“This was my first time to use Rover and from the very beginning I was so happy with Priscilla and Mike. Fiona took to Mike right away and seemed to want to be his bestie! I've now found my dog sitter for any future trips or needs. Both are such nice people and help rescue dogs in need. I wish them success and will definitely use them again.”

About: I have had pets for 17 years and so far I have 2 cats and 5 very friendly dogs. I know every behavior and jests at them or if they feel sick I am at home full time. The only time I go out is to go to the market and the occasional medical appointment. The rest of the time I will be caring for and raising your little loved one. My house has a secure fence, a yard to run around in. They will have fun meeting new friends. When they get tired they will sleep in a bed or blanket if they want.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13. I am dependable and very loving towards dogs. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break or a long energetic walk, I am here to help. I am currently a student at San Diego State University and am now on break for a couple months. I have very open availability on mornings and afternoons throughout the week. I will always be keeping on eye out for your dog and making sure they are safe. I will tailor the walks to your dogs needs and always use secure leashes.
About: I have my own dog, and have had him since he was 4 months old, so I know what goes into keeping a dog happy and stimulated. My dog is my child and my life revolves around him. I currently work part time and also have a 3 year old dog. I still currently have a lot of free time and am looking to do something I love, with that time. My dog, Bandit, is my child. He is a completely indoor dog who has free range of the house and furniture. He is one of the family. I take him to the dog beach or dog park every single day.
“Jessica has been an amazing dog walker for our puppy. She is incredibly patient, reliable, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. From day one, she took the time to build trust with our puppy and always makes sure she gets the exercise, attention, and care she needs. One of the best signs of how wonderful Jessica is, is how excited our puppy gets when it's time for her weekly walk with her. It's clear that she absolutely adores her! Knowing that our puppy is in such caring and capable hands gives us great peace of mind. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and compassionate dog walker. We are so grateful to have found her!”

I’ve looked after my friends’ pets as well, including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, senior dogs, birds (parrot), a chameleon, and special mentioned of a disabled Frenchie who needed a little extra help to go potty. About: I've grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life, so I've always been surrounded by animals and love being around them. I enjoy spending time with pets, whether that means taking them on walks, playing with them, or just giving them company while you're away. I've cared for both medium-sized and small dogs, and I know every pet has their own personality. My goal is always to make them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for, just like they would at home. I'm currently on summer break, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of time to walk your dog. I'm happy to work around your pet's usual routine and make sure they get the exercise and attention they need. I really enjoy being outside and spending time with animals, so dog walking is something I genuinely look forward to. I know every pet has their own routine, so I always make it a priority to follow the owner's instructions and make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. Whether I'm picking up your dog for a walk or bringing them back, I'll always keep their safety in mind by making sure they're securely leashed and paying attention to the surroundings. I know it's a huge responsibility leaving your dog with another but I'll always treat them with care, respect, and the attention they deserve.

Gracias a mi experiencia con diferentes razas, sé crear un ambiente de seguro, limpio y lleno de atención personalizada.

About: Having 4+ years of volunteering at my animal shelter has given me the experience to handle various kinds of dogs and their personality traits. I primarily bring them out in the play yards to get their daily exercise so to do this outside the shelter would be like my ideal day of never ending fun. On my free-time I like to research dog breeds and learn anything dog-related. I also love to run my dog blog on instagram. I would like to commit at least 3 days of full-time availability. Nighttime hours (6-11PM) is probably my preferred time because I'm almost always available then. Dogs deserve the exercise and love they need while their owners are away and I'll do my best to make make sure they get it. My house-sitting routine is set to ensure your pet receives consistent, attentive care throughout the day. On weekdays, I provide morning care before heading to work (which begins at 8:00 AM in Chula Vista). Depending on my route, I’m typically available again between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. After work, I return to spend a few hours feeding, caring for, and giving your pet plenty of attention. I then briefly check in on my own pets before coming back to your home for the evening and overnight care. On weekends, I have greater flexibility. I am available every Saturday and every other Sunday, allowing me to dedicate even more time and attention to your pet’s needs. Caring for your pet is both a joy and a responsibility I take seriously. While you’re away, they’ll be treated like one of my own—with lots of love, attention, and care. I like to follow a detailed care sheet outlining your pet’s usual routine so I can mirror it as closely as possible, helping them feel comfortable and at ease in your absence. You can also expect plenty of adorable updates, and I’m always available if you or I have any questions along the way.

About: Hello! Just a little about me. I was raised around cats & dogs my whole life. So I am aware of the constant needs that they may require. Whether that be enjoying the weather outside on a walk or a much needed cuddle sesh. I also genuinely love dogs and cats! From high energy dogs that are always on the go and to the mellow cat that just prefers to lounge around on a sun spot. So I'm sure I will love your fur baby during the time that I'll spend with them no matter the circumstance! I am currently working full time as an early childhood educator for the past 9 years, however I do have an open availability for house sitting during the weekends on Friday evening through Sunday evening. I work with children as a Teachers Assistant so “Safety” is my middle name! I am hyper attentive when around animals and will also put their needs first.

Great experience with our Rover dog walker, Isabella! She took excellent care of both of my dogs, was reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. My dogs came back happy and well exercised. I really appreciated the updates and photos during the walks. Highly recommend!

Alex is freaking awesome!! I’d say probably the best dog walker I’ve had on this app. She’s super flexible, punctual, and great communicator. She sends awesome pictures and funny comments about their adventure. Especially when she takes out Jack on a run instead of a walk, he comes home extra tired! She’s the best 5/5 recommend.

Tyler is the best! He’s been helping me with my puppy, and I truly can’t thank him enough. He’s incredibly patient, caring, and attentive, and it’s clear he genuinely loves what he does. My pup is always happy after their walks, and I feel completely at ease knowing he’s in great hands. Highly recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog walker!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
