About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, including a black lab, multiple Jack Russell terriers, a Coton de Tulear, a golden retriever, and a Biewer terrier. Caring for a wide range of breeds and personalities has given me a strong understanding of different energy levels, needs, and temperaments. My pet care experience goes beyond my own dogs. I started dog walking for neighbors in high school and continued pet sitting throughout college. From 2022–2025, I was the designated sitter for a Maltese who regularly stayed with me for weeks at a time while his owners traveled. I’m comfortable with everything from routine walks to longer stays, medication instructions, and keeping pets calm and happy when their families are away. I’m an extremely active person and love taking dogs on long walks and hikes when they’re up for it. So I jumped into the deep end and am very glad I went with Madeline. She lived fairly close by so it was easy to do a meet/greet and drop off my keys with her. She was very personable and my kitten warmed up to her very quickly at the meet/greet. She followed through on all her commitments, showing up on time and providing exceptional care to my kitten. She took Ember out to the beach to explore, and was fantastic with her specific needs (avoiding overstimulation, managing some bits of training that are still ongoing because she is a puppy). We really appreciate that Nataliya was available without tons of notice, and that she was able to watch Ember 1:1 because even though our pup loves playing with other dogs, she gets really anxious initially. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
