About: Hi, I'm Luke! I live with my partner Elaheh, and we love dogs. Our beloved dog Lily recently crossed over the rainbow bridge, and we wanted to do Rover to share our love with other fur babies. I work from home full-time, which means your dog won't spend the day alone waiting for attention. They get real company, regular potty breaks, and plenty of snuggles throughout the day. They can be inside or outside as much as they (and you) would like, as well as go on walks or play catch. When Elaheh gets home from work, she loves to join us on an evening walk and snuggle up with your dog on our couch. We live in a quiet neighborhood in La Mesa with a fenced yard, so there's space to run, fetch, or just soak up the sun. We are comfortable with dogs that need extra exercise, medication, or just a calm, low-key day on the couch. Your dog is the priority here, and we will treat them like they are. Kyra was absolutely amazing while watching my dog for a full week. From start to finish, her communication was top-tier—she kept me consistently updated and always made me feel at ease while I was away. She sent frequent pictures and detailed updates, which really reassured me that my dog was happy, safe, and well cared for. We joked and laughed at Banroll goofiness which made my experience with her even better. You can tell Kyra genuinely cares about the animals she watches. My dog looked relaxed, comfortable, and clearly enjoyed being with her. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet for that long, but Kyra made the entire experience stress-free. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to leave my dogs for the day. Neither of them had been to “daycare” before and it made all the difference to have such a well maintained, open space to explore and relax in. They were immediately excited to explore and didn’t even notice that I left. Dawn is so clearly calm and competent, I didn’t worry at all while I was gone. One of my dogs wanted to be in the house and spent a lot of time sleeping on her bed, and Dawn was kind enough to let her hang out there. The best sign they were happy and comfortable: one dog has separation anxiety, and when I came to pick them up, she was excited to greet me, but then immediately turned around and went back into the yard, explored more, then asked to be let into the house. I don’t live in the area but will definitely book again if I’m back.
Thea was super friendly and very welcoming to us but with Kyro and that made me extremely happy and i felt more at ease. We just recently moved to SD and using Rover as well. She made the experience wonderful. Kyro had a blast with the other dogs and i’m pretty sure he was super satisfied as well ☺️

This beautiful, loving family took such incredible care of him over the weekend and treated him like one of their own. It was clear how much time, attention, and genuine affection they gave him — from playtime to cuddles and everything in between.
