About: I recently moved here from Utah, where I volunteered at Best Friend’s Animal Society. This gave me experience in handling dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also received training on several different dog handling related topics, including recognizing when dogs are stressed and what they need in those situations. I completed the training and competencies for both beginner and intermediate level dogs at Best Friend’s. I am an absolute dog lover at heart, from a very young age. Apart from volunteering at Best Friend’s, I would also regularly dog sit for different friends and co-workers. I currently work full time as a RN, but my 12 hour shifts give me flexibility to care for pets on my days off during the week and on weekends. I certainly recognize that pets are a part of the family, and promise to treat your dogs as if they were my own. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
