About: I’ve always had a dog and have taken care of family and friends’ dogs of all different ages, ranging from puppies to senior dogs. I love making dogs feel loved when their owners are away on trips. I go to school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the day, but I am available during the evenings. Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays I am available anytime to care for your pet! I provide care in my clients' homes, where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. Whether I'm house sitting, stopping by for drop-in visits, or taking dogs on walks, I always follow each owner's instructions and keep their pet's normal routine. I make safety a top priority by ensuring doors and gates are secure, and using provided leashes and harnesses during walks. I provide fresh water, meals, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention to ensure they’re not only cared for but feel loved. I also treat every client's home with care and respect, keep the space clean, and provide regular updates with messages and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away.

“Erin is very sweet and I can tell how much she loves all animals. She was very prompt and sent me lots of pictures of my dog's walk! I look forward to having her walk Murphy again!”

About: What sets me apart? It starts with over 25 years of experience and a heart that’s been full of tail wags, happy barks, and puppy kisses for as long as I can remember. I’ve shared my life with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—and I know that every pup is unique, with their own quirks, routines, and needs. That’s exactly how I treat them. From energetic puppies who need structure and play, to seniors who just want a comfy place to rest and someone to move at their pace, I’ve cared for them all. I have hands-on experience with whelping, administering medications (pills, drops, and injections), and tailoring meals to special diets—whether it’s raw, home-cooked, or kibble with a side of cheese bribes. But beyond the to-dos, I deeply understand dog behavior and body language. I can spot when a dog’s anxious, when they need space, or when they’re saying “more belly rubs, please.” I’ll never rush a nervous pup or overlook the needs of a high-energy one—I meet every dog with patience, respect, and love. Whether it’s a long walk, a quiet cuddle, a game of fetch, or simply sitting together while they snooze, I’m here to give your dog the kind of care that feels like home. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease, knowing your best friend is safe, happy, and genuinely loved while you're away. I work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, so at this time I can provide drop-in visits after 4pm. However, I am available every other Monday at anytime (next Monday off is May 19th). But the weekends are all mine! I’m available all day to spend quality time with your pet. Whether it’s a fun trip to the dog beach, a scenic hike, or simply a quiet visit to keep your family member company, I’ll tailor the time to what they enjoy most. Your pet will always get the care, attention, and love they need—every day of the week. When I care for pets, it’s always in the comfort of your home—where they feel most secure and relaxed. I believe in keeping their routine as normal as possible and following your instructions to the letter, because no one knows your pet better than you do. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. From double-checking doors and gates to making sure leashes are secure and environments are calm, I’m attentive to every detail. I take the time to understand your pet’s likes, dislikes, and boundaries so they feel safe and respected. I’m also here to support you as the pet parent. I stay responsive, communicative, and always open to feedback—because trust goes both ways, and your peace of mind matters just as much as your pet’s comfort.
“Heather is the best! We adopted another dog and Heather is now taking care of both of our dogs. She made time for another meet and greet to learn about their routines. Deep appreciation for Heather!”

About: I love dogs and cats! I own one of each, and have fostered about forty. I have learned great leash-training skills, and behavior management of fearful dogs to help them feel more comfortable. I am fit and enjoy exercise, so I am happy to take your dog on long walks or even hikes! I can also administer treats on a walk if a dog needs some leash-training. Most importantly, I will treat your pup with kindness and affection. I am a teacher, so I have a lot of availability during the summer and holidays. For care in my home, I only live about five minutes from work, making it easy for me to check on animals during the day. For care in your home, I bring my own dog with me overnight. She is good with other animals. I am currently home full time for the summer. I spend a lot of time outside and love to take dogs for walks. I am also happy to chill inside and relax and give scritches. In my home, I have a secure fenced yard outside and a large crate available inside. At others’ homes I am respectful of my surroundings and treat all animals and property with great care.
“John was great with walking our dogs, our Aussie loves the long walks. Always very tired right after. John is very accommodating and very responsive. Even brought our packages inside the house for us. Will definitely book again in the future.”

So grateful for the care for Luca, her patience and kindness with my dogs needs. She was easy to work with and was so flexible when there were some bumps in the process due to my fault not having the right directions on the app and leaving a crappy door key. She handled everything with such patience. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Aubrey is great! She’s walked our dog on multiple occasions and she’s always very punctual and professional. Our dog loves walking with her and it’s evident when he comes back that he has a great time! We could not recommend her enough, we’re looking forward to continuing to work with her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
