Pet care experience
Furrrever hanging with animals!
Hi! I’m Alexa and I am from San Diego, California. While growing up, I walked to school and stopping along the way to pet each and every dog we spotted. Eventually my family adopted one of our own, Marley, and from there on out she walked to school with us every day. My love for dogs only grew from there. I would pet sit my neighbors dog when needed (vacation, late from work, etc). Their dog loved to walk but had a hip problem so we had to make his walks shorter and have him wear doggie booties. I also volunteered at Helen Woodward Animal Shelter for a number of years. I’ve been taking care of pets since high school, throughout undergrad and currently while in graduate school! Since I don’t have the time for a pet of my own, I’m more than happy to help out with yours :)

The bestest!!!
Alexa saved the day when our usual sitter had a family emergency a few days before our trip (I was in a real panic). She was responsive, responsible, and lovely with our boys. The house looked great when we got home. Would absolutely have her watch our dogs again!
Perfect first experience
Alexa is our favorite! She is the only walker that can get my dog to walk more than around the building! He is always happy and tired.

Depending on the size and energy level of your pet. I’d be happy to go on runs with them or a leisure meander around the neighborhood, just let me know what you prefer
