“Our dog Mango is absolutely in love with Teressa. He adores her and gets so excited every time she arrives. She takes the time to run with him and match his energy, which has made such a positive difference. We really appreciate her patience, kindness, and the genuine care she shows every visit. Teressa is an amazing dog walker for our pup Mango.”

About: Welcome to my page! I have taken care of pets belonging to family members and neighbors, and it's always a very pleasant experience to love on the pets and see them excited and relaxed when I'm with them. Besides taking care of their basic needs, I'll make sure they get all the cuddles they deserve! 🐾 I'm currently a SAHM looking to have some income while enjoying loving on pets. I will use the time I have available while my daughter is in school and/or extra curricular activities. I would like to meet the pets (and the owners) for the first time before booking, to ensure it's a good fit for all, and there's trust between the humans and the fur babies.

About: In total I’ve had 5 dogs in my lifetime, dating far back to when I was a baby! Dogs of many sizes and kinds of dogs from small to big, a labrador rottweiler mix, bichon frise and the rest being rat terriers. So from about the time I was born until I was 13 (I am now 20), I owned 5 dogs :). I loved being able to walk my dogs, taking them to parks, just being in their company really. I look after my friends’ dogs on occasion as well as my relative’s when they’re busy and decided that I would love to make it into a career. I don’t have a job, and I’m a student at Southwestern, I was full time last semester but the semester ended just last week. I will be fully free for the next two weeks with the exception of Friday’s from 6pm-11pm (can be negotiated if need be!). I’m open every week day and every day of weekend, willing to work anywhere from 8am until about 5pm. I will be taking one class in the summer, ballet (dance), that begins June 15th, ends August 8th and runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:25am to 11:25 AM for all three days. I would not be allowed to host any pet in my house as we have two babies in the house and we’re not fully aware of their allergies yet, however, it would be best for me to do drop ins or house sitting sessions for that reason. I think doing a meet and greet beforehand would be amazing so that we could have a chance to meet each other first and maybe introduce me to your pet to see if I could be a good match to sit for them instead of blindly throwing me with them!
“Elizabeth is great! My dogs are happy every time she comes over. She’s very patient with them & handles everything they need very well. Will definitely book in the future for more walks!”

About: I've grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life, so I've always been surrounded by animals and love being around them. I enjoy spending time with pets, whether that means taking them on walks, playing with them, or just giving them company while you're away. I've cared for both medium-sized and small dogs, and I know every pet has their own personality. My goal is always to make them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for, just like they would at home. I'm currently on summer break, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of time to walk your dog. I'm happy to work around your pet's usual routine and make sure they get the exercise and attention they need. I really enjoy being outside and spending time with animals, so dog walking is something I genuinely look forward to. I know every pet has their own routine, so I always make it a priority to follow the owner's instructions and make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. Whether I'm picking up your dog for a walk or bringing them back, I'll always keep their safety in mind by making sure they're securely leashed and paying attention to the surroundings. I know it's a huge responsibility leaving your dog with another but I'll always treat them with care, respect, and the attention they deserve.
“Maribeth was so kind to my dogs, they absolutely loved her. Maribeth was punctual and provided good communication. I am sooooo happy we were able to use her services!! Highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bonita
Nicolas is just great w dogs. He has a way with our big Staffy that keeps her in check and she still has a great relaxed walk. If you need an all around good person watching or walking your fur babies, Nicolas is the guy. I’m so lucky our family and our dog has met him.

As a 1st time user of this app and service to walk my 95lb XL pit I was a bit nervous. I requested a last minute booking with James an hour before the time I selected and he accepted right away! James is very friendly with a calm energy and has years of experience with many different large breeds. James showed up on time and well prepared with items I hadnt thought of and it was much appreciated. James did a fantastic job walking my XL pit sending regular updates from start to finish. I highly recommend giving James a try if your in need of a dog walker. His fees are reasonable so I was able to afford an hour booking. I will be using James again in the near future exclusively for any sessions booked.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
