“Jayna took the time and effort to make sure Blaze was taken care of. She took care of his basic needs and provided attention and play time. She ensured he was fed, had access to clean water, and ensure he had his necessary bathroom breaks. Strongly recommend Jayna for any type of dog care service!”

“Amanda is wonderful! She follows directions to a tee and gives us tons of feedback and updates on our animals. We have her booked for an overnight trip and I’m already at ease knowing everything will be taken care of.”

About: I have taken care of family friends dogs for longs periods of time (5+ days), have taken care of small and medium dogs, and dog sitting two dogs at the same time. I work part-time and I’m mostly free from Fridays after 1pm (or 3pm sometimes due to family or work obligations) to Sundays to dog sit during summers. However if you really need me to dog sit more days for a vacation you have planned. I may (it’s not a guarantee) be able to do it if you notify me a month or 3 weeks before so I can make sure I will be free at that time. I always make sure to be punctual, organized, and attentive with my care to give furry friends and owners a great time. I always let the owners know how their dog is feeling. For example if they seem to be down or agitated, and give them updates on their dogs health so they are aware.
“Anna was very attentive for our shy cat. She made sure to always give updates and ease my anxiety. Anna also always took photos and followed our directions carefully. Thank you, Anna!”

“Adrian was amazing! On time and followed care instructions to a T. I’m nervous to trust anyone with my pets and I’m so happy I found Adrian. They also sent pictures to show how much fun they were having and it put me at ease to see them having a ball. I will be booking with Adrian again whenever I need a dog sitter! Thank you so much for your care of my fur baby and I can’t thank you enough!”

“Nicole is the best! She’s super reliable and my pets love her. I was a bit nervous about having someone come into my home to check in on my dogs while I’m at work but she has made me feel super comfortable since day 1. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm Luke! I live with my partner Elaheh, and we love dogs. Our beloved dog Lily recently crossed over the rainbow bridge, and we wanted to do Rover to share our love with other fur babies. I work from home full-time, which means your dog won't spend the day alone waiting for attention. They get real company, regular potty breaks, and plenty of snuggles throughout the day. They can be inside or outside as much as they (and you) would like, as well as go on walks or play catch. When Elaheh gets home from work, she loves to join us on an evening walk and snuggle up with your dog on our couch. We live in a quiet neighborhood in La Mesa with a fenced yard, so there's space to run, fetch, or just soak up the sun. We are comfortable with dogs that need extra exercise, medication, or just a calm, low-key day on the couch. Your dog is the priority here, and we will treat them like they are. Highlights: • Large, fenced in yard • Human companions in the home nearly all day • Dedicated couch space under the window that looks out on our street for people watching • "Glacier Springs" purified drinking water, free upon request I have a flexible WFH job so I'll have plenty of time for potty breaks, walks, and couch hangs. I am available for boarding/dog sitting beyond just weekends. Since I am home most of the time, your dog can enjoy our back yard all day. I have a fenced-in yard for safe play time and live in a quiet neighborhood for longer walks. I provide photos and updates throughout the day (half my camera roll are puppy pics, lets be honest) and am quick to respond to messages.
About: As corny as this may be, I cannot imagine life without pets. Growing up I have always had dogs and cats. Recently I’ve rescued and fostered four kittens. And now have two of my own. Making sure my dog or cat is comfortable and given enough attention/care is incredibly important to me. Walking/exercising with them, playing with them, feeding them at a consistent time, and providing them with the best place to sleep are responsibilities I take very seriously. Animals mean the world to me. I am organized, athletic, on-time, energetic and thoughtful in all areas of my life including dog/cat/pet ownership. I recently fostered 4 kittens from a dangerous area where I de-wormed them (twice), vaccinated them, and got them to a healthy weight and to happy homes. I have been exposed to different breeds with my friends, family, and peers; therefore I possess the experience and comfort to care for most/all breeds. Some include German Shepherds, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Poodles, and for cats breeds like Russian Blue, Maine Coones, Siberian and more. I am confident my demeanor and level-headed approach prepares me for most of canine behavior. I frequently cat-sit and dog sit for family and friends and I am confident I will keep your pet safe and happy. Lastly, what sets me apart is my commitment to this service. I'm here to provide the same support for you as I would want for my own pets. It’s hard to trust anyone with your pet. They’re like your children. They are family. I can guarantee exceptional pet service. I currently work remotely in the La Mesa area and have flexibility. I’m currently working remotely with many of my calls in early AM so I have time during the day, late afternoon and evenings to walk, dog-sit, and or provide care. I care for my clients’ dogs with great attention and fostering. I work to understand what the pet is used to, what their habits/tendencies are, expectations, and ways to simply have fun. I am very communicative and committed to learning about my client’s lifestyle with their pet(s).

“Martha was phenomenal with my mini australian shepherd! She was always on time and quick to respond to any requests. I would definetly recommend her for any kind of pet, and I will be rebooking in the future! Thank you!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Aurora made the experience amazing! I was out of town for the weekend and Aurora took great care of my two fur babies. They are typically scared of strangers but she made them feel very comfortable and loved. I would definitely rebook with Aurora in the future.”

I’ve had both dogs and cats and truly understand how much they mean to their families. Back home, I have a senior Yorkshire Terrier who is 17 years old and still in good shape and decent health for her age. Caring for her has given me a lot of experience with senior dogs, patience, and gentle attention. I know how important routine, comfort, and love are. I live in an apartment with a secure building and quite environment. My home is calm, clean, and safe. I ensure regular walks, playtime, and supervision so pets stay comfortable and well cared for.

Here’s a polished review you can post: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Maureen was absolutely wonderful! She stepped in at the last minute to help us, and we couldn’t have been more grateful. She is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and immediately connected with Oso. In fact, she even taught him a new trick while caring for him! Beyond her expertise, Maureen was so sweet, caring, and attentive. She treated both Oso and our home with great respect, and it gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We would happily have her back anytime and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter. Thank you, Maureen! 🐾💕

Karmelita was a true godsend for our two cats. It was great having someone check on the two boys and ensuring they were okay. She provided great photos of them and gave them much needed play. Overall I feel my cats did well under her care, vs the unattended check in my neighbors previously did. I will definitely consider booking Karmelita in the future.

Sasha was amazing! Could not have asked for a better sitter for my cat. She made sure my cat was comfortable and would even take the time to track her down in all het favorite hiding spots. She sent a lot of photos which is so reassuring for a cat mom who wants to make sure her baby is okay! By the second visit she earned my shy cat’s trust enough to give her pets, treats, and play a bit too! You can tell she genuinely cares and loves animals. Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again in the future!!
