I’ve been a stay at home mom for the past 18 years and a social worker prior to that. I am looking for part time work since my duties as a mom have naturally shifted since my two kids are 16 and 18. I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend some time helping others with taking care of their furry friends.

I would love the opportunity to walk your dogs and/or do drop in visits. I’m very reliable and a great communicator. I would also be available to help out with drop ins for cats as well. Growing up we always had dogs and cats. I also helped out with my parents cats as well as an adult.

I’m a great communicator so would love to get all the helpful information I can about your pet so it ensures that we will have a fun visit! The more personal details I know about your pet ahead of time the better. I love hearing about all the unique and wonderful qualities each animal has!
A typical day
I’d love to take your dog out for long walks in the sunshine. If there is a park nearby then we could definitely do some running around if that’s what your dog likes to do! We can end our time together with snuggles and belly rubs and a promise to do it again soon:)

I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals, big and small! Family, friends, and neighbors and of course my very own. I have lots of experience with senior care for dogs. I had a toy poodle for 18 years, and she needed medical care the last 4 years of her life which I provided at our home where she was most comfortable. I now have two dogs, 16 years old (a schnoodle I rescued when he was 2 1/2) and a 13 year old miniature schnauzer. We love our dogs very much and they bring us joy every day.❤️

Karen has watched our cat on several trips, and every time has been easy and reliable. She’s professional, warm, and easy to communicate with, and we always get thoughtful updates and photos, which makes being away feel a lot better. Our cat has a specific routine with supplements and a wet food to water ratio, and Karen handles it with ease. She also takes time to play with our energetic young cat. Also, our cat genuinely enjoys her, which means everything to us. Would absolutely recommend Karen if you’re looking for someone consistent, communicative, and kind. 💛
