About: Lifelong family dog owner of both small dogs (dachshunds) and a large, high energy rescue mix. Former cat owner and long-time cat shelter volunteer & foster starting in high school and throughout college (@ Cal Poly Cat Shelter in SLO). I also have quite a bit of small animal experience with hamsters and fish of my own and having taken care of guinea pigs. I currently live with five Australian Shepherds, three of whom have puppies, so I understand firsthand what it takes to give each animal individual attention and love. “If you want someone who will look after your pets like they are her own children, look no further. Bonnie is the BEST. I hesitated to write this review because I don’t want her to get too busy for me but she is a rare find :) I have two cats that have stayed with Bonnie a couple times for longer stays (5+ days). My cats are very loving and pretty well behaved but they need quality people time and attention otherwise they will act out and misbehave. After time with Bonnie they are always in a great mood - no vacation transition grumpies. I can also see how happy and relaxed they are during their stay in the pics and videos that I receive. Bonnie - spends lots of quality time with your pets. She not only spends time with them but she interacts with them and caters to their individual personalities. - sends daily pictures, videos and updates. Updates are not generic - you can tell she paid attention to and engaged with your pets. - works with you and is a great communicator. Bonnie is flexible, proactive and quick to get back to you. About: I puppy-sit for my sister's 2yo maltipoo often, I've even helped training him and teaching him certain tricks. Meso on my profile is my sister's dog, I don't have a pet at the moment - I created his info under my account to help my sister when she needs a dog sitter. So my space is pet-free. I also used to have a dog when I was younger, I love dogs! I just came back from LA from helping puppy-sit for my sister's dog for 2 weeks. When I visit family in LA, I am often helping take care of her dog and I love it so much! I feed the pet based on the pet's schedule, provide any medication that may be needed, walk the dog at least once and certainly make sure cleaning up after the pet! Play time is also important, giving the pet treats that are vouched for by the owner. Also making sure emergency contacts and vet info is provided for emergency situations.

About: I had an English Setter Callie, and loved her as if she were my daughter. After she passed, it was not the same and I really missed her and the unconditional love and happiness she brought into my life. The past two years I've been house sitting for several people all over the United States, which began with an uber driver asking me if I'd look after his Belgian Malinois Berta while he went on a cruise. The experience was great and I realized how much I miss being around animals. I have done dozens of house sits since then, met amazing pets from dogs, cats, lizards, and frogs. I've met some great people in that time as well who I'd help in a heartbeat again should the need arise. On March 2, 2026 I found a chihuahua, Sweetie abandoned walking towards the road while I was house sitting for a customer. I saved her, she wasn't microchipped, no collar, nobody claimed her despite my listings. She is family now and an unbelievable gift in my life. She is 4 years old, very friendly with people, dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. Shes a total sweetheart and I bring her with me on sits, and have been impressed with how different pets interact with her and how they motivate and teach each other little things. I work remotely in financial services as a life insurance, mortgage protection broker. Plenty of schedule flexibility, I schedule all my own clients and appointments. I'm very health conscious and enjoy getting outside hiking, walking trails, or going to the gym to stay fit. Treat pets and homes as if they're your own. Leave things as found or better than when you arrived. I like to keep owners updated consistently usually every 2 or 3 days, with photos and an occasional video of something funny if you catch pets in the act.
