“Our two dogs were happy and worn out after a half-hour walk with Belinda. She's scheduled to dog sit for us in a few weeks, and we're very confident she'll take great care of them.”

About: I grew up in the small town of Valley Center and have been around animals all of my life. From dogs and cats to horses and sheep, I have worked with them all. I love animals of all sizes and would love to show care and love for your animal when you need it. I have raised puppies and had senior dogs. Worked with all types of livestock. I was in FFA in high school and raised cattle and sheep and was an officer. I work a job 5 days a week but will work around my main job. I start that job early at 5 am, so I'm open to early afternoons and evenings. Can do very early if needed, and closer to on my way to work. I will treat everyone's home like my own or like my best friends or sisters home. every pet will be treated as my own and get to know them so we both can be safe and happy.
“Jill has been great with my 3 dogs. My youngest dog, Marley, was a little stand-offish at first. Jill was patient and was able to take him on his walks. They all enjoy getting out with Jill. She is responsive, flexible, and professional. I highly recommend Jill to take care of and walk your pets.”

“Stephanie was great with Zoro. Stephanie communicated well each day and was flexible with the times. I would definitely rebook again with Stephanie. The last day after the walk was over, Zoro jumped into the car with Stephanie to go for another walk. Thank you, Stephanie!”

About: Ive taken care of dogs whether its my own and friends or neighbors. I can walk, feed, bathe ultimately any kind of care a dog needs I can di. I play soccer most days of the week usually during 6-8 but my schedule does change from time to time. I also have school but I am capable of taking care of dogs at anytime, I will work to be flexible for your dogs needs. At my clinets homes I make sure they always have fresh water, go out to use the restroom multiple times a day, that they are always fed. I am good at making sure a dog is comfortable and not stressed out about any situation.

“We sure are pleased with Jaimee’s services. She has a wonderful calm and friendly nature, her love of all manner of critters shines forth. Our dog Bentley takes a short while to warm up to someone, and she handled that like the professional she is. Once he warmed up to her, and boy did he, then he tried testing her - like jumping on the couch next to her, and she immediately gave him the command “Off!” And he hesitated she reached for a squirt bottle and he immediately obeyed (we had mentioned this in our initial intro and she retained it word for word). She then took him for a walk and immediately picked up on his behaviors and signals (that is, knowing when he was testing her and when he was ready to go home). Jaimee handled him with firmness and love knowing when to apply which We are so comfortable trusting her and her reliability is the real cream of it all. She is punctual, thorough, and kind - and Bentley really enjoys her.”

About: Being the mother of my own fur-child in the past, I know how much your pets mean to your family. I am willing to help with frequent walks, feeding, play and activities and also vacation pet sitting. I adore all dogs ... breeds, size, age or medical condition doesn't matter. Since I haven't adopted another dog since mine passed over the rainbow bridge last year, I take great joy in taking care of other peoples dogs to fill that space only a puppy can fill. I'll be their "Aunt Holly"! And I promise I will take care of them like they are my own. My day job is done remotely, so I'm able to work from wherever I'm at during the day... even at your home with your pups as my assistants. We will be able to take our breaks outside or go for a walk or even play together. My time is very flexible.

I work full time, but I am happy to help whenever Im not working! Usually work weekends and off in the middle of the week. I have a fenced back yard, and a friendly cat that doesn’t mind company. Lots of hiking and parks nearby that I already walk myself.

About: I have lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats, and a large variety of other pets! I am comfortable with feeding, fresh water, habitat cleaning, exercise, enrichment, safe handling, and following detailed care instructions. I also studied animal behavior and animal evolution at UC San Diego and completed a supervised animal behavior project. I am patient, dependable, and attentive to changes in appetite, energy, mobility, and behavior. I treat every pet according to their individual routine, comfort level, and personality. I provide drop-in pet care in clients’ homes and can work around each pet’s established routine. I also monitor appetite, energy, litter box use, and behavior for any noticeable changes.
About: Hello 👋🏻 My name is Kaylee and I’ve been a professional pet sitter for about 5 years now. Over the course of those 5 years I’ve cared for all of the following animals: dogs, cats, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, lizards, hamsters, rabbits and horses. I’m in college getting an animal science degree and I’ve worked with a wide age range of animals. From puppies all the way to senior dogs and kittens all the way to elderly cats. *please know that while my listed prices are accurate additional surcharges may apply. (All prices will be disclosed before booking) I have a lot of availability for pet care in my schedule, I do have college classes I must attend and the occasional appointment with these being non-negotiable blocks of time I must leave the clients home to attend (which will be discussed ahead of time). However aside from that I have a plethora of time available to dedicate solely to your pet(s). *jobs that are “constant care” and/or have strict rules regarding how long the pet(s) can be left alone WILL incur a surge charge. I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).
About: Growing up with dogs and missing my own, I am looking to help keep dogs happy, healthy and loved by walking, hiking, play and overnights care. My kids and I like to travel and understand how hard traveling can be when you can’t take them with you. I work full time, but will soon be off for the summer. I also have most weekends free and can drop in during my lunch if close to work. I have a great dog park near our place but prefer trails. Dogs that stay with my kids and I will be well loved and treated like family. We are a dog family but aren’t ready for another pup yet. I will be the one caring for your pet, but my kids will help give your pet lots of love, attention and belly rubs.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Rincon. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Rincon.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
