“May is definitely my new pet sitter. She was accommodating and flexible and went thr extra mile to help me (in a pinch). I have a sensitive pup and I can tell when he came home he had been having a good time. Happy pup. She even dropped my lil guy off for me because i was stuck in a work meeting. Very friendly dog loving people. Thanks May! Will definitely use again.”

What sets me apart is my focus on behavioral consistency and specialized attention for different life stages. Whether it’s high-energy playtime or calming cuddles, I tailor every visit to match your pet's unique personality and energy levels. My background as a professional photographer makes me a uniquely patient and observant pet sitter, as I am already trained to anticipate subtle body language and capture a pet's truest personality. In 2026, creating a safe and trustworthy environment for your pet is my highest priority. Whether I am caring for them in my home or yours, I begin every engagement with a thorough meet-and-greet to align on routines and tour the property for potential safety hazards. In your home, I strictly follow all security protocols, including locking gates, managing alarm codes, and ensuring hazardous items like cleaning supplies or loose cables are inaccessible. To build lasting trust, I maintain transparent communication by providing real-time updates and professional-quality photo check-ins throughout the day. My approach is designed to preserve your pet's familiar routine, reducing their stress while ensuring your home remains secure and respected in your absence.

About: I’ve taken care of several dogs over the years from close friends and family. I’m very keen on listening to every dogs’ needs and helping them get their energy out. I’m a part time student, so I have plenty of free time to care for dogs. I focus on my studies mostly at night, which give me the rest of the day to focus on dog sitting. My family’s fenced in yard is perfect for your dogs playtime and bathroom time, and inside house your dog is allowed to unwind and get food/treats.
“Michael was amazing with Manu! Sent pretty frequent updates and made sure he was kept busy with often walks and playtime! Highly recommend, definitely will use again!”

About: I'm a dog owner myself. I have had a senior dog that needed medication. I've had foster dogs of all shapes and types. I'd say I treat my dogs almost like humans. They get tons of love, attention, words of affirmation, and TLC. I turn music on for them if I need to leave. My pet friends are my biggest source of joy and I do all that I can to adhere to any schedules, special requests, and whatever it takes to keep my doggie friends happy and comfortable. I work from home full time. The busiest time in my work day is from 7-10am for remote meetings. I have a lot of flexibility for walks, dog park outings, and cuddle time. I am on meetings so excessive barkers could be a little tough. I have a large fenced yard where doggies love to sniff and roam and explore. I am generally outside observing. I have a large grassy yard that is fully fenced. I always join my doggie friends outside to make sure they are safe and not getting into any trouble. My goal is to make sure my pet friend has frequent breaks outside, walks as needed, and a comfortable and quiet home to nap and do their thing. There are no small children here. I have 2 dogs of my one - a 10 year old male, 25lb mixed poodle terrier and a 2 year old male, 11lb mixed poodle mutt. They both like easy going dogs. Both are neutered.

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 5. I grew up with Goldens, German Shephards and Labs mostly. I had a pug of my own as well as a black lab. I have 4 siblings and they all have 1-2 dogs and we all laugh that we treat them like humans ie: sometimes they eat better than us! (wink wink). More recently, I lived in a place that wouldn't allow dogs so I would get my dog fix going on my daily walks especially in Encinitas where they are everywhere. But I thought getting into dog sitting/walking would allow me to be around them even more. They are good for the soul. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. So I can be available for last minute things that may come up and I'm am able to be at the house/do walks often if needed. I walk about 2 hours a day as it is so it would be in even better addition to my routine to have a dog with me! I am unable to have pets in my home at the moment although that is going to change in the next few months. As far as coming to your home, I am very respectful, reliable and will treat your dog like it's my own.
About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life—growing up with both cats and dogs taught me early how to care for pets with love and patience. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to sitter for my friends whenever they go out of town, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or just making sure their pets feel comfortable and cared for. I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs, and I always do my best to match their energy and routines. Whether your furry friend is energetic and playful or more laid-back and shy, I’ve got them covered! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I’m available for regular walks, drop-ins, or extended care depending on your pet’s needs. I keep my availability up to date and do my best to be reliable and consistent, so you can count on me to stick to your pet’s routine. I’m also happy to coordinate a schedule that works best for you. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and follow all instructions closely—from feeding routines and walk preferences to any special needs or behaviors. I take extra care to ensure doors, gates, and crates are always secure, and I never leave pets unattended longer than agreed. I stay attentive during walks and in the home to keep your pet safe at all times. You can expect clear communication and regular updates, so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.

About: Hi! I’m a huge animal lover with over 20 years of pet sitting experience, including caring for cats of all personalities and temperaments. I know cats thrive on routine and comfort, and I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and attentive to care for them while you’re away. Whether your cat is playful and social or more independent and shy, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. From feeding and playtime to cuddles and keeping routines consistent, I treat every cat like they’re my own.

“Emily was a very attentive and responsive cat sitter, especially considering our request was very last minute. She really went the extra mile checking to make sure her automatic litter box cleaner was functioning correctly and when she noticed it wasn’t working with me to help troubleshoot it. Would recommend anyone looking for reliable pet care!”
“Kimberly stayed at our house with our cat for 5 days and was AMAZING! Very responsive, we got tons of pictures, and our cat loved her so much that she has been sleeping in the guest bedroom where Kimberly stayed instead of her usual spots, haha. Will definitely have Kimberly cat sit again for us. Thank you, Kimberly!”

About: I started dog walking and pet sitting 5 years ago. Desiring a dog of my own, my private yoga and Pilates clients started saying "watch mine!" and quickly I became booked for dog sitting most weekends and almost all summer. I grew up with horses and three dogs so I am very comfortable around animals of all kinds. A former Division I volleyball player, I'm active and love taking a daily walk or two listening to a podcast, so I might as well bring a dog along! I'm single and do not have children so my schedule is flexible. I do work in person in an office in Cardiff but am able to care for dogs before work, at lunch, and after work. My weekends are free. I do not care for pets in my own home but am happy to care for them in their own homes whether it is coming over for a visit or walk or dogsitting/catsitting and staying the night.

“Crista was great! Quickly responded to my request and had a nice meet and greet. Sent updates and pictures of our cat while we were away, collected our mail and cleaned up food dishes. Very happy we found her!”

About: Intuitive dog caretaker. Your pup's needs are my number one priority. I adapt to your fur baby's needs. When they want a long walk, I'm their guide. When they want extra belly rubs, I've got lots of love to give. I understand how tough it can be to trust someone with your dog. The good news is that dogs recognize "dog people." I'll make your dog feel comfortable and ensure every need is met. I'm a freelancer and work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can accommodate almost any schedule, and I'm usually available at a moment's notice if needed. For pet sitting, I offer services in the client's home. I feel like this is the best arrangement for the pup. They get to stay in their familiar environment, and they know they're at home. Maybe it's irrational, but I worry about how a dog will feel when they're left at someone else's house, especially if it's not something they're used to. When I stay at a client's home, the client can feel confident that their home and pet will be treated with the utmost care. I respect property and take care of any pet as if they were my own. I sympathize with the stress an animal may feel when their pack is somewhere else, so I do everything possible to ensure the pet is happy in your absence.
About: I have been a dog owner and animal lover my whole life! I am loving, compassionate, trustworthy and responsible. Your pets will receive a lot of attention, playtime and love from me! They will be treated as one of the family. I have raised my own puppies and cared for my senior dogs. I have fostered dogs for Norcal Golden Retreiver Rescue (where I rescued one of my dogs) and I have also volunteered at Pets In Need for both dogs and cats. Many friends call on me to help walk, feed and pet/housesit for them when they go out of town. Over the last 7 years, I have worked as a Personal Assistant/Home Manager for many high level executives and have cared for their homes and pets. I have over 30 years experience with cats as well. I raised my own kittens and would be happy to care for yours as well! Sadly, I lost my 12 year old Golden Retriever, Jax, in October 2024, so I have a lot of extra love to give. I'm currently home working on small personal projects and available most weekdays, so I am very flexible and have plenty of time to care for and play with your pet or pets! I'm available most weekdays and some weekends as well. I have a safe, fenced in yard. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac and live in a very dog-friendly, loving home. All pets are treated like family :) Your pet's safety and happiness are very important to me.

I currently work from home 5 days a week and have a flexible schedule. I live a very active lifestyle and love to go on walks. About: As a certified Holistic Health Practitioner I look at animal care from all aspects. I make sure they get good nutrition, exercise and interaction with other dogs. I am okay with senior dogs' needs, like diapers or special soft food or medication or even hand feeding. There are no cancer causing pesticides being used around our home and only bio-degradable non-toxic cleaners. For me dogs are supporting and protecting us on our journeys physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. I also offer canine massage. My husband and I are working from home and our daughter (19) is currently taking online classes. All of us love animals very much and enjoy being around them... We have a fully fenced yard (6 ft) and 2 little dogs ( one senior and one puppy) to keep your dog company. We have balls and toys to play with and your dog is welcome to share the dog beds and our couch with everybody. Our porch door is open all day which makes potty training easy and gives your dog plenty of outdoor time. We usually take everybody for a nice sunset walk and can add a nice beach walk to the day. We do not use any pesticides or harsh chemicals and there are no toxic/ poisonous plants in our yard/home.

“Katie is so sweet and thoughtful with our puppy Moose. Katie watched our 9 month old Moosie girl for 3 days. She was incredibly great with communication and photo sharing. I love that other dogs were present at daycare so Moosie could socialize. Each day I brought her back I could tell Moose was so excited to be there. She came home exhausted and slept the rest of the evening! Would definitely recommend Katie and plan to use her again in the future. Thank you Katie for being so great!”

“Jane took care of our Dude while we were enjoying some local haunts. There was an added benefit of his being able to interact with some new dogs! We would definitely book Dude with Jane again in the future!”

“Lan took very good care of Peanut. Last minute I had to change my reservation to assist my friend with her dog and Lan accommodated the situation with no hesitancy. Peanut was a happy camper and the photo helped to ease my concerns of him being in an unfamiliar place. Thank you so much for your care and accomodations.”

“This was my first rover so I was admittedly quite nervous. Not only for myself, but even my dogs caretaker as at 4 months old, she can still have puppy like tics. Despite it all, Linda was communicative, thorough and a joy to interact with. You can tell her family has a great vibe, and that reflects in how they treat their dogs. I’m especially appreciative that we were a bit late to pick my pup up due to some traffic and Linda was so understanding and patient. Two paws way way up ?”

I work from home 5 days a week and can take your dog out multiple times a day for potty beaks and walks. “Audrey was wonderful with our little monster dog. She was patient and understanding. Her updates after each walk were much appreciated and gave us peace of mind while we were away. Would definitely use her again in the future!”

“I’m so thankful to have found Analisa! My dog is super shy with new people and takes a lot to warm up. She sits with him for a full visit if he refuses to walk, and eventually got him to walk to our neighborhood park after several visits. Knowing he is cared for takes my stress away while I’m at work, thank you Analisa!”

“Highly recommend Donna! My older dog just loves her. She has calming energy and is patient. Great communicator and takes special care of my pup. Grateful she became our weekly dog walker!”

About: My friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk & care for their loved puppies/dogs ever since I could remember. I have been a devoted animal lover my entire life, and enjoy connecting with them on such a personal level :) I’m currently on an extended summer break and I am free of a full time job so my schedule is very open throughout the week to spend lots of time with your pets! I care for pets at my clients home by following their instructions thoroughly. I want to give pets companionship, while also feeding, walking, entertaining, and cleaning up after them.
About: I’ve had a dog in my life since I was born, grew up with 3 dogs and have taken care of them throughout my life. My father trained many dogs as well as entering into multiple dog shows. I’m currently working remotely so I have pretty much unlimited time to care for pets whether that’s at a house or taking them to the beach. I have two dogs as of now so I know how to feed, cage, and support the dogs throughout the stay with them. As well as taking them on walks when needed.
About: I’ve helped care for my family dog since I was 10, went to shelter camps growing up, and volunteered at a shelter near me during college. That is where I really got comfortable with big, strong, and nervous dogs. More recently I’ve been walking through another app, mostly repeat clients, so the routine is second nature: show up on time, follow instructions exactly, send a photo and update every visit. I’m confident with pit bulls, huskies, and German shepherds, and I’m not thrown by a puller or a dog who needs a minute to warm up. If yours has a quirk, just tell me at the meet-and-greet and we’ll work with it! I recently graduated, so my schedule is wide open right now. I’m available most days including mornings, middays, and weekends, and I can usually take last-minute or same-day requests. Midday walks while you’re at work are my sweet spot. If I ever can’t make a time work, I’ll tell you right away instead of leaving you hanging. I’m super adaptable to any routine! Same leash, same route rules, same door and lock instructions, just let me know. I’m comfortable crating if that’s part of your setup, and I’ll double check gates, doors, and water before I leave. With strong or reactive dogs I keep walks lower-traffic and give other dogs plenty of space. You’ll get a photo and a quick update every visit so you always know how it went!
“Jacob was great with our dogs! He was communicative, reliable, and very sweet with both of them. They can definitely be a handful around other dogs, and I really appreciated his patience and honesty about how the walk went. He took great care of them and kept me updated throughout. I would definitely recommend Jacob to other pet parents!”

“Kimberly is amazing! This is my third time having her take care of my dog and I know that he is in great hands with Kimberly. She is attentive, communicative, extremely trustworthy, and truly cares for animals. She’s also so easygoing and sweet! Highly recommend.”

“Luke is awesome. He came to the door and before entering talked to my dog and made him feel comfortable and when he entered they were immediate friends! Luke is trustworthy and responsible and I’ll will use him again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 20 years of pet sitting experience and a lifetime of caring for dogs. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have my own pup, so I truly understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and loving to care for your pet. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, companionship while you’re away, or extra love and attention, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m experienced with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved! I work from home on my own flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care, walks, and drop-in visits throughout the day. I’m able to be reliable, attentive, and flexible to your pet’s routine and needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home, and I treat both with the same care and respect I would my own. I make it a priority to follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions to help them feel safe and comfortable. I also love providing updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away.
“Julie was GREAT! She is everything you want in a dog walker. She walked and played with my puppy Piper. Julie was very responsive, accommodating and you could tell a true dog lover. She sent several photos where Piper was happy and playing with her toys. I will definitely use Julie again to watch Piper. Thanks Julie!”

“Crista was awesome! She took our puppy and my parents dog for an extended walk, sending great pictures of them mid-adventure. It’s not easy to walk the two of them, but she did great. Would absolutely book again!”

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs, horses, and several other pets throughout my entire life. As a teenager, I started dog/house sitting for neighbors and family friends. I live an active life style and am more than hapy to take your fur babies out for some exercise! I currently work as a Firefighter and have several days off throughout the week. My schedule is flexible when I am not at work and gives me the opportunity to visit your pets whenever needed. Having been around dogs of all breeds and sizes, I understand that each dog is unique. Whether your pup is a high-energy retriever in need of a vigorous run or a senior companion who prefers a leisurely stroll, I tailor each walk to suit their individual needs and preferences. My commitment is to ensure every outing is safe, enjoyable, and fulfilling.

“Linda and Zach were great to Noodle!! They sent me photos, were extremely responsive and my pup was nice and tired from his stay. Would have them watch Noodle again! 😌”

“Great stay for Juniper! She had a wonderful time being loved and cared for and made herself quickly at home. We were given photos and brief updates for her short stay to let us know everything was going well.”

“Kris and Dan are amazing! From the first time we connected, it was clear how genuine and kind they are—and how deeply they love pets. Winnie was super happy and relaxed in their care, and Kris kept us updated with the sweetest pictures. We feel so incredibly lucky and grateful to have met them and trust them completely. Kris and Dan—we can’t thank you enough for everything. Knowing Winnie has found her extended family means the world to us!”

“Priscila was excellent at ensuring my Lana had a great experience. From her outdoor activities, beach day, and play time it all contributed to Lana having a Great time. Priscila was awesome at providing pictures and video to update how my dog was doing. Thank you 👍”

“Kristoph was very good with my dog and I loved getting pictures and updates of him throughout the visit. Thank you so much and was never worried or concerned as we were away.”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. Jane took my big goofy 3 year old retriever for two weeks and kept him happy and entertained the whole time, even when he was being a big stubborn pain. She cleaned him up after romps in the mud, still took him to the park to play, and did it all with tremendous grace and professionalism. The reason I know this is that she sent pictures and videos regularly, and asked questions when things came up that she needed help solving. Jane welcomes the dogs into her house and makes them feel right at home. I cannot recommend Jane enough.”

“Maria is so AMAZING. I'd been looking for a new sitter on Rover and I'm SO HAPPY I found her! She was incredibly warm and welcoming during our meet n' greet and our pup LOVED her place! She has such a great space for dogs inside and out. I loved her setup so much! She was beyond accommodating for us (picking our pup up, working with our flight delays) and super flexible with our schedules and so easy to communicate with. I have a hard time leaving my pup behind when we go out of town, but I felt 150% comfortable with Maria. She was inquisitive of our dogs needs and I could just tell that she is a true animal lover and I felt like she loved my dog just as much as me. And we loved getting pics of our pup with her sweet lab Samson who is such a hoot! Not only is she a wonderful sitter, but I sort of want to be her best friend, too. Haha! My husband picked our dog up and met Maria for the first time and called me after to say "That woman is awesome! I REALLY LIKE HER!" Hahaha. So basically, Maria is the best ever and we all love her! There's no doubt we'll use her again the next time we go out of town! THANKS A MILLION, MARIA!”

“This was our first time having our pup stay outside of our home and Shannon was great! She sent us pictures and let us know he was loving his stay. We’re so glad to have found her.”

“Brooke is our go-to puppy sitter. I always look forward to her photos/videos. It’s like a professional photographer is capturing my pup’s best moments! And my puppy always comes back to us super happy - like she’s stayed with a family member who loves her. You can really tell Brooke loves animals, I fully trust her with my dog!”

“Kristina and Sean were great with our energetic pup, Barley! Barley was able to fit right into their daily walks and runs since they were already an active family. They also provided daily updates and pictures of their activities and were very responsive throughout the boarding.”

“So Glad we found Danae and family. Their dog is a very similar breed as our dog - super smart - and they really enjoyed having her and I felt totally comfortable leaving our dog with them. They are great with dog and I could tell our dog had a great time! We plan on using them again in the future.”

“Christy was great! Our first time with Rover and our original sitter didn’t show at our scheduled time and just left us hanging. Luckily, we found Christy who responded very quickly. Our 5 month old puppy had a great time on his first Rover stay. We received lots of video and photo updates. Thank you Christy!”
