I’m struggling to write this review because I really don’t like complaining. Maybe I should start by saying that I’m very confused about hiring Kevin because of his great price, his quick responses to my inquiry for service, 40 5-star reviews that didn’t match up with the actual care my cats received. We agreed he would come in every other day to feed and water my cats (who had an automatic feeder and water with good capacity) and give them some wet food, as well as clean the cat box. I was also under the impression he would spend time with the cats and send pictures. I will admit that my cats were afraid and would run and hide when he came; however, they have always come out for other strangers after they have been there for a few minutes. This never happened in the 3 weeks I was gone. I received 2 pictures of my cats looking pretty terrified only after I requested pictures. While I can’t say exactly what happened each time he visited, it doesn’t make sense that in 3 weeks of no other human contact, they didn’t come out at all. I was able to see on my indoor camera one time he came, was there only long enough to change the cat box and put down wet food. I didn’t hear him call for the cats at all, nor did I see him look for them. I also had to text him to put dry food and water out for them as I could see the auto-feeders were almost empty one day. He responded to the text saying he would go after work and “fix this”. This happened on the day he wasn’t scheduled to go and it makes me believe he didn’t go the day before when he was supposed to. If he did, he would have seen there wasn’t enough food and water to make it 2 days. Overall, he did the bare minimum to care for my cats and this was in direct conflict with his reviews that raved about what a caring cat person he is. I am disappointed with this experience, not only because I worried about them for every day for 3 weeks, but also because they had no human touch for that amount of time and I have no evidence that Kevin attempted to actually care.

Kevin came to meet Rosie ahead of time to make sure she was comfortable with him. He was on top of everything, showed up on time, and was communicative. I would absolutely book him again.

First and foremost, thank you so much for helping me at the very last minute. Second, thank you for your patience with my shy pups. Lastly, highly recommend as Kevin is flexible, understanding, and punctual. 10/10 experience.

Kevin was great with our dog! We’ll definitely use him again as our go to dog sitter in the future.

Kevin was fantastic, punctual and great with communication. Kevin was house sitting as well. Both my home and most importantly my animals were all cared for, and we appreciate that.
