“In the days of people being flaky and irresponsible, what a relief and joy it is to have found Danielle!!! I knew from the initial prompt response from her that she was going to be a rare find!!! I have an 80 lb Pitbull that I pulled from Lancaster Animal Shelter in March. He is a great dog but strong and intimidating looking. I had a friend spending the night but I needed someone to walk him and hang out with him. He had so much fun with Danielle and got exactly the activity he needed! She did alot of enriching activities with him and I SOOOO appreciated the photos and vids and updates of how she left him (ie where the water was with pics, he was out in the house or in the office, etc). She made my international trip so much more relaxing and less stressful knowing he was being well cared for! I have already booked her again and will most certainly continue to use her in the future!!!”

About: As a flexible college student looking for summer work, I have a schedule that allows me to dedicate reliable time and attention to the pets I care for. I have 3 years of professional pet sitting experience, caring for pets with a wide range of routines and medical needs. I’ve cared for dogs/cats from just a few months old to senior age, requiring extra patience, monitoring, and specialized care. I’m experienced administering oral medications, eye and ear medications, and topical treatments. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions to make sure pets stay safe, healthy, and comfortable. Along with my professional experience, I’ve also owned and cared for dogs, cats, and horses throughout my life. I genuinely love animals and do my best to care for every pet with the same attention and love I would want for my own pets. Pet care has always been a natural part of my daily life. I’ve owned and cared for a dog, six different cats, a horse, and rodents throughout my life. I’m very used to managing feeding schedules, exercise, grooming, cleaning, playtime, and giving animals consistent attention and care every day. As a college student not taking classes over the summer, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible by providing plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and walks. I truly try to care for every pet like they’re my own so they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I’m also very respectful of clients’ homes and leave them as clean, or cleaner, than I found them while carefully following all care instructions.
“A.J. was fantastic! So positive and genuinely excited to meet our crazy pup. A.J. was also very quick to respond and was happy to help us out last minute. Our pup loved his walk with A.J. We will definitely be rebooking with A.J. in the future!”

About: Hi! I’m a college student originally from San Diego and recently spent the year living in NYC going to school at Fordham University. Living in the city I gained experience dog walking in a fast-paced environment. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from quick neighborhood walks to longer outings with lots of energy and attention. Back home, I’ve always grown up around animals and currently have a dog named Lucy and a cat named Winter. I am home for the summer and would love the chance to dog walk/pet sit. I’m very active, reliable, and truly love spending time with pets! I’m currently a freshman in college with classes scheduled at different times throughout the week. Many days I have large gaps between classes (for example, a morning class and then another later in the afternoon), which gives me flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I’m very organized with my schedule and plan ahead to ensure I’m reliable and on time. I’m also happy to communicate in advance to coordinate times that work best for you and your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m pet sitting in your home or taking your dog on a walk, I stay attentive, aware of our surroundings, and follow any specific routines or instructions you provide. I respect your home as if it were my own and make sure everything is secure before I leave. During walks, I prioritize safe routes, proper leash handling, and keeping your dog comfortable at all times. You can trust that your pet will be cared for in a safe, calm, and loving environment.
“Mark is super nice, professional, mature and trustworthy. This was our first Rover experience so we were a bit skeptical about the type of person we were entrusting with our beloved Westie. Mark gladly agreed to meet with us which gave us a chance to get to know him. So far we have used him for about 8-10 walks and we are super pleased with him and with Rover.”

About: I’ve lived with companion animals my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of who I am. I’ve also committed my career to animal protection, so I bring a lot of care, respect, and attentiveness to every animal I look after. I know how much it means to find someone you feel good about leaving your animals with, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is always to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind while you’re away. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the animals in my care throughout the day. I’m able to build my day around their normal routine as much as possible, including meals, walks, outdoor breaks, playtime, rest, and companionship. My goal is to help them feel comfortable, settled, and well cared for while they’re away from home. For boarding, animals stay in a calm, single-story home with air conditioning and a fenced backyard. There are no other animals, no children, and no smoking in the home. I do my best to keep each animal’s routine consistent and make sure they have a safe, comfortable, low-stress environment. I’m also happy to follow detailed care instructions around feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs or preferences.
“I highly recommend Cari! She has taken really well to my girl, Marley. I can tell she is kind and definitely loves animals. She is also very communicative and it's really helpful to have someone that is this dependable and communicative!”
About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 5. I grew up with Goldens, German Shephards and Labs mostly. I had a pug of my own as well as a black lab. I have 4 siblings and they all have 1-2 dogs and we all laugh that we treat them like humans ie: sometimes they eat better than us! (wink wink). More recently, I lived in a place that wouldn't allow dogs so I would get my dog fix going on my daily walks especially in Encinitas where they are everywhere. But I thought getting into dog sitting/walking would allow me to be around them even more. They are good for the soul. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. So I can be available for last minute things that may come up and I'm am able to be at the house/do walks often if needed. I walk about 2 hours a day as it is so it would be in even better addition to my routine to have a dog with me! I am unable to have pets in my home at the moment although that is going to change in the next few months. As far as coming to your home, I am very respectful, reliable and will treat your dog like it's my own.

About: Hello! I'm Charlie I've been working for over 12 years taking care of children and on occasion, pets. I'm hoping to add more animals to my life as I am going through nursing school, the stress relief and excuse to get outside that furry friends offer is immeasurable! I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs as an occasional sitter/walker and home co-habitant and have had a wonderful feisty cat for over 14 years. (She stays at home unless otherwise specified) I have the most experience with older dogs, and manage to win over even the most tentative of furry family members. (I'm also shy, so I attribute it to mutual awkwardness.) I have experience giving eye drops, disguising medications as treats (or convincing stubbon animals to take medication) and I am experienced in giving injections. I'm more comfortable and experienced with medium and larger dogs , cats of all sizes and temperaments (but i will not turn down the opportunity to make a small dog, bunny, scaley or feathered friend!) . I've experienced some mischievous puppy antics that have led to my finding out that I can keep level headed in an emergency. As I mentioned above, I work in childcare, so I have experience performing work unsupervised in other peoples' homes, am in nursing school (so background checks are no issue) and can provide necessary references if requested to ensure my trustworthiness. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about me and my experience. Thank you. I'm currently in school part-time for my BSN while searching for new grad RN positions and helping out with a local nursing association. I have a very flexible schedule and can often work around your needs. I usually housesit In a client's home while they are away, but am open to drop-ins. I try and follow a furry friend's routine as closely as possible and if I can't on a day, I make sure that they always get enough potty breaks and adjust walks accordingly. I do tend to take the longest walks in the AM (30-45 min) + before bed (30-1 hr) with shorter 15-30 min "potty" walks during the day . I take into account their needs (feeding/medication/b&b evacuation times) & normal excursion times and my schedule and plan the week out in advance. Written instructions help me with daily tasks or pet personality quirks if they are more set in their ways. I'm happy to water plants, gather mail, take out trash and am comfortable communicating with vendors (repairment, pest control etc) if they need to visit when you are away. I treat the home better than I treat my own and aim to maintain (or exceed) the level of cleanliness that existed when I arrived. I'm not shy when it comes to vacuuming, laundering linens & pet bedding as needed while I am staying.

It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment.
