I have an 80 lb Pitbull that I pulled from Lancaster Animal Shelter in March. He is a great dog but strong and intimidating looking. I had a friend spending the night but I needed someone to walk him and hang out with him. He had so much fun with Danielle and got exactly the activity he needed! She did alot of enriching activities with him and I SOOOO appreciated the photos and vids and updates of how she left him (ie where the water was with pics, he was out in the house or in the office, etc). She made my international trip so much more relaxing and less stressful knowing he was being well cared for! That means I'm comfortable with: • Post-surgery and mobility recovery (amputee/tripawd care, braces, restricted activity) • Daily medications (pills and liquid), eye drops, and other at-home medical routines — including administering meds for other people's dogs, not just my own • Vision-impaired dogs and adaptive walking/navigation cues • Cats with medical or behavioral needs (see Cat Care section below) I also have experience with leash reactivity and dog-to-dog reactivity, and anxious or fearful dogs — I've worked closely with a veterinary behaviorist and excellent trainers over the years, putting in the real, patient work to rehabilitate a traumatized rescue. About: I have long experience caring for cats and dogs. We have wall-mounted and solid wood cat trees, plus separate private quiet rooms for cats who feel nervous around other felines. For dogs, they get a minimum of three daily walks to the dog park on rain-free days. We offer premium bathing equipment with professional grooming supplies. Fresh food can be prepared for dogs with your approval. I will send daily video updates so you can check on your pet anytime. I am a student and available full-time every day, weekdays and weekends. I handle all pet care tasks, including dog walks, feeding and looking after cats. This minimizes unattended gaps and ensures consistent, proper care for your pets. I live in an apartment. I have a separate private room that works for shy pets or multiple pets. If I host a timid pet, this room will be reserved exclusively for them. Multiple pets can stay in this room if crates are provided. I have spare crates available if you do not bring your own. Crating is optional; I can skip crating based on your preference and your pet’s temperament. There is also an open area in my living room for dogs and cats. All cat trees and pet toys are accessible to pets at all times, and I will not keep them confined to a room constantly.
