About: A hard worker who values responsibility, reliability, and trust. I'm new to Rover but passionate about dogs and committed to providing safe, loving, and attentive care for every pet as if they were my own. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and care in a safe environment. I'll follow your pet's routine, including feeding, walks (for dogs), fresh water, potty breaks, and any special instructions. You'll also receive regular updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'll carefully follow your care instructions, maintain your pet's routine, and provide plenty of attention and updates. Because I live on a military installation with restricted access, I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits rather than boarding at my home.

About: I have grown up my entire life with dogs. I have experience with taking care of a vast range of dogs from 5 pounds to 100. I believe every animal is special and should be treated as such! I have experienced my own dogs becoming seniors and passing so I empathize with how difficult taking care of them late in their life can be and can need special specific instructions such as administering medication, that I am more than happy to do. I have never owned a cat but a close friend of mine has one who I currently pet sit for. I have watched all types of dog and cat breed from the age of 15 til now. I work remotely and have the flexibility to prioritize your pet’s schedule. I am organized in my planning and will make sure your dog is never left home alone for more than a few hours I live in Coronado and can travel to your home as much as you need for walks/ check ins or happy to stay at your home when pet sitting is needed. I am organized and can follow strict routines or just hang out and play with your dog depending on personalities.

About: Hi, my name is Jenna! I have been providing paid pet sitting and dog walking services since I was about 13, caring for both dogs and cats through regular clients and referrals. My experience includes overnight stays, daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and administering medications for pets with extra care needs. Over the years, I have become very comfortable with a variety of temperaments, energy levels, and routines. I have a background in healthcare, which has made me especially attentive, reliable, and detail-oriented. I am comfortable following specific instructions, maintaining routines, and keeping a close eye on pets to make sure they are safe, happy, and well cared for. I recently relocated to the area and currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be dependable and available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and treat every animal as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your loved one(s) with paws! I have a flexible schedule while taking prerequisite courses for nursing school, allowing me to provide consistent, reliable pet care. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, and can easily adapt to each pet’s routine and needs. I am dependable with timing and routines, and make sure every pet gets the attention, care, and exercise they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and any specific preferences or needs. I am very attentive to safety, whether that’s securing doors and gates, using leashes properly, or monitoring behavior during walks and interactions. I also make sure your home is treated with respect and left exactly as I found it. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away, knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
“We are so fortunate to have found Crystal! Our puppy is so comfortable with her, and she requests info on his training so that she can support us in his learning. We’ve booked her many times, and she’s always reliable with clear communication. 10/10 recommend for puppy sitting!”

About: I have had all different breeds of dogs throughout my life. My parents bred French Bulldogs. I currently have a friendly 9 year old Golden Retriever that gets along well with other dogs. I work from home most days so I would love the opportunity to watch your fur baby while you are away. I have a house with a fenced backyard and cameras where the dogs can freely roam inside and outside during the day. My dog Bjorn likes to sunbath on the back deck. I would take great care of your dog for the day or overnight. I would feed them as instructed and ensure that there is always plenty of fresh water available. And give them treats when allowed unless there are dietary restrictions.
“Sarah was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Dexter! She was very attentive, kept us updated with amazing videos, and made sure Dexter had plenty of playtime and attention. It was clear she genuinely cared about him, and that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: Hi! I love dogs and spending time outside, so dog walking is the perfect combo for me. I’m easygoing, reliable, and comfortable with all kinds of dogs. I’ll make sure your dog gets good exercise, attention, and lots of love—and I’ll keep you updated along the way 😊 I’m available on Saturdays and Sundays to drop in or take your dog on walks. I follow your routine, use safe walking practices, and keep you updated so you can feel at ease.
“She has been absolutely amazing! When my husband and I need a dog walker in the future we will definitely be rebooking through her. Thoughtful and so great with Ziggy that my dog jumps for joy when she comes by to get her :)”

About: I have two dogs of my own, a Great Dane and a Poodle mix, so I know firsthand how nerve wracking it is to hand your dog off to someone you don't know. I get it! I'm not just a sitter, I'm a dog owner who actually understands what you're trusting someone with. And as a Great Dane owner, giant breeds and big personalities are my comfort zone. No size is going to phase me! I run my own creative business, so my schedule is genuinely flexible in a way that most sitters can't offer. No 9 to 5 I'm working around. I can typically accommodate drop ins and walks at times that actually work for you, not just whatever's left in my day. I'm the dog mom who leaves a five page document for my own sitters, so trust me, no request is too silly. Special feeding routine? Weird little habit your dog has that you think "how will I explain this to the dog sitter"? I want to know. I'll follow it. And I always send photo updates so you're not just sitting there wondering how your pup is doing.

About: Let me tell you about my girl, what she meant to me, and how I will treat your companions because they deserve the same. I adopted my rescue dog years ago, and she became my best friend, companion, protector, and family. We shared life together. She taught me that trust comes first, that every one is different, and that patience, consistency, attention, and presence matter. When I first adopted her, I was told she didn't like affection or being held. What I learned was that she simply needed trust. Once she felt safe, she showed me who she really was. That experience taught me to pay attention, be patient, and let each one get comfortable in their own time. I understand the importance of routine, exercise, play, companionship, quiet time, and consistency. I pay attention to personality, preferences, comfort level, and the small details that help someone feel secure while their family is away. My girl recently passed away. I will not be replacing her. Instead, I decided to come here and help care for your boy or girl because they deserve the same attention, patience, respect, and care that she received throughout her life. I provide dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, playtime, companionship, and routine care. I own and operate my own business and work remotely during the week, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be present throughout the day. I can adjust my work around the needs of those in my care. I also drive part-time on some weekend evenings and can adjust my schedule as needed. For house sitting, I typically spend 2–4 hours of dedicated time each day focused on walks, play, care, companionship, and routine activities, in addition to the time I am present in the home while working remotely. Depending on the arrangement, I may be away for periods during the day, but I remain available for check-ins, walks, feeding, and care. My goal is simple: to provide reliable care, maintain routines, and help your boy or girl feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you are away. I own and operate my own business and work remotely during the week, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the day. I can adjust my work as needed to make sure your companion receives the attention, care, walks, playtime, and companionship they need. I also drive part-time on some weekend evenings and can adjust my availability when caring for your boy or girl. For house sitting, I am generally available for short-term and extended stays ranging from a few days to four weeks. My only regularly scheduled personal commitment is on Tuesdays, though longer stays can be planned around that with advance notice. I care for companions in their own environment where they are most comfortable and familiar. I understand that trust, routine, consistency, and attention are important. I take the time to learn their schedule, habits, personality, comfort level, and any special needs so I can maintain the routines that help them feel secure. I believe trust is earned through patience, respect, and reliable care. Some want attention immediately. Others need time and space first. I pay attention to their behavior and let them get comfortable at their own pace while maintaining their wellbeing and routine.
“She is the best rover we’ve ever had. Extremely communicative, can problem solve, and genuinely seems to enjoy spending time with the animals. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have a cat of my own for three years now so I am very familiar with working with animals and caring for them. I am trying to get my foot in the animal industry so I thought this would be a good opportunity to learn more about animals and care for them. I currently have two dogs in one cats. I have a blue Doberman, Belgium, Melany, German👽 Shepherd mix and a long hair domestic cat. The dogs have had for about seven years now. And my cat. I’ve had for about three years, so I am very familiar with caring for animals, attending to their needs.
“Ramisha took excellent care of my two cats while I was away. Being my first time using Rover, I was a bit anxious but she was very sweet and responsive and my cats warmed up to her very quickly! I would definitely recommend her for any pet needs and will be rebooking her for future needs. :)”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Coronado
Chelsea was awesome taking care of my cat, she went above and beyond. She checked his water and food daily, ensured he got daily pets, snacks, and play. Throughout the visit Goose even began to seek pets and attention something he does not usually do. She even went so far as to check and change out his litter bag since it was getting full towards the end of my trip. I am really happy with the service she provided and will happily rebook with her if I need petsitting services.

Alexia is a literal godsend. Bentley is a particular senior dog, so I don’t trust him with just anyone. I left her a detailed care routine, and she followed it to a T. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well cared for. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Alena did a wonderful job all around walking and feeding my two pups while I was away overnight. She was kind, dependable, and responsive, sending me many adorable pictures from the walks. I could relax being away knowing my babies were in great hands. Look forward to having her her watch them again!

Our sitter did an amazing job caring for our pets. The flocked were clearly well taken care of, and Jerry looked very happy. Communication was great — they were very responsive and kept us updated the whole time, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away.

Irina went above and beyond for our kitty’s Bo & Petunia! She would send great updates & gave them lots of love & attention. She was even so kind to take care of other little things around our place & helped us to & from the airport! Highly, highly recommended her & we will definitely be using her services in the future as well!

Haley was the dream drop-in sitter for our two cats, while we were on a 3 week trip. She kept us informed of their moods and how happy they were to see her. She maintained the litter robot working great and took great care of our kitties. We will definitely use her services again. Thank you so much Haley!
Alexandra watched my dog Korra and did an absolutely outstanding job. From the moment they met, Alexandra’s professionalism and genuine compassion for animals were so easy to see. Korra is a rescue with anxiety, and being away from home — especially during work trips — can be really stressful for her. Alexandra handled this with incredible patience, taking the time to read Korra’s behavioral cues and adjust her approach accordingly. She truly went above and beyond to make sure Korra felt safe and comfortable. I couldn’t recommend her more highly and will absolutely be booking again.

I booked Aleksandra for two drop ins. Arranging key drop off was easy. She followed directions well and made sure my auto cat feeders and fountain were working. She also gave my clingy elderly cat a cuddle! She even got an action shot of my skittish young cat, I didn’t expect her to even see him lol. Would book again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
