About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was a child, and I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels for over 11 years. I was the proud owner of a special-needs senior dog who I cared for from the time I was 18 until he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge, so I understand the patience, dedication, and unconditional love our pets deserve. I also regularly dog sit and have experience walking large breeds, handling excited or strong dogs on leash, and staying calm in stressful situations. Safety is always my top priority, whether we’re out for a walk or relaxing at home. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family, making sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, routine, and personalized care. My goal is for both you and your pup to feel completely comfortable and confident while you’re apart. I’m currently in school, so I appreciate the flexibility that pet sitting provides. Outside of occasional Monday and Wednesday mornings, my schedule is very open, and I’m happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. If you’re located in the downtown area, I’m especially available for drop-in visits, walks, feedings, or last-minute check-ins. Caring for animals has been part of my daily routine for over 10 years, so fitting pet care into my schedule comes naturally. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine will always be my top priorities. I understand how important consistency is, so I’ll follow your care instructions closely—from feeding schedules and medications to walks, playtime, and bedtime routines. I pay close attention to each animal’s body language and behavior and can recognize when something seems off. I have experience caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and medical needs, and I remain calm in stressful situations. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keeping them safe, loved, entertained, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands.

About: I’ve cared for pets for the better part of a decade, including my own 6 year old Australian Shepherd. Growing up I worked on a farm so I learned to be patient and tolerate all behaviors displayed by domesticated and non-domesticated animals. I currently work from 7am-3pm. As soon as I get home I walk my dog. At which point, part of our walk can be taking care of your pet in any capacity as we enjoy our time outside. He will not enter any residence and will remain outside until your pet is cared for. He’s great with all animals and if you’re comfortable with your pet meeting him, he will be happy to be their buddy. Living downtown, I have plenty of amazing parks and walkable areas I can take your dog. If you would like your cat walked that’s pretty cool too and I can provide the same resources in a manner that’s more suitable for cats.

About: I have experience walking, feeding, and caring for dogs, cats, and even quails! I want to help your pet get the exercise, food, water, and relief they need! Just let me know :) I am available until the sun goes down most days. If anything changes, I'll be sure to let you know ahead of time. Thanks! I have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of space to roll around, explore, sunbathe, or sit in the shade under a palm tree with a fan.

About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog (does not live with me). I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

About: I have had pets my entire life and grew up caring for both cats and dogs. I have experience with larger breeds, including German Shepherds and Dobermans, both of which were rescued from shelters. Caring for rescue dogs taught me patience, consistency, and how to help pets feel safe and comfortable in new environments. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like family. I understand that each animal has their own personality, routines, and comfort levels, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m comfortable with active dogs, maintaining feeding and walking schedules, administering basic care, and giving pets the attention they need. I am also comfortable administering oral medication to both cats and dogs. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. I work as a researcher with a flexible schedule, which allows me to adjust my time as needed for pet visits, walks, and check-ins. I’m also available on weekends, which gives me additional flexibility for longer stays or more frequent care when needed. I’m able to plan ahead and stay consistent with feeding times, walks, and any special care instructions, making sure pets get reliable attention throughout the day or week. I provide pet care in a safe and calm environment, and I always prioritize each pet’s comfort and well-being. In my home, I live in an apartment with access to a dog park and I’m also close to other parks nearby, which allows for regular exercise and outdoor time when caring for dogs. I do not currently own any other pets, so animals in my care will not be exposed to other animals in the home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and maintain their normal routines to help them feel secure and comfortable in their own space.

About: Let me tell you about my girl, what she meant to me, and how I will treat your companions because they deserve the same. I adopted my rescue dog years ago, and she became my best friend, companion, protector, and family. We shared life together. She taught me that trust comes first, that every one is different, and that patience, consistency, attention, and presence matter. When I first adopted her, I was told she didn't like affection or being held. What I learned was that she simply needed trust. Once she felt safe, she showed me who she really was. That experience taught me to pay attention, be patient, and let each one get comfortable in their own time. I pay attention to personality, preferences, comfort level, and the small details that help someone feel secure while their family is away. My girl recently passed away. I will not be replacing her. Instead, I decided to come here and help care for your boy or girl because they deserve the same attention, patience, respect, and care that she received throughout her life. I provide dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, playtime, companionship, and routine care. I own and operate my own business and work remotely during the week, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be present throughout the day. I can adjust my work around the needs of those in my care. I also drive part-time on some weekend evenings and can adjust my schedule as needed. For house sitting, I typically spend 2–4 hours of dedicated time each day focused on walks, play, care, companionship, and routine activities, in addition to the time I am present in the home while working remotely. Depending on the arrangement, I may be away for periods during the day, but I remain available for check-ins, walks, feeding, and care. My goal is simple: to provide reliable care, maintain routines, and help your boy or girl feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you are away. I own and operate my own business and work remotely during the week, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the day. I can adjust my work as needed to make sure your companion receives the attention, care, walks, playtime, and companionship they need. I also drive part-time on some weekend evenings and can adjust my availability when caring for your boy or girl. For house sitting, I am generally available for short-term and extended stays ranging from a few days to four weeks. My only regularly scheduled personal commitment is on Tuesdays, though longer stays can be planned around that with advance notice. I care for companions in their own environment where they are most comfortable and familiar. I understand that trust, routine, consistency, and attention are important. I take the time to learn their schedule, habits, personality, comfort level, and any special needs so I can maintain the routines that help them feel secure. I believe trust is earned through patience, respect, and reliable care. Some want attention immediately. Others need time and space first. I pay attention to their behavior and let them get comfortable at their own pace while maintaining their wellbeing and routine.

About: Hi there! I’m new to pet sitting on Rover, but I’ve been a lifelong dog lover! I’ve had my own Pomeranian names Simba for 10 years, so I know how special our furry friends are. Right now, I’m looking for a job, so I have lots of free time to give your pup the attention they deserve! I offer dog walking and daytime at-home sitting in Downtown and nearby areas, so your dog will have a buddy all day. I’m excited to meet your pup and keep them safe, happy, and active! Requested information about your pet I just ask to let me know in advance what NOT to do/say with your pet. For example, my Pomeranian gets crazy zoomies if you say ‘who’s there?’, he rushes to my front door, spins and bark and it till he will not get absolutely tired. I would also like to know all important details about your pet friendliness with other animals and humans, their health and of course your preferred Pet Hospital. I’m currently actively looking for a remote job in Tech so I have all the time in the world to spend quality time with you fluffy friend. As I have my own pup waiting for me at home, I am looking for more standard working hours I’m not able to host pets at my home, but I’m more than happy to stay at your place for multiple hours during the day. I’ll follow all your pet’s routines, instructions, and any safety measures you have in place. Just let me know your preferences, and I’ll make sure I follow them closely!
