Andrew made himself available on short notice on a weekend to keep our dog so that my family could spend the day on the slopes at Wintergreen before our cabin rental was available for check in.
Andrew was absolutely amazing with our dog, Ryder! From the moment we dropped Ryder off, we could tell she was in great hands. Andrew kept us updated frequently with messages, photos, and videos, which really eased our minds while we were away. Ryder looked so happy and comfortable in every update—playing, relaxing, and clearly enjoying his time with Andrew and his two dogs. It was evident that Andrew truly cared about Ryder and treated her like his own. We’ve used several dog sitters before, but Andrew stands out as the best Rover sitter we’ve ever had. Took great care of our dog and provided many updates
Andrew took great care of my dog and I am so glad he could watch her during the week on such short notice! He introduced my dog to his in a way that they got along, always great communication and I highly recommend him and will use his doggy day care again!

Schedule
Each weekday morning I offer 30-45min walks at around 0500, midday walks can be arranged as needed, and in the evenings I offer another 30-45m walk which often includes a stop in to a dog park. Weekends have a similar structure, although the morning walk may be a bit later, and could include more time romping at a park.

Safety, trust & environment
My home has a small fenced in area with plenty of shade and water. Extended stay guests, booked with a board and train package, will be crate trained and follow the same routine as my dogs which incorporates consistency and structured exercise. I have a positive method of training that guides my every interaction with pets. I also rely on my adult dogs to model appropriate canine communication.

A typical day
I enjoy engagement training and play with dogs. My time with your pets will not be just your ordinary drop in visits. I pride myself in working with animals in a positive way. Each engagement with your pet will be beneficial to his behavior and your goals. Walks are structured from the moment the leash goes on, playtime is supervised with minimal human intervention, meals are organized and supervised.
