“I couldn’t have found someone better than Jordan. I am new to the city and I was leaving town for a few days. I had thought about daycare and I tried one day, but my dog didn’t really seem to like it much and the thought of having her there all day made me anxious because she wouldn’t be in the comfort of her own home. I decided to give Rover a shot and found Jordan. We did a meet and greet and he ended up staying for an hour playing with my dog and telling me a bit about himself. I could tell he is genuine and cares about helping people and loves animals. He took great care of pepita while I was gone and was able to relive me of the stress of leaving her with a stranger. I I will continue to use Jordan on a weekly basis just so Pepita can see her new friend.”

“Paige was great! We came to San Diego with our pups on a trip and wanted to spend extra time away from our airbnb. She gave them some company and let them out. She sent me pictures while she was there and made us feel comfortable being away from our babies longer. Thank you!!”

“I’ve had Jason drop in on my cat twice now, he’s very reliable and communicative. I get lots of pictures and confirmation that all of my cat’s needs(and wants!) are taken care of. My place is left in great shape and my cat is content. Thank you again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages before. Making sure to adjust to medications, meal, and walk times. I also have a dog as well who is very well taken care of at home! I’m currently working part time (very few hours) so I am available most of the week to play and walk your pups. My flexibility makes it easy to adjust to your dogs needs. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow their instructions, ensure their space is kept tidy, and of course keep their pets on their regular schedule.
About: I offer reliable, loving dog care with plenty of attention, playtime, and patience. I treat every dog like family and adapt to their energy level, routine, and personality so they feel safe and happy in my care. I carefully follow all owner instructions, including feeding, walks, medications, and special care needs. Whether your dog loves active play or just wants companionship and reassurance, I make sure they’re comfortable, well cared for, and given lots of affection while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a flexible schedule while working on building my own entrepreneurial business. That flexibility allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet and adapt to their routines, whether that means visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I’ve been pet sitting for years for family, friends, and acquaintances, and it’s always been one of my favorite side gigs because I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and getting to know their personalities. Since it’s something I’ve done and loved for a long time, I decided to start offering my services to more people in my local community. At this time, I’m only able to offer care in my client’s home, where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and adapt to their individual needs. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and routines, and I always make sure fresh water is available. I also provide playtime, affection, and companionship based on what each pet is comfortable with, whether they want lots of cuddles or a little extra personal space. I pay close attention to their behavior and physical condition so I can quickly notice if something seems off, helping ensure they stay safe, healthy, and happy while you’re away.

About: Ever since I was young, my love for animals has been unwavering, and that passion continues to define me as an adult. I've always been the go-to person among my family and friends whenever they needed a pet sitter or extra assistance. It wasn't until recently, when a friend referred me to Rover, that I decided to officially extend my help beyond my immediate circle. I do work a full time job, although I work remote and my job is very flexible I’m more focused on Rover on weekends, Friday through Sunday as of right now. I am able to host your pet. I live in a pet friendly apartment. I’m a homebody that enjoys time out in nature. Pet is able to roam comfortably in my home, but if you’d like to use a crate for training purposes that’s ok too.
About: I’ve lived on a farm since I was 11. I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies along with many other animals. I raised multiple litters of newborn puppies and their mothers. I’ve cared for them in many ways. I’ve also worked at a doggy day care and boarding facility and have experience with taking care of many dogs of different sizes and ages. I’m walking dogs and doing dog sitting as a side job now while I attend school. I assure you I have plenty of experience taking care of these wonderful fur babies. I’m currently going to school. I take night classes and need something that is flexible with my schedule. I already walk dogs and do dog sitting through another app called wag. It’s perfect for me cause I can focus on school without being worried about being tied down to a schedule since I’m able to make my own schedule. I also need more services so I thought doing 2 apps at a time might bring more income. I let them out every 2-4 hours to go potty or as needed or instructed my owner. I feed them based off their eating schedule and how many time a day they eat. I take them out for walks and to play with them outside frequently. If the parent need me to do anything else for their pups I’m more than happy to do so.
About: I have experience working at doggy day cares, pet resort and hospital and I most recently have worked with a small pet sitting business where I walked dogs, fed and checked in on all types of pets, administered medication, was a pet taxi, wedding dog attendant and even sold “barkcuterie” boards! I work for in special education at an elementary school and just got out for summer break. I have open availability throughout the week and weekends! I am a very respectful, clean and organized person. I take pride in my attention to detail when it comes to being attentive to your pet and strive to leave things as they were or in better condition than I found them!
About: I go beyond just basic pet sitting! With experience caring for puppies, senior pets, and animals with special needs, I tailor my approach to each pet’s unique personality. I have a 15-year-old dog and cat of my own, both in great health, so I know the extra attention seniors need to stay active and comfortable. Whether it's training, administering medication, or simply keeping them cozy, I make sure your pet feels loved, safe, and happy while you’re away! Pet care is a priority in my daily routine! I make sure to set aside time each day for feeding, playtime, and cleaning, with a flexible schedule to accommodate any specific needs your pet might have. Whether it's a daily walk, administering medication, or just spending quality time with your pet, I always ensure they get the attention they need, whenever it works best for you and them! Having pets of my own, I create a safe and comfortable environment where pets feel relaxed and secure. I pet-proof areas to prevent accidents, and I keep a clean, calm space where pets can play or nap as they like. For in-home care, I follow your pet’s routine to minimize stress, ensuring they’re fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention. I take extra precautions with any medications or special needs and provide regular updates to keep you informed. Whether it’s at your home or mine, I treat your pet like family, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and happiness.
About: I’ve boarded two dogs before at my own place and I have cat sat at a few owners houses before. I’m responsible and will communicate when I check in on your loved pets. As tax, I will always send a photo of your pet as well every time I check in on them and truly enjoy spending some playtime with them as well. I live by a little lake that’s great for walks too! I currently am flexible to make time to care for your furry family members. Happy to see photos and do a chat before deciding if this may be a good fit! I will make time and open for cuddles if you allow your pet bed/couch time. But if you don’t like that, I can reinforce it’s not okay while on you’re away. Thank you Rachel for taking care of pumpkin while I was away! Rachael provided plenty of pictures, a sweet little recap of their visit and tons of enrichment for my boy. I hate having to leave my animals when I travel but feel so much better knowing they’re being watched after by someone who truly cares for them like their own, and that is Rachel. 100% recommend

Monica was fantastic ! We didn’t have a chance to meet prior to her visit as I booked last minute . Everything went extremely smooth and my two cats were well cared for . I will be using her again for future trips and highly recommend . She sent daily pictures and notes on the visit . Thank you again Monica for taking care of my Fur Babies !

Brandee is the absolute best! She replied to my booking so fast. Eventhough she wasn't available for the entire booking, she actively searched for friends who could help. Other sitters just turned down the request, or didn't reply. We agreed on some days that would work. The request was to care for tiny, sick, shelter kittens. The job was not easy, it involved an application to the animal shelter, wearing full protective gear, coordinating with the foster coordinator, and then caring for sick kittens. She handled it like a pro! She found her way in and worked with the kittens and even sent pictures. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter!

Anjelica was great! I booked her last minute and she was super accommodating, setting up a meet and great quickly. She was very communicative, followed all guidelines and provided updates with lots of photos. I felt comfortable leaving my cat under her care while I was away and was able to enjoy my time knowing all was being taken care of back home. Thanks again! 🐈⬛

Rosa was fantastic with my dog and cat!! My dog isn’t the best with new people, but I appreciated her coming to do a meet and greet first. She was patient with him and built trust and he was super excited when she came to walk him! She did great and I appreciate her communication. She’s also super sweet in general and I will definitely book her again :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
