My dog and cats might be jealous of extra pet smells when I get home, but the joy I feel from caring for animals is worth ALL the side eye. I have a genuine love for all animals! ❤️ I spend the majority of my time working as a sitter through Rover, and I am looking for new clients in the San Diego area 🌴 I truly enjoy caring for pets and have 3 fur babies myself. I have worked in pet stores for years and have centered my career around conservation/biology/animal behavior. I have gained valuable knowledge and experience from caring for many different types of pets and personalities. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, kittens, puppies, senior dogs/cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, birds, fresh/saltwater fish, reptiles, and amphibians. I can administer medications to pets and have patience from my experience in wildlife rehabilitation. I am able to quickly understand the likes/dislikes of animals in order to provide them with the best care possible. I know a shy cutie when I see one! I also have experience working with senior and disabled (paralyzed, blind/deaf, etc.) dogs. I enjoy bringing peace of mind to owners with any special needs/requests for their pet. I love interacting with pets and taking photos to help pet parents feel at ease and comfortable with the sitting experience. I am very patient, kind, and trustworthy from years of pet-sitting for friends, families, coworkers, and Rover for 1.5+ years. I have pets myself and know what it takes to feel comfortable with another person caring for them. I hope to exceed your expectations in keeping your pet safe and happy. I like to plan a meet and greet whenever possible for new clients in order to help get to know your pet and their needs/quirks. I am very communicative and hope to develop a strong relationship with you and your pets! 🐾

I love taking photos of pets for parents; I know it helps me feel at ease seeing those adorable faces when I’m away! 🐈🦮 I send detailed notes during each visit- I like to provide updates on what they have been up to or funny traits I’ve noticed. I take great pride in caring for pets inside their homes. I understand some pets and parents may be hesitant to welcome a new person into their home. I hope to get a chance to meet you and your pets to build trust and allow space for any questions/concerns/special instructions. Sara is the best of the best. She was the first person to ever watch our cats and now we feel very comfortable going on trips and having her watch our babies. Our cats LOVE Sara and they have so much fun when she’s there. Sara goes above and beyond with their care. She knows exactly what they need with their feeding schedules, routines, playtime, and giving them much needed attention and cuddles while we’re gone. Sara has excellent communication skills and responds very quickly. What I love is that she takes so many pictures during each visit and writes a very long and detailed note of how the visit went. I could not recommend her enough and will definitely book with her again!

Sara was amazing at taking care of our four dogs while we were away. We felt so lucky knowing that they were in good hands. She went above and beyond to give them extra exercise and attention with each visit and she paid close attention to their needs, health, and medications. Sarah is amazing! She has been a great sitter for our four cats. What impressed us the most was how she managed to connect with our extremely shy cat, who usually hides from everyone and trusts no one but us. Sarah is a true cat whisperer, and we couldn't be happier with her care!
Sara was fantastic with our crew of four cats! She was diligent about Shadow's health issues and Peanut's medication routine, and sent regular updates that put our minds at ease while we were away. She's clearly experienced with cats who need a little extra care, and our whole household was happy and healthy when we got home. Highly recommend — we'll definitely book her again

Schedule
I am available for drop ins and dog walking daily throughout the week and most weekends (AM, midday, or PM!) I generally accept most requests within/near my radius. I am hoping to find more scheduled/frequent visits so please let me know if that is something you’re looking for! Also please feel to inquire about my availability at any time, I also accept last-minute walks/drop ins 👍🏻 I am available for house sitting on some weekends and a few weekdays. My house sitting care includes 3 visits per day along with an overnight stay. Clients not requiring overnight care typically book me for 3 drop in visits per day, which I ensure to equally space out throughout the day. I accept most requests where timing can be flexible around my other scheduled clients! I am very good at communicating and will work with pet parents to balance our needs and schedules! 🗓️
