Larger dogs would not fit through the doggy door but since I'm home for most of the day, I will be able to provide outside access whenever needed. I have one small dog name Leo who is 9 years old. He is a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. He is mellow and prefers to keep to himself. I can separate Leo from your dog if needed! Your pup's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to leave your pup with someone you can trust, and I do everything I can to create a calm, safe, and loving environment. About: I am an adult ICU travel nurse who misses her family dogs + would love to care for yours like I would for my own! Let me know how you and your fur baby like to do things and I will follow along! I will ensure your pup has the best time and take lots of good pictures to prove it (cute, derpy, cool, etc). I also have experience administering oral meds and subcutaneous injections, so rest assured they will get whatever they need. I’m currently taking a short break from bedside nursing, so have lots of free time to walk your dogs or do a drop in visit or cat sit In your home, I will ensure there isn’t anything dangerous your pet could be exposed to. I would make sure water bowls and food bowls are clean. I will even clean the water bowl if there is a separate sponge (I’ll make sure to communicate if that is okay too!). I’ll make sure they get lots of love and attention while I’m there too!

About: I've had pets my whole life and I love ALL animals. I think it all started when my parents adopted a kitten when I was six and I would dress up the kitty in doll clothes and take her everywhere she was allowed to go! I always considered myself a cat-person, but when my mom brought home a puppy from a coworker many years ago, I took care of him like he was my own and sure enough he became my dog! I currently own one dog, two cats and a leopard gecko and they certainly make life more interesting with their individual personalities. My family has always called me the "animal-lover" because I'm the one who would frequently bring home animals that needed to be re-homed. I could never say no to anyone who asked if I could take in an animal, and if I couldn't keep them, then I would try to find someone else who could. I have much experience walking friend's, relative's, and coworker's dogs when they were on vacation. My most recent experience, for the past few years, has been dog-sitting a coworker's massive-sized Goldendoodle when he leaves town for Thanksgiving and other holidays. I give him food and water, take him out for long walks around his area and provide exercise at the park playing fetch and running around. I also fostered a sweet senior Pomeranian for a lady who was in the hospital a couple years ago and I've walked and dog-sat for many friend's over the years. People always ask me for petcare needs because they know I love animals, they trust me, and I don't have kids so they know I'm usually available. These were all good experiences that enriched my life and helped me know how to handle different pet situations. It makes me feel good knowing that I am helping either a dog get outside to relieve itself and feel the warmth of the sun or spend quality time with a cat while its person is away. I'm currently working part-time on a random schedule so I have plenty of availability to take dogs out for walks, check in on them for potty breaks, and provide stimulation and exercise. I live in a townhouse with a small backyard and a really high fence that is very secure for pets. I have a few different sized kennels to crate dogs who are most comfortable this way. There is plenty of room for pets to stay and pet gates throughout the house when needed to fence off certain areas or separate pets if needed.
