About: What sets me apart is that I’ve been around dogs pretty much my entire life. I grew up with two German Shepherds and learned early on how much attention, patience, and responsibility dogs—especially larger breeds—require. Even though I don’t currently have dogs of my own as a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student, I’ve continued caring for dogs I know well. I’ve looked after my friend’s Akita and my uncle’s Maltese during extended trips, so I’m comfortable adjusting to different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Right now, I’m focusing on dog walking only since my home is undergoing renovations. I’m doing Rover alongside school, which means I take each walk seriously, show up on time, and genuinely appreciate the opportunity to care for your dog while also supporting myself through grad school. Your dog will always get my full attention, a safe walk, and plenty of care. I am a full-time second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student in school Monday-Thursday, so my availability is typically Friday-Sunday. I will try to keep my Rover calendar up to date and communicate clearly ahead of time so there are no surprises. Dog walking fits naturally into my routine as a way to stay active, take study breaks, and support myself during grad school, while giving your dog the attention and care they deserve. Since I’m currently offering dog walking only, my focus is on keeping your dog safe, comfortable, and secure while out of the home. I follow your instructions closely regarding leashes, harnesses, walking routes, pace, and any behavior considerations. I always use proper leash control, avoid unsafe situations (off-leash areas, aggressive dogs, extreme weather), and stay aware of my surroundings at all times. If I’m entering your home to pick up or return your dog, I treat your space with respect, locking doors, following entry instructions, and ensuring your dog is safely secured before leaving. I never rush walks and adjust each outing to your dog’s energy level, temperament, and comfort. Clear communication is important to me, so you’ll receive updates after each walk so you know how your dog did. Your dog’s safety and your trust are my top priorities on every walk.

I've never let anyone but family walk my dog but since we've had a baby I needed extra help so we set up recurring weekly walks to make sure Mango has the attention she needs. Mango has arthritis and can be leash aggressive because she was attacked by dogs a while ago so Christina met with us so we could show her how to walk her in a way that keeps her safe. She brought her partner too so that in the event she couldn't walk her, he can help as a backup. Christina always gives us a heads up when she is on the way and arrives on time, communicates well with how Mango did on the walk and brings her back on time. Have had a cat of my own for 6 years, and I've constantly looked after my sister's dog since he was a puppy. I was the animal-obsessed one in my family, constantly taking in strays. I am a student at a University and have class on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. However, I am free on those days after 5 pm. On Monday, Wednesday, and the weekend. I am free at any hour. I give my full attention to the animal when I am with them and treat them as my own. I am always sure the animal is comfortable before anything. I love to treat other people's pets as my own, and know when to give them their space. Am respectful of others' homes and careful not to disturb space.
