There is one pet in my apartment (though my roommates are also pet lovers!) and there’s plenty that hangout in the outdoor area if your pet is social! When pet sitting, I abide by the schedule an owner already has for their pet. It can be stressful for them to spend time with someone new while their owner is away, so I found that following a similar routine really puts the pups at ease!

While spending time with a new friend is extremely fun and exciting, I am mindful to the fact that each cutie may have very specific needs. Whatever it may be: a special diet, medication they need to take, triggers to look out for on walks, etc., I love working closely with their family to make sure their time with me is as fun as it is healthy for the pup, myself, and those they may interact with!
A typical day
Lots of play time and cuddles! Varies from pup to pup, but whenever I interact with them I do my best to match their energy levels! I love to be outside, rain or shine! I do very well with active dogs, but i’ve also got a reading list a mile long so a nice day of R&R sounds like a great time as well. :)

Having an older dog myself who i’ve raised since she was 4 months I am comfortable with dogs of all ages! From the highest energies to the laziest cuddlebugs, I’ve yet to meet a pup I can’t fall in love with. :)

Kyra was absolutely amazing while watching my dog for a full week. From start to finish, her communication was top-tier—she kept me consistently updated and always made me feel at ease while I was away. She sent frequent pictures and detailed updates, which really reassured me that my dog was happy, safe, and well cared for. We joked and laughed at Banroll goofiness which made my experience with her even better. You can tell Kyra genuinely cares about the animals she watches. My dog looked relaxed, comfortable, and clearly enjoyed being with her. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet for that long, but Kyra made the entire experience stress-free. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, attentive, and caring. She truly goes above and beyond!

Met Kyra on the elevator of our building and the timing could not have been better. Poppy (my dog) immediately took to her, jumping on her like she’d met her before when she’s usually very shy. Kyra offered to pet sit for me a few weeks later, and everything went well without a hitch. If you want someone your pet can feel safe with, there’s no better pick than Kyra. Thanks again!
Kyra has been an amazing dog sitter to my 3 schnauzers. Kyra has dogsit my dogs while I’ve been out of town a couple of times as well as when I’m at work. Kyra has shown to be responsible,loving, caring and patient. She has also been able to train my dogs to sit,lay and a couple of other tricks. Kyra did an amazing job at potty training my puppy, she has shown her love and dedication with dogs and is definitely a person you can trust. My dogs have built a strong bond with kyra and love to play with her and just be around her in general.
