An owner's kind of love
As an only child, I grew up with animals as my siblings until I left for college. As for my husband, Chris, he has always had a love for animals, but was never allowed to keep one growing up. After some time on Rover, a perfect situation of abandoned backyard kittens from our hometown, and a Facebook rehoming page scroll-- we are now the parents to two cats and a dog. Over the years, especially prior to becoming pet parents-- professors, colleagues, and friends, have entrusted our friendly, organized, professional personalities to look after their animal(s) and home for days to weeks at a time. We care for your animal(s) and home as if it was our own. Each animal is unique and we want your pet to feel like you never left with consistent teachings and affection. We have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and rabbits: shy, friendly, needing oral medications, eye drops, and injections. We truly enjoy animals and would love to meet you and your animal(s).

Cristal was the first dog walker we’ve ever used for Stella. Upon arrival, she asked questions about Stella that reassured me that she read her profile in detail. Our dog came home looking like she had a great time and exhausted, which is a successful dog walk for us! I would without a doubt have Cristal walk Stella again.
We continue to be a repeat booker! Always taking such great care of our 2 cats and accommodating their needs (one cat is now a picky eater). We know our babies are in great care while we are away.
Cristal took wonderful care of our two cats during our vacation! She was sweet to them from the start, very attentive and played with them a lot. She kept us updated with details for every visit and was very responsive. I will reach out to her next time we’re out of town, and recommend you do the same!
Cristal was great with our two kitties! She gave lots of love to our more outgoing cat and always made sure she laid eyes on our more shy cat and got a photo of him. She was easy to communicate with and left our house in great shape after her drop ins. Will definitely being using her services again in the future!
Cristal did an excellent job checking in on our cats while we were on vacation. She went out of her way to clean up after their messes and make sure they're doing alright. I would be happy to book her again next time we are out of town.
I came into a super unfortunate situation where a family member who committed to watching Benadryl over thanksgiving weekend ended up not showing up any more after we had already left town. Cristal came to the rescue, offering to head over to my place ASAP. The apartment was a mess when she showed up due to the aforementioned family member. We were able to work together to locate all the stuff she would need and she got to it! She was amazing with Benny, and even got her to interact. Benny is super shy and hates everyone but she warned up to Cristal! Cristal was able to work with Bennys pickiness about her wet food, trying different things each day with my approval to try and encourage her to eat it. I’m the type of person who’s super anxious about my cat and I felt really at ease knowing that a responsible person who loves animals was able to watch over her. I would 1000% recommend Cristal to anyone and, I hope that we will be able to hire her for many many times to come!

Schedule
I work a various scheduled 3-day week as a registered nurse and on my days off enjoy providing pet care or volunteering at the San Diego Humane Society. If booked on a week day, I am primarily the person caring for your pet(s). If booked on a weekend, it is my husband and I caring for your pet(s). However, if I am working on the weekend, my husband who loves animals will primarily care for your pet(s)--you will know ahead of time.
