She took him on adventures and walks every day, gave him an opportunity to play in a kiddie pool and cared for him like her own. About: I've been working toward becoming a veterinarian for years, starting with caring for pets in my community. I helped run the medical team at a local animal shelter as a teenager where I learned to give vaccines, care for senior animals, and comfort scared or aggressive pets and further continued that career with various organizations working at a veterinary technician in Santa Barbara, Yuma Arizona, Maui, Kauai, Palm Springs, Coachella valley, Coalinga, Visalia and Fresno. I can handle larger dogs comfortably as well as all kinds of behaviors and breeds. I have a lot of experience with being active and medically aware/trained and with that I am able to fulfill and maintain a positive healthy walk or caretaking environment with your pet. I’m passionate, patient, and always looking to learn more so I can give every animal the best care possible. Pet care is a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with the medical team at a local animal shelter and emergency hospital routinely caring for pets in my community. Since I’m still in school and working toward becoming a vet, I’m most available during early mornings, weekends, or after school hours and weekends I love learning from every experience and giving animals the care they deserve. When caring for my male husky, Meeko, and my snake at home, I focus on safety, trust, and creating a suitable environment for both. For Meeko, safety comes first.I make sure the yard is secure with a strong fence, and when walking, I keep him on a leash to avoid any accidents. Huskies are independent but friendly, so building trust through consistent training and positive reinforcement is important. I also make sure he has plenty of space to run and play, as he needs regular physical and mental exercise. As for my snake, safety is key too. I make sure her enclosure is secure and the temperature and humidity levels are just right for her species. I handle her gently and with care, allowing her to get used to me at her own pace. Trust takes time, but regular, calm handling helps. I keep her environment clean and provide hiding spots, as well as fresh water, to make sure she feels comfortable and safe. When I’m walking or caring for my pets at home, I make sure the environment is always safe and comfortable for them. It’s all about creating a space where they feel secure and loved, and where they can trust me to meet their needs.

About: Our family has had several years of experience with a large variety of dogs of all breeds, ages, temperaments and medical conditions. From administering insulin shots to working with retired police dogs, we have experienced it all. You can rest assured that your dog would be loved and cared for as if it were our very own and would receive the best care as we would want for ours. We both have experience in working with dogs with some challenging traits to include health issues and are more than capable in caring for dogs in perfect to not so perfect health. We have had dogs from early puppies all the way to adopted senior citizens in our lifetime and would love to love your dog like we would our own while you're at work or out of town. We currently have weekends to ourselves and your dog would spend the day/weekend with us being part of the family. From walks to the park to play time at the beach, and even coming out with us to dinner, your dog will be made to feel like they are one of the family. We welcome dogs in the bed, car rides, play time, fetch, cuddles, and an overall good time. We genuinely love dogs and want them to feel comfortable and happy while you're away. We do not have a yard but we live close by to a fenced in park (not a dog park) and would provide several leashed walks a day. We try and keep to a routine while they are here with us so there is familiarity and a sense of comfort in that there are not big surprises. We have a quiet neighborhood and not a lot of coming and going in our home, and when we do leave, it's expected that the dog(s) go with us where ever they can. We want your dog to be part of the family while they're with us giving you peace of mind that your fur baby is loved and well taken care of, just like we would want for ours.
