About: Specialized care for dogs with medical needs or mobility challenges — and just as much love for the easygoing ones. I've had animals in my life since I can remember, and connecting with them has always come naturally to me — dogs who won't let strangers near them tend to warm up to me fast, much to the surprise of their owners. That instinct is backed by real, hands-on experience — with cats as well as dogs, including medical care and behavior work (more on that below). My own dog is a blind tripawd — I've been through amputation recovery firsthand, along with multiple other surgery recoveries, daily medication schedules, and eye drop routines. When he started losing his vision, I trained him to navigate the world confidently and learned how to walk him safely even as a blind dog on three legs. That means I'm comfortable with: • Post-surgery and mobility recovery (amputee/tripawd care, braces, restricted activity) • Daily medications (pills and liquid), eye drops, and other at-home medical routines — including administering meds for other people's dogs, not just my own • Vision-impaired dogs and adaptive walking/navigation cues • Cats with medical or behavioral needs (see Cat Care section below) I also have experience with leash reactivity and dog-to-dog reactivity, and anxious or fearful dogs — I've worked closely with a veterinary behaviorist and excellent trainers over the years, putting in the real, patient work to rehabilitate a traumatized rescue. I'm comfortable taking on reactive dogs, though it's not my primary focus. And of course — dogs with zero "issues" are always welcome too. Sometimes the best job is just a happy walk and a belly rub. Beyond dogs, I bring over a decade of childcare experience, which turns out to translate surprisingly well: patience, reading body language and mood, sticking to routines, and staying calm when things don't go as planned. I have a lot of flexibility in my availability. On any day marked available on my calendar, I Ican guarantee I won't be away from your pet for more than 3 hours at a stretch. I offer a free meet-and-greet before any booking — especially useful for anxious, fearful, or reactive dogs, so we can see how your dog responds to me on their own terms before anything is official. Because I'm coming into your space rather than the other way around, I focus on keeping things as close to your pet's normal routine as possible — following your existing schedule, feeding times, and habits rather than imposing my own. Outings happen wherever you and your dog are comfortable, whether that's your usual walking route, a dog park, or the beach — I adapt to what's familiar to your dog rather than introducing new environments during what can already be a stressful transition. For dogs that benefit from extra socialization, I'm happy to set up one-on-one playdates or supervised park/beach time. For reactive dogs specifically, I can coordinate distanced parallel walks alongside another trusted sitter, giving your dog controlled exposure at a safe distance rather than avoiding other dogs altogether.

About: Pets deserve the best! Grew up surrounded by all types of pets, such as dogs, cats, turtles, and hamsters. Have had a cat of my own for 6 years, and I've constantly looked after my sister's dog since he was a puppy. I was the animal-obsessed one in my family, constantly taking in strays. I am a student at a University and have class on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. However, I am free on those days after 5 pm. On Monday, Wednesday, and the weekend. I am free at any hour. I give my full attention to the animal when I am with them and treat them as my own. I am always sure the animal is comfortable before anything. I love to treat other people's pets as my own, and know when to give them their space. Am respectful of others' homes and careful not to disturb space. Instructions are easy for me to follow, and I like to send updates with photos of your fur baby.
