About: Before I could speak my first standard language, I would speak with animals. This led me to care for neighbors', friends', family's, fosters and stray animals beginning in elementary school. Every shape, size, breed. I find peace & ability to converse with all, threading genuine connection with any and all animals. I currently make my own schedule, and always seek to spend time with a friend or family's animals. A key thing to note is that my fiancé & I share a vehicle, so we are a package deal. She is also an (inactive) Rover provider and can share her info upon request. I am very physically active and enjoy a pup to run / hike with as well. I travel throughout the metro area for business and meetings as well, so I am willing to go anywhere to be a blessing. Transparency and communication is key, always reaching out to the client to ensure I am following proper procedures. I provide the service of package / mail collection, taking the trash out on trash day, pup-poo yard clean up, and as a skilled trade handyman - can provide assistance / service upon discussion. I strive to leave your home as clean or better than when I arrived.

About: Hi! I’m a Zoology student working toward becoming a veterinarian, as well as a Military Conservation Agent veteran with hands-on animal care experience. I’m especially comfortable with dogs that need a little extra attention, including large breeds, anxious or reactive dogs, senior dogs, and pets recovering from medical procedures. I have dog training experience and am confident handling dogs with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. My animal experience also includes working with wildlife such as bears, large cats, wolves, and coyotes, including emergency animal care and working alongside veterinarians. For pets with medical needs, I can administer medications, follow veterinary care instructions, monitor recovery, and watch closely for changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, or overall condition. I understand that emergencies and last-minute situations happen, so I may be able to accommodate short-notice bookings when other sitters are unavailable without meet & greet. My priority is always to keep your dog safe, comfortable, calm, and well cared for while giving you regular updates and peace of mind. As a full-time student, I have a flexible schedule outside of my lab sessions. I’m available for early mornings, evenings, and most daytime hours, and I can often adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. I may also be available for last-minute or short-notice bookings when my schedule allows. I have professional experience handling high-drive, reactive, and challenging animals, including wolfdogs and wildlife. I’m confident working with strong breeds and know how to handle them safely, calmly, and with good judgment. I always respect your home, property, and your pet’s routine. During walks and stays, I use safe handling techniques and closely monitor your dog’s behavior and condition. I can also provide basic first aid, administer medications as instructed, and support established training or behavior routines when needed.

About: Hi! My name is Victoria, and caring for animals has been a huge part of my life. I’ve had experience caring for many different types of animals over the years, but dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I absolutely love spending time with them and building strong, trusting bonds with each dog I meet. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. I have four dogs of my own—two Chihuahuas, one Pomsky, and one Chow Chow—so I’m very familiar with caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from young puppies who need extra attention and training reinforcement to senior dogs who require patience, gentle care, and specialized routines. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether your dog is high-energy and loves walks and playtime or prefers a calm and relaxing environment, I can provide the individualized care they need. I also have experience working with dogs who experience anxiety, separation anxiety, nervousness, and other unique behavioral needs. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care while treating every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, medication administration, or simply keeping your pup company, you can trust that they’ll receive plenty of love and attention in my care. I look forward to meeting you and your furry best friend! A little about me! I earned my Associate’s degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences and am currently continuing my education to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology. My studies have helped me develop strong skills in understanding behavior, patience, communication, and building positive relationships—qualities that I bring into every interaction with the pets I care for. I also work part-time as an in-home caregiver, which has strengthened my sense of responsibility, compassion, and attentiveness. Because of my flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pup and ensure they receive the care, attention, and affection they deserve. I am available most mornings throughout the week, with the exception of Thursdays and Sundays, and I look forward to providing a safe, loving, and dependable experience for both you and your furry family member. Your pup’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of grass and space to run, play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors safely. My home provides a loving, pet-friendly environment where dogs can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay. I also have four extremely friendly dogs of my own—two Chihuahuas, one Pomsky, and one Chow Chow—who love meeting new furry friends. They are well-socialized and enjoy playing, making them great companions for dogs who enjoy interaction and socialization. Of course, I always pay close attention to each dog’s personality and comfort level to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone. Whether your pup loves playtime, cuddles, outdoor adventures, or simply relaxing in a calm environment, they’ll be treated like family and receive plenty of love, attention, and care while they’re with me.

About: I’ve lived on a farm since I was 11. I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies along with many other animals. I raised multiple litters of newborn puppies and their mothers. I’ve cared for them in many ways. I’ve also worked at a doggy day care and boarding facility and have experience with taking care of many dogs of different sizes and ages. I’m walking dogs and doing dog sitting as a side job now while I attend school. I assure you I have plenty of experience taking care of these wonderful fur babies. I’m currently going to school. I take night classes and need something that is flexible with my schedule. I already walk dogs and do dog sitting through another app called wag. It’s perfect for me cause I can focus on school without being worried about being tied down to a schedule since I’m able to make my own schedule. I also need more services so I thought doing 2 apps at a time might bring more income. I let them out every 2-4 hours to go potty or as needed or instructed my owner. I feed them based off their eating schedule and how many time a day they eat. I take them out for walks and to play with them outside frequently. If the parent need me to do anything else for their pups I’m more than happy to do so.

One of our dogs is very wary of new people and takes a long time to warm up to them. Not with Kali. She met him once before we left on vacation. Her first walk it took him 2 blocks to chill out. After that he was so stoked to see her and leave the house with her. Dogs came back so happy and fully exercised. Highly recommend. Will 100% use her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
