About: I've watched my families dogs for years and have a dog of my own! She is a toy poodle and is full of energy and love. She is currently visiting family and we miss her very much. I am currently unemployed, so have lots of time to tend to your babies! Mainly looking to do dog walking, occasional drop in visits and if things work out well also boarding in my home! Im very flexible with days and times. So lets chat and work something out! I have a fenced in backyard and am able to crate your dogs if necessary. Whatever you do in your home can easily be mimicked in mine.

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and genuinely love being around animals. My dog, Bearra, a Lab and German Shepherd mix, recently passed away after living an amazing 15.5 years. She was such a huge part of my life and taught me how important patience, love, exercise, and attentive care are for pets at every stage of life. As a teacher on summer break, I’m looking forward to spending more time outside doing something I truly enjoy, caring for and spending time with dogs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I would love the opportunity to provide dependable, caring, and attentive service for both you and your dog. I am a teacher on summer break, so I currently have a very flexible schedule with my days, evenings, and weekends available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I enjoy being active and outside, so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine and gives me the opportunity to spend time doing something I genuinely love. While I do not have a private yard, my complex has safe grassy areas for walks and bathroom breaks, and I enjoy taking dogs on walks around Coronado, Seaport Village, and Miramar Reservoir. I treat pets like family, so they are welcome on the furniture and will receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and care while they are with me.
About: I have taken care of my family's pets for a decade, including senior cats and puppies. For a few months now I have been caring for two birds. I have full availability, and open holidays too. About: Hi, I’m Tami! I have 10+ years of experience caring for pets, which I truly enjoy. I’m dedicated to providing animals with the best care, giving them love, attention, and ensuring they feel comfortable and happy. Joining Rover has been a wonderful opportunity to connect with more furry friends, and I’d love the chance to care for your pet as if they were my own! ❤️ I have a very flexible schedule. I also work with Amazon delivery, so Rover is a lovely job I do as a side. Text me and we arrange the best time and dates for you. At the moment, I don’t care for pets in my own home. However, when staying at someone else’s place, I always ask if there’s anything important I need to know or any special instructions to keep in mind. I make sure to stay within the areas the owner allows and ask where the pet’s food, treats, and supplies are, as well as the feeding schedule. I also bring my own food, depending on how long I’ll be there.
“We had a wonderful experience with Samantha and Leighland walking Arlo, my 1 year old German shepherd, twice a day while I was out of the country for a couple of weeks. This was my first time leaving one of my dogs with someone new so was a little hesitant searching for a new walker so but I’m really glad that I chose them! The updates they sent we’re very comforting and made me feel that my boy was being very well taken care of. I cannot recommend them highly enough! I will definitely be a regular client.”

About: My name is Tara, and I am a nurse by day. I have two cats that are my children, and am always looking to love on other fur babies. I am available to walk dogs, do drop in visits, house-sit animals in a client's home, and administer medications. I can clean after pets and care for puppies and kittens as well. I have previously volunteered at animal shelters and worked with many different animals. Other than pet care, I love being outdoors and staying active in nature. I absolutely love to travel in my spare time. I am also available for farm animal care as well- although I don't have any experience in this I would really love to learn. Thank you for reading! I am taking a break from nursing for a couple months and my schedule is pretty flexible/open! I am happy to provide care during this time of transition. I am reliable, friendly, and safe in my interactions with pets. Regardless of the temperament of the animal, I can read animals body language well and know how to make them feel safe.

Sage has been walking Margot for a few years now and is AMAZING. 👏 Margot’s heel has improved so much. I used to not be able to walk her in public spaces out of fear of her pulling me or reacting to other dogs and now I’m able to walk her in some of the busiest of walkways and she stays in a heel. Sage is also a great communicator and always sends me a little blurb debriefing how the walk went that day. I highly recommend Sage if you want your pup in great hands!!

Janet takes such great care of my dogs and makes it so much easier to be away from them. She’s attentive, patient, communicative, and my dogs absolutely love her. They always get plenty of exercise, attention, and quality care, and are happy and relaxed when I get home. I absolutely trust Janet with my pets and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker or sitter!

Andrew is awesome! He’s such a fast walker so when he takes my dog on a walk it’s a WALK. My high energy pup always gets at least 2.5 miles in with Andrew and it helps so much on days that I am out of town. Andrew is also very detailed in his reports, responsive, and a pleasure work with

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
