“In the days of people being flaky and irresponsible, what a relief and joy it is to have found Danielle!!! I knew from the initial prompt response from her that she was going to be a rare find!!! I have an 80 lb Pitbull that I pulled from Lancaster Animal Shelter in March. He is a great dog but strong and intimidating looking. I had a friend spending the night but I needed someone to walk him and hang out with him. He had so much fun with Danielle and got exactly the activity he needed! She did alot of enriching activities with him and I SOOOO appreciated the photos and vids and updates of how she left him (ie where the water was with pics, he was out in the house or in the office, etc). She made my international trip so much more relaxing and less stressful knowing he was being well cared for! About: Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile, here’s a little about me. My family has had at least 1 dog and 1 cat in the house since I was 8 years old. My family currently has 2 dogs (yellow lab and black wire-haired dachshund), and 1 cat (Siberian). I used to be an equestrian, have watched many different animals (including guinea pigs), I’ve volunteered at dogs shelters, and recently cared for a 2 month old puppy. As you can expect, I am very comfortable with animals and attuned to their unpredictability and unique needs (potty training and feeding schedules, gentle socializing, chew-proofing the house, reading their moods and managing the energy of multiple animals at once. I’m a very sensitive person, so being around cats and dogs especially brings me joy and peace! They definitely sense that because whenever I visit my parents all my pets follow me around like tails! If I didn’t travel often, I would get a pet of my own. On a more personal note, I love being outdoors and finding any green space possible (especially in NYC), so your dogs will enjoy walks with me! I’m very attentive to garbage eating/smelling/stepping on walks, especially in NYC, so your dog will be safe with me! About: I started dog walking and pet sitting 5 years ago. Desiring a dog of my own, my private yoga and Pilates clients started saying "watch mine!" and quickly I became booked for dog sitting most weekends and almost all summer. While I am not a professional dog trainer, I also have hands-on experience training my own dogs and working with dogs I have cared for. I am comfortable reinforcing basic commands, leash manners, potty training, routines, and positive behaviors with patience and consistency. I am currently home full-time and available for drop-ins or house sitting when needed! I am flexible and can often accept last-minute bookings. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them and making them as comfortable as possible. I am happy to follow their normal routine, including walks, feeding, playtime, medications, training reinforcement, potty breaks, and plenty of attention!
