I've lived with and cared for all manner of animals for the better part of 30 years now. I also previously worked at a dog boarding facility. I currently have two German shorthair pointers, Wade and Aurora as well as a cat, Bastilla.

When it comes to pet care in someone else's home the main thing for me is respect. Both in regards to the physical boundaries they set as well as their preferences in regards to pet care. Some pets are allowed on the furniture, or they have a very specific routine or schedule they follow. At the end of the day, I consider myself to be an extremely flexible and accommodating person in regards to caring for others' pets.

Jacob was great with our dogs! He was communicative, reliable, and very sweet with both of them. They can definitely be a handful around other dogs, and I really appreciated his patience and honesty about how the walk went. He took great care of them and kept me updated throughout. I would definitely recommend Jacob to other pet parents!

I hired Jacob to take care of my dog while I was away on a work trip. It couldn’t have gone better. Jacob sent lots of updates and pics and my dog clearly loved spending time with him. He also took great care of everything and left my place spotless.

Jacob and I met almost a decade ago while we were both working at a doggy boarding facility. He was amazing with all the dogs there and since then, he has watched my two senior dogs on multiple occasions. He is a natural animal person that even my shy pittie warmed up to immediately. I trust him completely with walking, feeding and staying over night with my animals 😊

Schedule
As a pet owner, I build my entire routine around my pets and their needs. More often than not if I'm leaving the house to run an errand it is somehow pet related.
