“I was frantically looking for someone to drop in and walk my two dogs super last minute, and Kaitlyn saved the day. She followed instructions and was able to handle my big German Shepherd and smaller Shepherd. I am grateful to have found her and would definitely request her again - thank you, Kaitlyn!”

“Jordan was amazing! Our cat was clearly very well attended to, and it showed. Never before have we gone on a trip and NOT been violently accosted upon entering our home. Ginger is usually not satisfied until she has drawn my blood, and she is instead purring and headbutting me lovingly. Only affection from this fuzzy demon, which means she was well looked after.”

“CJ did a great job with the cats while I was gone for 10 days. He was able to come twice a day and hang out with them and give them the attention they needed. He updated me on everything and was easy to communicate with. He also shared great pictures from each visit! I came home to two happy cats.”

About: As a former veterinary assistant with five years of hands-on experience, I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. My background has given me the skills to recognize changes in behavior, handle pets safely and confidently, and provide compassionate care—even for anxious or special-needs animals. You can trust that your pets will be treated like family, with plenty of love, patience, and attention on every walk. Currently I work full time but I’m looking for a side hustle. I’m open to checking in on your pets after 5pm Mon-Fri if needed and I’m off on weekends so I can be available all weekend. I provide reliable in-home pet care by following your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and keeping their living area clean while you’re away.
About: I have grown up my whole life with dogs, and have raised my own for the last 15 years! I love animals of all kinds, and spend my free time bringing my dog wherever he can go- the beach, hikes, parks, you name it! I would treat your beloved fur babies the same way I treat mine. My dog also gets along great with other dogs, just happy to have someone to play with. My neighbors in my courtyard also all have dogs, and they often all play outside together. I am a teacher, so I get home before 4pm every day. My days are quick, and I'll be home with the dogs for hours on end. On the weekend, I will spend my time outside reading, while the dogs play and bask in the sun. I live in a new apartment building in El Cajon. Im a teacher so I’m home for the summer, and I love bringing them on long walks.
About: For the past 14 years, my world revolved around my dog, Zuri. She recently passed away, and while I’m not ready to welcome another dog into my life just yet, I realized how much I miss spending time with them. Caring for dogs has never felt like work to me. I’m naturally attentive, patient, and deeply attuned to animals. I tend to notice the little things; when a dog needs a slower pace, extra reassurance, more water, a sniff break, or simply someone calm to help them feel safe. Zuri taught me that every walk is the highlight of a dog’s day, not just another task to check off a list. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, anxious, or a senior who needs a gentler pace, I’ll care for them with the same love, presence, and respect I gave my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your best friend in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease, knowing your dog is safe, understood, and genuinely loved while we’re together. I have experience caring for senior dogs, administering medications when needed, and understanding that every dog has their own personality, pace, and emotional needs. I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy being active, so dog walks fit naturally into my daily routine. Walking has been an important part of my own life for years, and after losing my beloved dog of 14 years a few months ago, spending time with dogs has become something that brings me joy and healing. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your dog gets the exercise, enrichment, and attention they deserve. I understand that trusting someone with your dog is a big decision because I know what it’s feels like to love a dog like family. I always prioritize safety by following your dog’s routine, using secure leash handling, paying close attention to their body language, and adapting to their individual personality and energy level. Whether your dog is playful, shy, anxious, or a senior who needs a slower pace, I’ll care for them with patience, kindness, and respect. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident they’re in good hands.
“Ashley is AWESOME. We’ve trusted her with our kitties a few times. One of our cats is diabetic and requires insulin shots - Ashley is so knowledgeable, and we feel so comfortable leaving our kitties in her care. We’re so fortunate to have her support.”

“My two dogs were happy and relaxed when I got home. I love that Loren sends me pictures of them so I can see in their faces how they were doing. Loren responds promptly when I have any questions, communicating well with me. I appreciate that.”

“Adrian is wonderful and our go-to! Prompt, great communication, managed our old lady’s oral meds and won her heart. So grateful Adrian was available for the holiday, we were able to travel with nothing to worry about! Thank you so much.”

About: Growing up I have always had dogs on the property and consider them part of the family. I believe a well trained dog is loved by its owner. I am an animal lover who want to help those who have a hard time with placement. I enjoy spending time with other people's pets because I am unable to have one for myself at this time. I am currently retired so I have time to spend with them daily. I can take them to parks, beach, lakes, etc. Depends on breed and how active they are. I have aquariums, reptiles and my extended family has dogs that I am frequently around. I have had exotic, elderly, injured and sick pets in my care. I foster for the Humane Society periodically and adjust my home according to the pets needs.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals ever since I can remember. From feeding my extended family’s pet to walking dogs and staying over night as an adult. Pet care is always a part of my daily routine. I have 2 indoor cats and 2 stray cats that come everyday to eat and lay around. I can easily make time to tend to other pets I tend to other pets with love attention, make them at ease as it can be a stressful time for pets when human parents are away from home.
“Maureen came to my place when I had to be away for an overnight trip. She took AMAZING care of my kitty Edmund by making sure he took his meds. She came armed with cat treats and a pill popper. I love how prepared she came. She is an experienced animal sitter and I will definitely book her again.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have had three dogs of my own, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve also babysat and pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors, giving me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve cared for breeds including Goldendoodles, Maltese, Poodles, labradors, Chihuahuas, French Bulldogs, and many more. One thing that sets me apart is my responsibility and dedication. I recently served as the ASB President at my high school, where I learned the importance of being dependable, organized, and someone others can count on. This fall, I’ll be attending California Lutheran University to pursue both my bachelor’s and then master’s degrees. I truly love animals and understand that every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individual attention. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping a familiar routine while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I would be honored to earn your trust and treat your pet like they’re one of my own. 🐾 I’m currently on summer break and in the process of preparing for my first semester at California Lutheran University, so I have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pet. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, overnight care, or simply someone to keep them company, I’m happy to work around your schedule and provide reliable, attentive care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’ll make sure they stay on their normal feeding, walking, and potty schedule, provide plenty of love and attention, and always keep a close eye on them. I’m respectful of both your home and your pet, and I’ll communicate with you throughout the visit with updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands.
“Sahba's super sweet and attentive care for my baby was definitely all I expected. Her storytelling about my cat helped brighten my day while I was away. Can not wait to book her again.”

“Brianna was able to come on short notice to help with my pets. I loved how quickly she communicated her time schedules so we could coordinate the times. As well she picked up my plants that my cats knocked over. My house smelled and looked nice I will definitely book her again this time for a full stay.”

This was our second time asking Sahba to take care of our cats, and once again she did an amazing job. Sahba asked questions whenever something came up, which gave us peace of mind. She also sent us lots of photos and videos of our cats while we were away. We felt completely comfortable leaving our home and our cats in her care. We highly recommend her!

Ashley is my go to cat sitter! I appreciate her flexibility, love and wisdom for animals, and her kind personality. Sola loves her! She takes pictures - keeping me abreast of what’s Sola is up to. I love the cuddle pictures… warms my heart knowing Sola feels safe, loved, and comfortable when I am away. I’m grateful that I’ve found Ashley -knowing Sola is in good hands lessens my worries when I travel!!

Grace was absolutely amazing! She is so kind, warm, and easy to talk to. She was incredibly patient with my Mia, who can be a little anxious and scared around new people, but Mia really warmed up to her. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Mia was happy, safe, and genuinely well cared for. I will definitely be booking with her again!

Sommer was great and I’ll definitely be booking with her again for future needs. From the initial meet-and-greet to the daily check-ins and pictures, she really knows how to put you at ease knowing your pups are in good hands. I have a senior dog (maltipoo) who needs to be carried up and down the stairs, as well as a younger dog (pit/lab mix) who can be a handful and she gave both of them the attention and care they needed. She also administered daily medication and was always thorough, communicative and reliable throughout the week. Thank you so much, Sommer!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
