In a week they were at Fiesta island 3 or 4 times, which requires a bath after each visit due to Mila’s digging, rolling in the sand and dirt, etc. Kaylan also took her to the dog park, restaurants and many neighborhood walks. About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember. We got our first pup when I was 5 and I’ve been obsessed ever since. I’m always the person who finds the dog first at someone’s house, and my camera roll is probably 90% pictures of animals at this point. I’ve lived with dogs for about 30 years and have been around all kinds of personalities, from high-energy pups to sleepy seniors. I really just love getting to know each dog and what makes them them. I also have experience reinforcing basic commands and working with professionally trained dogs, so I’m comfortable following whatever training methods and cues you already use at home. I’m familiar with e-collars as well and am comfortable using owner-provided training tools when that’s already part of your dog’s routine. I’m a remote designer and small business owner, so my schedule is really flexible and I can spend plenty of time with the pets I’m watching. I also do home organization and build organizing systems, so I’m naturally pretty tidy and respectful of other people’s spaces. Mostly, I just want your pets to feel happy and comfortable while you’re gone, and for you to be able to relax knowing they’re being well taken care of. I work remotely and run my own small business, so my schedule is super flexible. I can work around your pet’s normal routine and I’m around a lot during the day. Walks, meals, potty breaks, playtime, or just hanging out while I work all fit pretty naturally into my day. I try to keep things as normal as possible for your pets while you’re gone. I’ll follow their usual routine, feeding schedule, house rules, and anything else you normally do with them. I’m also really respectful of people’s homes and always want you to feel comfortable knowing both your pets and your home are being taken care of.
“I was so nervous about leaving my dog with a stranger for 3 days, but Claudia went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. She was kind enough to meet my dog beforehand to make sure it was a good fit—and my dog loved her instantly. She even rolled over for belly rubs, which she never does for anyone new! While I was away, Claudia sent me tons of photos and videos, which made me feel so connected. I had left very specific door-training instructions (my dog must sit before the door is opened, and the hallway must be cleared before the release command). Claudia followed these perfectly, which was really important to me for safety and consistency. When I came home, my house was spotless—honestly cleaner than when I left. Even my Brita was filled to the top! And the sweetest surprise of all: it was my dog’s birthday while I was away, and Claudia threw her a mini birthday party.
