About: I have had pets all my life, from dogs, birds, fish, and have 4 cats of my own at home. I love animals, and have worked with pets with health problems, senior pets, young puppies and kittens, and am not afraid to take on any of these challenges. I don't see it as a challenge! I have open availability, so I can drop in and spend time with your pets whenever you're needing it. I am happy to scoop litter boxes, or clean up after dogs as well. I am happy to feed, water, and play with your pets while you're away. I feed our cats twice a day, and they always have access to fresh water, and I play with them every day.

About: I have cared for dogs since I was about 7 years old. I’ve owned or have pet sat for all ages, sizes, and breeds. From puppies, to 15 year old doggos, I’ve got your back! I am currently a student, so making a couple of pup friends sounds like a great way to spend time outside, get active, and be helpful! I have a fenced yard and two cats. About: Currently, an employee of a 24hr animal hospital, as well as, worked as lead staff in a dog daycare for six years I'm certain your dog will have a very safe and fun time! I've had 2 dogs for 18 years and still have my one mini-Aussie and we frequently go on hikes and road trips. I'm also versed in a little grooming having done it my own Aussie. I currently work full-time on the weekends so weekdays are my main free schedule. I typically go on hikes (short or long), walks for photography, and sometimes go for a run. Sommer was great and I’ll definitely be booking with her again for future needs. From the initial meet-and-greet to the daily check-ins and pictures, she really knows how to put you at ease knowing your pups are in good hands. I have a senior dog (maltipoo) who needs to be carried up and down the stairs, as well as a younger dog (pit/lab mix) who can be a handful and she gave both of them the attention and care they needed. Kelsey was incredible! She was so kind and communicative with me about my kitties and any issues that arose (for example, my automatic litterbox got stuck and needed to be manually reset). I can tell she truly has a deep love and respect for all animals. One of my cats is very shy usually but by day 2 he was coming out to see her for treats and toys during their drop in! I came home to happy and healthy animals and Kelsey was even kind enough to bring my Amazon packages inside. This was a great experience and I’ll be using her in the future again for sure!
We had an amazing experience with Lexi as our dog sitter! She went above and beyond—she not only took great care of our dogs but also trimmed their nails and deshed them. Josie is amazing! She is truly the cat whisper. We were nervous leaving Mister behind for 9 days. Every neighbor we left him with, left him distraught and even though it was only 2 days at a time previously, he would be full of anxiety and all bound up. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
