“Relieved to have found such a wonderful sitter to watch my pup while I am away! Always so flexible and responsive to my messages. Sends picture updates, which is wonderful! 10/10 recommend!!!”

“Savannah took great care of my pooches. This was the first time being apart from them overnight, so I was a little nervous. She gave several update pics and made sure my two were comfortable and didn't stress about being away from me. One of them is pretty reactive to other dogs, but her and husband were able to walk both pooches without any issues. I look forward to booking with Savannah again in the future.”

“Terri is a true animal lover. She cared for my dog Lucy over the weekend. She took Lucy for plenty of walks and even took her to the lake a couple times. Baked her some dog treats and even sent her home with a batch. Plenty of pictures. We are very pleased.”

“Cerita is a gem! So kind, so sweet and her house is great for pups that enjoy socializing with other pups and has a nice indoor/outdoor vibe for the pups to have some level of autonomy and freedom which is amazing. We would highly recommend and will use her if we come to SD again”

“Ben was a super great host! 10 out of 10 would recommend, he was kind, communicative, flexible, and my doggie had a great stay. He asked if I had any specific requests, provided lots of cute pics for me throughout the day and evening with updates, my doggo got to play with all the others, and was taken good care of making the experience a breeze. Can’t thank you enough for everything!!”

“Rippley and Biscuit loved Kaitlin and Verle! I was so happy to see how relaxed my reactive and senior puppers were at a new location. The pictures they sent me of the dogs in full potato mode assured me that they felt right at home.”

“Linda was incredibly responsive to my request and so easy to work with. She took such good care of my Yorkie and I’m pretty sure he got all the love and snuggles he needed. She is a kind, gentle soul who gave me peace of mind on his 8 day stay. I owe her a huge THANK YOU!”

About: Hi! I’m Rhonda, and I understand that pets are family. Whether you’re away for a weekend or an extended trip, I provide dependable pet sitting and house sitting services so you can travel with peace of mind. As a lifelong animal lover and owner, I enjoy caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I am comfortable with both dogs and cats. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I am dependable and treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I give my own. I currently have two cats, Gizmo and Truffle, but I have owned many different types of dogs and cats throughout my entire life. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I am currently self-employed part time and primarily work from home, so I am able to be home with your pets the majority of the time. I might be gone for 1-3 hours some days. It varies. I am happy to care for your pets in your home or mine, including staying overnight. Whether your pet loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a familiar routine, I will provide trustworthy care tailored to them. In my home, I currently have two cats, Gizmo and Truffle. I can board your pets in my home as long as they are comfortable with cats. Both my cats tolerate dogs and cats well. I can also stay at your home while you’re away or do drop in visits/walks/feedings, depending on your preference.
“Mark and his son were really awesome with our dog, Thor. We booked a 10 day stay, and Mark provided consistent updates on how Thor was doing. They walked him regularly and played with him often, and they have a great home with a back yard Thor could enjoy. I felt comfortable and confident leaving my fur baby with them!”

“Whitney took such good care of Bailey! She got along just fine with her other dog and I loved that Bailey got to play a lot with her kids and get all her energy out! Definitely would use Whitney again! Thank you Whitney!”
“Pilar was wonderful! She kept me updated when I asked about my dogs and she has a heart of gold! When I picked my dogs up they were happy! Pilar has a heart of gold! Highly recommend her!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! My dogs were genuinely happy and comfortable the entire time they were there. I received regular updates, photos, and great communication everything you could hope for when leaving your pets in someone else’s care. It gave me total peace of mind, and I’m so grateful. Highly recommend!”

“Jeffrey was amazing and kept me updated with pics and videos of my fur babies. My German Shepard is not the easiest when caring for him but Jeffrey did great and kept me in the loop with him. I would highly recommend Jeffrey when you need someone to watch your fur babies. He is more than knowledgeable and truly cares for your pets. Before having my babies stayed with him he allowed to do and meet and greet prior to having my dogs stay with him and I appreciated it. It definitely put my mind at ease as a first time rover user. I can’t say any more but great things about him. Definitely will be coming back to him if I need to go somewhere. My babies were well taken care of :)”

“Taylor and Andrew gave us such peace of mind leaving our elderly vizsla, River, for 4 nights. Not only are they the most caring people, but they welcomed River like she was one of their own, sent pic and video updates, gave her daily meds, and even introduced her to her new favorite toy. We will definitely ask for another doggie staycation in the future.”

“Erica was an answer to our prayers! This was our first experience booking a sitter through Rover AND the first time we’d leave our pup to go on vacation. Our biggest worry was that Leia would be too much to handle and get a call during our trip to get her picked up but Erica made us feel assured that our pup would be in good hands. Erica sent lots of photos and by the end of her stay, I could tell that she would be missed. I am so glad we have a trusted sitter.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - El Cajon
Carol provided caring, safe and fun environment for our dog Flo. It made us enjoy our 10 day vacation more knowing she was in good hands with Carol. She updated us daily with a text and photos of Flo. We loved those photos, and Flo was a happy dog!! We will definitely be using Carol again when we need someone to take care of Flo.

We had a great experience leaving our dogs with Madison and Moses. We were concerned about having our anxious dog dog-sat during our vacation, but after meeting them we were reassured and were able to have a great relaxing vacation without any concern. They were very responsive to all of our questions and provided updates throughout their stay. Highly recommend. We plan to use them again for future vacations.

Charlie was so accommodating of our very short notice request after our pet sitter had an emergency and had to cancel our booking at the last minute. Our pups had a great time and they were very happy when we picked them up! We are so appreciative to Charlie for taking great care of our babies and would definitely recommend him!

Autumn was absolutely outstanding with my Pups! One of them was rescued off the street 4 months ago and is very fearful around new people and places, but he had such an amazing time and didn't want to leave by the time we had to pick them up. They loved her so much that I honestly felt a little sad about taking them away from her. I feel like that just highlights how phenomenal she was. 10/5 stars!! Hope to be back next time!

Vanessa took excellent care of my puppy, sending me photos and messages with updates on what he was doing. She let me know if he was eating or ready to sleep, which I really appreciated. I felt confident that my dog was in a comfortable environment and in good hands.

Dawn was really wonderful with our dogs and they had such a great stay. Dawn has a great backyard that I know our pups took advantage of, they slept for two straight days after coming home! She was really accommodating when we had to change times, which was so appreciated.

Felt like family! Tiffany and her entire family are the best! Our puppies spent Easter week with them and they were surrounded by love and lots of attention. She was very responsive, communicative, and provided proactive care. With a young puppy, it was great that she only had our two dogs. Tiffany followed every instruction and was flexible to just ensure all their needs were seen to. With travel costs high already, booking with Tiffany was worth every additional penny. We had peace of mind and vacationed guilt-free knowing our dog babies were still being loved and snuggled even without us around. Tiffany and family are at the top of our sitter roster for future extended trips out of area. Highly recommended if you are looking for instant likability and trust!

Angela is wonderful! She treats any dog in her care with love, gives attention, and supplies the dog owner with updates + photos. Our dogs almost don't want to leave because they are sooo happy. I highly highly recommend Angela for day care and boarding. It is such a relief to know that my dogs are loved and cared for while I'm out of town. I think she under charges, so I always give a nice tip:)
