mouth, eye drops, and even spoon-feeding nightly. The other one just likes to eat.... I'll make sure your cat(s) are taken care of and loved, even if it means I get in trouble with my own cats. Working remotely, so I have time to stop by and check in to make sure they're okay. I have my own car and pretty flexible with afternoons as well. I can come and check in on your babies and make sure they're taken care of. About: Ive had a variety of pets since my first fish tank at age six. Ive responsibly taken great care of all animals Ive had personally or have helped with. Im an empathetic person that is happy to be able to be there for all pets and animals in general. Ive helped rescue and return home many lost dogs; my heart is in helping. My dog wallace is wonderfully kind and playful. She has a huge heart and enjoys every person and animal she meets. We play in our fenced backyard with grass for relaxing in sun or shade. My senior cat mostly stays in one room and does her own thing; she has met several dogs that have stayed with us and has had no problem with any. There are three parks and a well landscaped college campus within easy walking distance for interesting, enriching walks.

About: I have long experience caring for cats and dogs. We have wall-mounted and solid wood cat trees, plus separate private quiet rooms for cats who feel nervous around other felines. For dogs, they get a minimum of three daily walks to the dog park on rain-free days. We offer premium bathing equipment with professional grooming supplies. Fresh food can be prepared for dogs with your approval. I will send daily video updates so you can check on your pet anytime. I am a student and available full-time every day, weekdays and weekends. I handle all pet care tasks, including dog walks, feeding and looking after cats. This minimizes unattended gaps and ensures consistent, proper care for your pets. I live in an apartment. I have a separate private room that works for shy pets or multiple pets. If I host a timid pet, this room will be reserved exclusively for them. Multiple pets can stay in this room if crates are provided. I have spare crates available if you do not bring your own. Crating is optional; I can skip crating based on your preference and your pet’s temperament. There is also an open area in my living room for dogs and cats. All cat trees and pet toys are accessible to pets at all times, and I will not keep them confined to a room constantly.

About: Ever since the age of 12, I have taken care of dogs that belonged to my neighbors, friends, and family. It's always a joy to work with all kinds of dogs! I was fortunate to be brought up in a pet friendly household. Currently I have one dog, two guinea pigs, and one horse! I love dedicating my time showing them lots of love and tend to their needs. I currently work full-time as an educator, but I have a flexible schedule outside of work that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I’m available anytime on Sundays and Mondays, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I’m available in the afternoons after 5 PM. About: My family had 4 dogs, ranging from poodles to a lab. I love playing fetch with them and also making them feel happy (also sleepy lol). I have one cat of my own, and he is my best friend. I do anything to make every animal happy and feel loved. Every pet deserves a family and every owner deserves a safe and trusting space to bring their pet(s) to. I currently work with kids and have been for almost 2 years. I work 3.5 hours a day every day of the week and I go to school 4 hours a day MON-THU. Between Friday and Sunday I am a completely open book. My school schedule shifts every other day so I have several short openings during the week. I live in a small apartment. Small dogs would be more preferable, but if necessary I would be willing to care for a bigger dog. I have the time to take pets outside for play times and potty times. As for my cat, he has a bunch of toys inside the home. He also has made a few jungle gyms for himself and has a cat tower that he loves.

About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was 14, starting with my own British Shorthair, who definitely has a queen personality of her own, as well as my neighbors’ cats. My love for cats has taught me how to treat them with patience, kindness, and genuine care while also helping ease your stress when you’re away from home. I’m comfortable with the everyday essentials like feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playing, brushing, and keeping your cat’s routine consistent. I also have experience with basic care needs such as giving medicine, cleaning eyes, and applying ear drops. I’ll make sure your cat feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re out of the house. I have a part time job in Del Mar, so I will need to know in advance when you need me to come in. I also am a full time student at San Diego State, and wont be able to come in Mondays to Wednesdays. Other than that I can come over other days of the week! I care for every cat with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own cat, who I truly treat like family. My cat is an indoor cat, but she enjoys wandering on our balcony and spending time outside the house with close supervision, so I understand how important it is to follow each owner’s preferences and comfort level. Before caring for your cat, I would want to know their routine, personality, and boundaries, including whether they are indoor or outdoor, if they enjoy playtime or prefer alone time, and whether they are shy, anxious, or aggressive. I always want your cat to feel safe, comfortable, and respected in their own environment. I’m very easy to work with and happy to follow any specific instructions you have, whether that includes feeding, litter cleaning, playtime, brushing, medication, or any extra help you may need while you’re away.
