I work full time Tuesdays-Saturdays and am typically free after 3:30pm on most days and have full availability on most Sundays and Mondays. I am happy to try and work with my schedule to accommodate your pet's needs.

A typical day
My number one goal with while caring for your pet is their safety and wellbeing. As a professional in animal behavior and behavior enrichment, I always enjoy getting to know the individual animal's needs and catering to their preferences. I love taking dogs to the dog park, beach, hiking, on long walks around the neighborhood, or just hang out on the couch with the pupper or cat. If your animal knows any training or behaviors, I am happy to keep them mentally stimulated by running through their behaviors daily if requested.

Pet care experience
I have over 25 years of experience caring for pets and exotic wildlife both in human care and in the wild. I specialize in animal behavior and oversee behavioral enrichment programs in major zoological facilities. With my professional work, I am fluent in operant conditioning (training) by using positive reinforcement techniques. I am comfortable with senior and special needs dogs as well as puppies. I can administer medication, including injections, if needed.

I’ve had Jason drop in on my cat twice now, he’s very reliable and communicative. I get lots of pictures and confirmation that all of my cat’s needs(and wants!) are taken care of. My place is left in great shape and my cat is content. Thank you again!
Jason was absolutely fabulous!! He was available on short notice over a holiday and took incredible care of our pets while we were away. We truly appreciated how attentive Jason was, making sure our dog, Oko, had plenty of time dedicated to exercise, play, and cuddles. He also updated us with pics from every visit and provided a health update when he noticed something was out of the ordinary. I highly recommend Jason if you are looking for an experienced pet sitter who will genuinely care for your pets. We will definitely be booking with Jason again when we need a pet sitter.
