About: I recently took a break from dog sitting to focus on caring for my baby. Now that things have settled into a routine, I'm excited to start accepting bookings again! I have 6+ years dog-sitting experience with dogs of many different sizes and temperaments. Personally I have a 85 pound German Shepherd mix, Turbo, a 40 pound labradoodle, Maple, and an 80 pound Rottie/GSD mix named Tater. I thoroughly enjoy playing with them everyday and have learned many training techniques from raising them. I have a great deal of experience caring for a highly allergic and anxious dog. I understand the helplessness that can often come with trying to find a treatment that works. If your dog has allergies/skin issues, or any other special needs, I'm more than happy to help. Rest assured your dog will be given the love and attention they need to feel comfortable in my home. We do have 1 cat (named Sesame) who would prefer to be left alone. If your dog is very reactive around cats this will not be a good fit. I am a stay- at- home mom and my husband works from home, so we can offer a great amount of flexibility with drop-off and pick-up times. Your dog will be supervised 24/7 when in my care. I have a large (2.3 acre), fully-fenced backyard for optimal play! I have three friendly dogs who would love to show your dog all the best sniff spots. We also love going on walks, playing fetch, taking naps, and playing "find it." I've taken a dog CPR class to better understand the warning signs of a dog in distress, and what actions to take in an emergency. About: I have had pets for most of my life. My family and I currently have one very playful dog, two cats and a bearded dragon. I, along with my family, have cared for family, friends and neighbors pets for several years now. I work from home, usually only leaving during the day for a few minutes in the afternoon for school pickups (most days I take my dog with me) or the occasional quick errand. I’m trained in pet first aid and CPR, can handle oral and injected medications, and have experience with senior animals and pets with special needs. Whatever your pet needs, I’ll show up for them. I know leaving your pet with someone new can feel hard. I just want you to feel at ease — and I want your animal to feel loved while you’re gone. I’m currently studying psychology online, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet real attention. I’m available for boarding on weekdays and weekends, and I offer drop-in visits and walks in the morning or afternoon — any day of the week. Your pet is welcome to stay in my home, where everything is calm, clean, and safe. I can also come to your home if that’s what’s most comfortable for your pet. Either way, I’m respectful of their routine and give them plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I always clean up after myself and make sure your animal feels at ease the whole time you’re away.
