“We had such a great experience with Calynne! She took the time to stop by for a preview visit beforehand to make sure she and our pup were a good match, which I really appreciated. It made us feel immediately comfortable and confident that he would be in great hands. During her visit she was patient, attentive, and gave him so much love — even leaving him a few treats before heading out. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she works with. We’re so grateful for her time and care, and will absolutely be booking her again!”

“Kairi is absolutely in love with Martha and she's been a dream to work with. Attentive and available, she checks in and is great at staying on time or asking questions when needed. Martha takes directions really well and communicates effectively. Plus my 2-year-old Siberian Husky Kairi is always thrilled to see Martha and go for a walk. We are absolutely regulars now!”

About: I have been caring for pets my whole life. Within the last few years I have worked for a dog walking company named "WAG". I would walk dogs, house sit, and occasionally board dogs. I have also watched plenty of pets for friends and family over the years. Through rover I would love to walk your dog, sit for them at your house, or board them at mine depending on your preference. I have live in a townhouse with a small back area with turf and an upstairs patio. The complex has plenty of grass for potty breaks as well. I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am very comfortable with every breed and every size of dog. Many potty breaks will be given along with a lot of pets and attention. I love spoiling dogs and I can't wait to meet you and your fury friend! I work 10 days a month so I have plenty of free time to walk your pet and give them all of the attention they deserve. We have a small back patio with some turf for your pup to go potty and get fresh air. When we leave the pets will be inside with all of the doors locked. They will be free to roam the living room area. If you crate your dog I am happy to accommodate for that.

“Justine is great 👍. Hoppy doesn't always like to walk when it's warm outside so she will play with her in the house. She's very attentive to Hoppy's needs. We are sad that she moved out of Long Beach, she will be missed.”

About: I have been taking care of pets for about 10 years coming from personal, family, and friends. I currently live with 2 dogs and a bunny! I do my best to make sure all animals are loved and feel at home. Im currently a college student home for the summer so I am pretty available all throughout the day. I don’t have any other job so pet care is my first responsibility. Ideally I would not pet sit at my own home due to my other animals and small living space but am free and open to pet care at the owners home!
About: I have 2 years of dog sitting experience, including caring for dogs of different sizes and energy levels. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own. I also have experience house sitting and serving with high school students at my church, which has strengthened my patience, communication, and responsibility—qualities I bring to every pet care job. Whether your pet needs playtime, a calm presence, or just someone to stick to their routine, I’m here to help! I’m currently committed to flight school. My schedule is different everyday. Sometimes I’m flying, sometimes my event gets canceled. My schedule for the next day comes out 3pm the day before, so planning other activities is pretty spontaneous. But I want something I can do on the side that’s flexible and financially rewarding so that I can save money to pay off my student loans, invest, and take my girlfriend on some dates! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their routines closely to help pets feel safe and comfortable. I keep the environment clean, calm, and secure—always double-checking doors, gates, and food instructions. During walks, I stay alert and prioritize the dog’s safety, using secure leashes and avoiding risky situations.

I have experience with puppies and senior pets, including basic training support, structured routines, gentle senior care, and medication reminders when needed. I focus on keeping your pet’s routine consistent and stress-free, and I always treat them like my own. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos so you can feel confident they’re happy and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I build my schedule around feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest. I make sure pets stay on their normal routine as much as possible and get consistent attention throughout the day. Living near a lake and a grass area in my apartment complex also makes it easy to provide regular exercise and outdoor time. In my home, pets are cared for in a calm, clean, and safe apartment environment with plenty of attention and structure. I live right next to a lake and have access to a grass field within my apartment complex, which is great for regular walks, potty breaks, and exercise. We love Bobbie! She walks our dog Coco twice a week. She is lovely, reliable and proactive. On a few occasions when the weather forecast has been for rain she checks in ahead of time to confirm if Coco will still want a walk. Coco gets so excited when she sees her and has lots of fun with Bobbie. Could not recommend more highly!

Andrew is awesome! He’s such a fast walker so when he takes my dog on a walk it’s a WALK. My high energy pup always gets at least 2.5 miles in with Andrew and it helps so much on days that I am out of town. Andrew is also very detailed in his reports, responsive, and a pleasure work with

Matt is a dog whisperer! He did a fantastic job walking our 75-pound pit mix, Rosie, for an hour each morning for 8 days. He was very punctual, great at dealing with Rosie’s habit of scrounging for food and her dog reactivity. He also took the sweetest photos for Rosie’s walk report cards. We will absolutely book Matt again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
