“Mabel loved her time at Araceli’s! Araceli was very warm and welcoming to us humans, but to Mabel she was a dog’s dream host. There are toys, stuffies and balls galore. Mabel absolutely felt at home the second we walked in. Mabel was allowed to get on the couch and Araceli didn’t mind when water dripped off her mouth after drinking water. We knew immediately that Mabel would be in great hands and she was. We were happy to receive pictures and even a video of Mabel having fun. We will definitely use Araceli again. I know Mabel will be excited.”

“Thank you, Pilar for always down to take care of Kai and for giving him all the love while my husband and I were away. You are one of Kai's favorite people now. Thank you po! :)”

“Haylee was very kind and great to work with. She took great care of Murphy and understood when he had some trouble adjusting. She sent plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay. Would gladly book her again!”

“Mark and his son were really awesome with our dog, Thor. We booked a 10 day stay, and Mark provided consistent updates on how Thor was doing. They walked him regularly and played with him often, and they have a great home with a back yard Thor could enjoy. I felt comfortable and confident leaving my fur baby with them!”

“Honestly, from the moment we met during the consultation we were immediately at ease. My pup had plenty of love while we were gone ( 13 days) and was actually sad when she came home - we think from missing Agueda! We couldn’t be happier with the care she received and if you are hesitating to book, don’t! She is great!”

“Monique was such a good sitter for our dog. She updated us daily and sent lots of pictures! She took really good care of our dog who has bad anxiety. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Robin & Rahn were great! They sent updates with photos and videos during my dog Millie’s stay and it looked like she had the best time! I would definitely recommend them for sitting and will book with them in the future.”

“Kaitlin and Verle took such great care of our dog! He was calm and happy when we picked him up, and I would definitely feel comfortable booking again!”

“Anna was amazing watching my dog Willow for the first time. I had a lot of anxiety leaving her after just moving to San Diego, but Anna immediately put me at ease. She was so kind and treated Willow like her own, letting her relax and feel comfortable in her home. She kept me updated and sent great pictures that made me really happy. I truly appreciated her communication and care—would absolutely recommend her! She’s wonderful and you can see how much she loves and cares about dogs! Willow had a great time!”

“Cristina was amazing with our boys! Very responsive, sent lots of pictures, and spoiled them all week! Will absolutely be using Cristina again in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Melanie was great! She sent us updates every day and our pup seemed right at home. It was our first time using Rover so we were a little apprehensive but she put us at ease after meeting her and seeing how comfortable our boy was with her.”

“Had our first stay this weekend with Damariz. Freda to to her right away. Damariz was vary caring and attentive. I received updates Freda and she was having a great time. I would recommend without hesitation Damariz for the care of your pets.”

“Ella was an amazing sitter for my boy General! She sent me regular photos of her dog, Loki, and General having the time of their lives together. She provided me with regular updates on how General was doing since he can be anxious most of the time. But with Ella, General had no issue adapting! Ella’s awesome care and patience made sure that General had a great time during his stay. I will 100% be looking forward to utilizing her services again!”

“Lori watched our dog Hana for four nights and we couldn’t be more pleased. Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

“It was our first time ever having our dogs stay at someone’s home vs going to a boarding facility. Jennifer and Donald were awesome with our 2 Weimaraners, who can be demanding and a handful. We got photos and sometimes videos on a daily basis, which helped put our minds at ease during our vacation over Thanksgiving. We could see that our dogs were getting great walks, being properly fed and in a loving environment. Jennifer and Donald were also very accommodating when our drop off time had to move up an hour early in the morning. All in all, we highly recommend them.”

“I’m very glad to have had Ken take care of my lab, Renzo. From our initial meet-and-greet, he was very kind, and we had an extensive conversation about our expectations and Renzo’s needs. He was very accommodating and sent me several updates and pictures while I was away. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone to take great care of their pets.”

“Claudia & Cris were beyond amazing! They had a gorgeous area for Kilo to run around and meet other dogs. They also strived in updating me daily with cute videos of our baby and trained her every step of the way. Highly recommend for anyone to have their dog stay with this team!”

“Jessica did an excellent job caring for my two pups, especially after a very last minute request when my other sitter fell through. She was an excellent communicator, made pick up and drop off easy, and sent me pictures throughout her time with the pups.”

Haylee was absolutely amazing! Leo had the best time with her, and I will definitely be reaching out to her again. She sent me regular updates and the sweetest photos, which made me feel completely comfortable and at ease knowing Leo was happy and being so well cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! ❤️🐾

Lori was wonderful from first contact and booking to pick up. We needed a local sitter while on vacation and she was thoughtful enough to offer extra time which was appreciated. At drop off we noted a secure fenced area which was plenty large. It was evident she had read each of the profiles and knew about each pet. The indoor area had large pens. She sent pictures that showed all pets comfortable and relaxed. And the Great Dane with big smile. We wish we could find someone like her in our state

I highly recommend Ari if you need a pet sitter. She took care of our 10 month old Cavapoo puppy, and was glad that we booked her. She kept us informed during our trip with photos and latest updates. The photos showed my puppy having a great time with her as she was able to walk her and take her around with her. She's been very professional and courteous and i would definitely book again if the opportunity presents itself. This is our first family dog, and we wanted to make sure we pick the right sitter, and not someone who didn't care about another dog in her house. She showed that she cared and love the pet that she was watching. When i picked up the dog she thanked me for entrusting her with our pet. I forgot to mentioned that before we/she committed, we met at a park to see if there's a fit and if they'd get along. Ari has a calm, caring personality and she genuinely does the best for the dog's best interest. Lastly, her place has AC so I'm sure my dog was morebcomfortable there than at my place because we don't have AC. My puppy's probably thinking right now "Why'd you pick me up? I was super comfortable there." Anyhow, 10 out of 10 rating. Much appreciated Ari!

Vipul was great sitter for our pug PeeWee. He provided daily photos and updates which was much appreciated and assured us that PeeWee was happy and comfortable. We highly recommend Vipul and will happily have him dog sit when we need him again. Many thanks Vipul!!!

Amanda took such great care of my dog for me and he certainly isn’t an easy one as he has his little quirks that people have to be aware of. All of these updates and photos she sent me really made me feel like roo was apart of their family while I was away. Highly recommend!
Jace was amazing! My Shiba Inu Toshi really enjoyed his stay at Jace’s house. Jace was very communicative and sent a good amount of photos and updates. He was playful and loving towards Toshi and all around a nice, friendly and gentle dog walker. I highly recommend and will definitely be using Jace again in the future.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
