Pet care experience

Experienced Caregiver: Med-Savvy

I treat every pet like a member of my own family. Having grown up with both dogs and cats, animals have always been a central part of my life. Since college, I’ve specialized in giving rescue cats a loving home, while getting my "dog fix" by pet-sitting for friends and family of all breeds and sizes. I am uniquely qualified to handle pets with extra needs. My previous cat was diabetic, so I am highly comfortable administering insulin shots and oral medications. I’ve also managed medications for various dogs in my care. Beyond the basics, I’ve taken animal communication classes to help me connect with your pets on an intuitive level, ensuring they feel safe and understood. I can't wait to meet your furry companions!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

When I’m in your home, my top priority is maintaining your pet’s existing routine to ensure they feel safe and secure while you’re away. For dogs, this means sticking to their familiar walking routes, refreshing water bowls, and ensuring they get plenty of outdoor time and focused attention. For cats, I focus on keeping their environment clean by scooping litter boxes daily and engaging them with their favorite toys on their terms. I’m also highly diligent about home security—I double-check locks, bring in the mail, and always leave your space exactly as I found it. Whether it's administering precise medical doses or offering a reassuring cuddle, I treat your home and your pets with the same level of care and respect I give my own.

Tracy is the only Rover pet sitter I trust. The others have been less than acceptable. Thank you for always being professional and caring to my kitties. ❤️

Dog Walking • Oct 12, 2021

Tracy was great with our dog. She sent me photos and a short summary after every walk so I knew Dora was doing well. I will definitely work with Tracy again in the future! Recommend!

The Routine • Feeding Instructions: Amount of food, location of bowls, and where the "hidden" treat stash is kept! • Walk/Potty Schedule: Preferred routes, leash/harness location, and how they react to other dogs/squirrels on walks. • The "Litter" Situation: Location of the box, scoop, and disposal bags. Personality Quirks • Hiding Spots: Where does your cat go when they’re "invisible"? • Comfort Items: A favorite toy, a specific blanket, or a "calming" radio station they like. • Triggers: Are they scared of thunderstorms, vacuum cleaners, or the mail carrier? Health & Meds • Medication Schedule: Exact dosages, timing, and your "pro-tip" for administering them (e.g., "hide the pill in a piece of cheese"). • Medical History: Any known allergies, joint issues, or past seizures I should be aware of.
