“We appreciate Calynne! She is friendly, reliable, communicative and super capable. We have a large and active pup who loves her long walks, and Calynne comes over and handles it like a pro - and our pup took to her immediately like a member of the family.”

About: I recently moved to the United States from another country and am currently studying English. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve had both dogs and cats and truly understand how much they mean to their families. Back home, I have a senior Yorkshire Terrier who is 17 years old and still in good shape and decent health for her age. Caring for her has given me a lot of experience with senior dogs, patience, and gentle attention. I know how important routine, comfort, and love are. Being away from my own dog makes caring for other pets even more special to me. I treat every animal as if they were my own. I'm retired and studying part-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and lots of time to spend walking, playing, and giving pets attention they deserve. I live in an apartment with a secure building and quite environment. My home is calm, clean, and safe. I ensure regular walks, playtime, and supervision so pets stay comfortable and well cared for.

I have always been the person to text or call whenever my family and friends needed a pet sitter. I will be more than glad and grateful to take care of yours! Your pets will be treated with quality care and respect just as how I would want to be treated. I’ve never missed a time of not being able to pet sit. Watching pets makes me so happy! I am a full time college student but my schedule is super flexible! I am not working so I take pet sitting as my job! I would love to take care of your furry friends! I prefer to take care of peoples pets in their own home so that their pet is comfortable in its own environment. From experience, I feel like pets are more happier in their own homes!
“Krista is so communicative, sends updates and pictures. She does great with our pup and I feel at ease knowing she’s taking care of him while I’m at work! We’ve used her multiple times and plan to continue doing so!”

“Adrian was amazing! I needed a walk for my dog ASAP and Adrian was quick to reply! I am so thankful for her help. She took great care of my dog. I will defiantly be rescheduling with her again.”

About: What sets me apart from other pet owners and sitters is that I had to teach my dog sign language since he was born deaf I’m self employed so my work schedule is ideal for this and those needing a regular dog walking service. Morning, afternoon, or evening all work for me My dog at home has his own carrier and frequently travels with me, but at home he has freedom to roam as he pleases and enjoys walking around in our neighborhood
“Andrew has been amazing for our two dogs! When he says he can handle high energy dogs he truly means it! Our dogs go running with him during the week, and I’ve never seen them so happy. He communicates well and often, and has been very accommodating. 1000% recommend and will continue to ask him to take care of our pups!”

“Justine is great 👍. Hoppy doesn't always like to walk when it's warm outside so she will play with her in the house. She's very attentive to Hoppy's needs. We are sad that she moved out of Long Beach, she will be missed.”

“Samantha is great! She has watched our pets a few times and each time she comes by our dogs happily run up to her. She is communicative and quick to respond and helped us out with some last minute dog walk requests. We will definitely continue to use her when we leave town!”

About: I have decades of experience with all animals - dogs, cats, reptiles, fish - my own and caring for others. I’m a very easy going and positive person. I prioritize consistency, safety, and, most importantly, lots of fun! *I am new to Rover and I’m happy to provide references from families I’ve worked with over the years. I recently moved back to San Diego, after 20 years in Northern CA where I worked in early childhood education. I’m enjoying getting to know this area again. I have one sweet, dog-loving pup named Osito. I’ve had him since he was 4 months old, he’s a well trained and funny little gentleman. Osito has grown up with cats, dogs, a rabbit and a turtle. He goes many places with me and he also has another parent to care for him while I’m out. We also have a chill, shy cat (BB). My daily schedule is flexible for walks, visits, and overnights. Other than school I also help my mom out, cooking her meals throughout the week (I love to cook!) and doing housework when needed. I work with all ages and personalities. From puppies and kittens to seniors, the wild ones, the shy and anxious ones, I’ve got you covered. Once I hear a little about your critter, I will approach accordingly to build trust and let my intuition guide us further. I also have experience administering medication and preparing meals. I can serve up delicious kibble or follow your pet’s raw food diet.

Matt is a dog whisperer! He did a fantastic job walking our 75-pound pit mix, Rosie, for an hour each morning for 8 days. He was very punctual, great at dealing with Rosie’s habit of scrounging for food and her dog reactivity. He also took the sweetest photos for Rosie’s walk report cards. We will absolutely book Matt again!!

I desperately needed a dog walker for the day due to a last minute cancellation, and Jingchun was very quick to respond and was also very reliable too! She did an amazing job caring for my pup and provided a ton of pics and videos to ensure my pup was in good hands. I will definitely use her again & highly recommend her to everyone!

Hannah is a kind and caring dog walker. Not only did Hannah take good care of my brother's Lab Bailey, she was instrumental in getting Bailey placed in a good foster home while my brother recovers from his recent illness. I would not hesitate to use Hannah's services again!
Stephanie has been an amazing dog walker/companion for my pup while I’m at work. She’s been walking my baby Nahua consistently for about a month now. When I first found her on Rover she was kind enough to take time out of her day for a meet and greet . My baby is usually very apprehensive to meet people and does not trust easily. But after only 1 walk she now gets excited to see her. Stephanie has an electric and upbeat energy about her. She responds promptly, makes sure to keep me updated with multiple photos and detailed updates about their walks together . She is consistent, reliable, dedicated and goes above and beyond to care for my pup. More often that not she even extends the walk to give my baby more time outdoors. I would highly recommend her to care for your four legged children 🦮🐾. I hope Stephanie can continue to pencil us in for her services for a long time to come.
