About: As a former dog owner and cat owner I understand how important it is to find a reliable and caring sitter. I am very responsible and will take excellent care of your pet. I live in the Scripps Ranch area close to Lake Miramar. I work from home, and I currently have good availability for taking care of your pet. Looking forward to working with you and your dog :)! Things to know regarding onboarding at my place: we have a cat named Pinky, we live close to parks, Miramar Lake, and numerous trails :)

About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals, particularly dogs. I’ve had experience caring for dogs at a very young age, which included handling mom and pups at pregnancy, to seniors. Walking and bathing all sizes and ages. I’m now a mother to a Cockapoo mix who rules my world! He goes everywhere with me, shopping, long walks, relative’s, running events, even vacations. I am an active individual who will include your dog on these adventures as well. Being with me, I plan to get them tired by having fun. I’m currently working part time remotely, which gives me the ability to surround myself with my favorite friends. My availability is flexible and I am willing to care for your pups on weekends or holidays. One things for sure, I will give your dogs the same love and affection as if it were mine. Can’t wait to meet them(: I work remotely M-F, which allows me to have flexibility for your pup. My work hours are typically from 9am - 3:30pm, but I have breaks in between. I will be able to take your pup for constant potty breaks/walks and feedings. If you prefer, dog park and beach visits can be frequent. I am in a 1,100sqft apartment on the third floor. Our complex is extremely dog friendly and even has a small dog park with a washing station. I live with my fiance and our son Buddy. Buddy is always anxious and happy to meet new friends, but also understands the barrier of privacy. He is trained and should not be of any issue at all. It actually helps his anxiety to have a furry friend around sometimes. Our community has a nice long trail along Miramar reservoir, but we also have different routes throughout the neighborhood if you prefer. Our house hold is pretty quiet, with no kids. Dog YouTube can be an option for anxious pups. Staying active outside or napping inside, whatever your dog is feeling, we will do just that! (:
“I can't say enough good things about my dog walker! She has been an absolute lifesaver. Always showing up with a positive attitude, she’s proactive, reliable, and genuinely caring. My pup is definitely a handful—she’s dog reactive and not the easiest to manage—but that’s never been an issue. She handles her with so much patience, skill, and understanding. I especially appreciate the photo updates and messages after walks—it gives me so much peace of mind during the day. It’s clear she really gets dogs and loves what she does. I’m so grateful for her help and feel lucky to have found someone so trustworthy and kind. Highly recommend!”

“Janet takes such great care of my dogs and makes it so much easier to be away from them. She’s attentive, patient, communicative, and my dogs absolutely love her. They always get plenty of exercise, attention, and quality care, and are happy and relaxed when I get home. I absolutely trust Janet with my pets and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker or sitter!”

“Bella is an allstar! Our pup Jaxson quickly warmed up to her which makes leaving him so much easier. We know he is in good hands when Bella is taking care of him. She always sends adorable pictures and notes in his report card.”

“Cristal was on time and gave an update on Trunks the whole way through his walks. Trunks had a great time and would definitely recommend as her service went beyond my expectations.”

I love taking care of pets and being able to give the owners the peace of mind that they’re in good hands! Im a recent college graduate who’s tired of working his soulless job in retail. I would rather take care and play with pets so I’m pretty much available all week except for Fridays 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Miramar
Cristal was the first dog walker we’ve ever used for Stella. Upon arrival, she asked questions about Stella that reassured me that she read her profile in detail. Our dog came home looking like she had a great time and exhausted, which is a successful dog walk for us! I would without a doubt have Cristal walk Stella again.

Akanksha was such an attentive dog walker. She really takes the time to get to know our dog's personality. She spent time playing fetch with her and really going above and beyond to keep our dog happy. Akanksha also paid careful attention to our preferences and was very respectful in our home. I would highly recommend Akanksha!

Needing to find someone on short-notice, Michelle came through with the assist! First time booking with her, yet already can sense the reliability, communication and care that gives peace of mind when having to be away. Elli and I both really appreciate you taking her out for her midday potty break - thanks again!

I’ve been using Gehrig as my dog sitter for the past few years, and I honestly couldn’t ask for someone more dependable and caring. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my dog is not only well taken care of, but genuinely happy while I’m away. Gehrig is attentive, responsible, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. On top of that, he also does an excellent job with house sitting. I always come back to a clean, well-kept home, which makes traveling so much less stressful. It’s rare to find someone who is both trustworthy and consistently goes above and beyond, but Gehrig absolutely does. I highly recommend Gehrig to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and professional pet sitter!

Gabi is absolutely wonderful caring for our pets. She walks our dog, Baby J, and also keeps an eye on our two cats, and we always feel completely at ease knowing they are in her care. Baby J clearly adores her, and it’s obvious that Gabi genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. She is dependable, communicative, and attentive to the little details that matter. It’s such a relief to have someone we trust who takes such excellent care of our pets. I highly recommend Gabi to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter or dog walker.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
