“In the days of people being flaky and irresponsible, what a relief and joy it is to have found Danielle!!! I knew from the initial prompt response from her that she was going to be a rare find!!! I have an 80 lb Pitbull that I pulled from Lancaster Animal Shelter in March. He is a great dog but strong and intimidating looking. I had a friend spending the night but I needed someone to walk him and hang out with him. He had so much fun with Danielle and got exactly the activity he needed! She did alot of enriching activities with him and I SOOOO appreciated the photos and vids and updates of how she left him (ie where the water was with pics, he was out in the house or in the office, etc). She made my international trip so much more relaxing and less stressful knowing he was being well cared for! I have already booked her again and will most certainly continue to use her in the future!!!”

About: I can understand the sometimes uneasy feeling of leaving your four legged family member with someone else. That’s where I come in! I will be your pet’s new best friend and take care of them with the love and care that I would for my own - making sure runners don’t escape, that your daschund is picked up mindfully of their back, your maltipoo’s coat is maintained, your anxious dog is approached with gentleness and patience. No pet care is one-size-fits all and I will customize your pet’s experience to their individualized needs and desires. I have over 10 years of experience with dog sitting both large and small dogs. Behavioral correction is the priority and I may be a small person, but if your dog pulls, I can lift 145+ lbs. I have experience from training puppies all the way up to senior dog care. I can care for senior dogs and accommodate to any mobility issues as well! I care for the safety and emotional wellbeing of all animals and provide compassionate care. I’m excited to meet my new friend! Let me know if there any questions or concerns I can address and we can work on a game plan for your little one. Depending on the day I may be available throughout the morning/afternoon/evening. Generally house sitting is available every day. Weekend availability varies but I can be accommodating based on scheduling requirements. I offer care in the client’s home only as of right now, and can provide excursions for extra enrichment as needed. I can help with exercising active dogs in an effective manner this way.
“So kind and accommodating! My poor guy was limping and had been stung by a bee and she went and checked on him for me while I had to go into work quickly before taking him to the vet. She sat with him and gave him lots of love and was so nice. Would definitely use her again!!”
About: I have a lot of experience growing up and caring for all kinds of dogs, specially big ones. Neighbors and friends have used me may times to watch over their pets when away on vacation. Love spending time with all animals! I recently graduated May 2024 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from ASU, and worked for the last year as a medical assistant! I am resuming classes before applying to medical school and would love to spend my extra free time taking care of your pup/kitty! I’m more than happy to work around anyone’s busy schedule to help watch over their pet! I will always put the safety of the pet first before anything and will always keep an eye on them at all times. I am very careful to make sure to lock up after I am finished with everything. will always double check to make sure the pet is safely put in their crate/ sleeping area and is properly fed, walked, and loved.

Although I didn’t meet her I was grateful she could let Teddy out with her busy schedule She was flexible with walk times, posted pictures of my pup and was communicative on the app which is awesome ! As a fellow nurse I felt safe having her come to our place and walk Teddy - I will def use her again!”

“Ellyn was so great! Super communicative and my dog Zorro was happy and cozy when I got home after his walk. She helped me out last minute and fit me into the schedule. I’m so grateful!”

“Eli did a great job walking Max. Max gets stressed when I leave. Eli is patient with Max and even helps Max eat when normally he wouldn’t because he’s stressed. Grateful for Eli! Will definitely use Eli again.”

“Lena is great. My favorite dog sitter. She is a dog lover and does everything to make your dog happy. I boarded my dog with her. And she did all the things he loves. Takings him for long hikes in the mountains, bring him to yeh beach , play with him ball , let him play her so she take him out numerous times when he wants it even at 5 am. Even bake doggie Cookies for him ? My dog loves her now and doesn’t want to come home and always waits for her to come to pick him up . Dogs know real stuff :)”

“Aj was so great with my dog Archie! Aj was attentive to Archie’s needs, so kind to him, and Archie immediately loved him. We will definitely use Aj again!”

“Jeanine was extremely thorough in the initial meet and greet with our animals. We really appreciated her attention to detail and loved all the pictures she sent with updates each visit. We would definitely recommend her to someone looking for a reliable pet sitter.”
“Amazing person! Very responsive and helpful. She spent time before hand getting as much information about him as possible. That made me feel really good knowing she took the time to get to know our dog/family member!”

“Regina was great to work with. We met with her before her walks with Daisy so she could meet and greet and had no problems at all. We felt like Daisy was in good hands :)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fairbanks Ranch
Rachel has been great with our dogs! She’s reliable, communicative, and always sends photos and updates after her visits, which we really appreciate. Our puppy, Harlow, has a lot of energy, and our older dog, Dixie Mae, has a very different pace, but Rachel does a wonderful job with both of them. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. We’re so happy we found Rachel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog walker.

Fernanda is on point from the start. We had not had a chance to properly make an introduction and her vibes and professionalism with dogs is immaculate. They got along very well from the beginning, and was most generous to help and assist. I was impressed how she could understand my dog very well from the first time meeting. Highly recommended!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
