About: I recently moved here from Utah, where I volunteered at Best Friend’s Animal Society. This gave me experience in handling dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also received training on several different dog handling related topics, including recognizing when dogs are stressed and what they need in those situations. I completed the training and competencies for both beginner and intermediate level dogs at Best Friend’s. I am an absolute dog lover at heart, from a very young age. Apart from volunteering at Best Friend’s, I would also regularly dog sit for different friends and co-workers. I currently work full time as a RN, but my 12 hour shifts give me flexibility to care for pets on my days off during the week and on weekends. I certainly recognize that pets are a part of the family, and promise to treat your dogs as if they were my own. I know that it is not easy to trust a stranger to care for your pets, and I do not take that lightly.

I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for years. I've been growing up with dogs and cats since I was a child. It's so fun to spend time with them. I love pets ! Things happen, work happens, life happens and I understand completely! If you're going on vacation, enjoy it! You can trust your pet is safe in my care. I'll send you multiple updates throughout the day. My house has a garden and the dogs can use the garden whenever they want. :) I deep clean my condo after every dog stay. I wash toys, bedding and bowls frequently. I do not leave anything on counters or floors that can be accessed easily. I’m extremely cautious in all that I do.

About: Dog owner I have a 7 year old dog that gets along with other dogs. Also 2 young kids so pup has to be good with kids. I am home so will be able to walk and feed dogs as frequently as necessary. I typically walk my dog 1x / day . I walk and feed the pets and the kids like to interact with the dogs too. We have a fenced in backyard that dogs love to play in.

Why this is a big deal: Nippy is very particular on how he drinks water (needs a fountain) so the fact that she took the time to do that for him, while I was out of town and couldn’t help, meant everything!”

About: My name is Christina and would love to help take care of your dog. I have summer breaks and work earlier in the day. I love dogs and have taken care of dogs and pups for years. In addition, I have my own dogs and I absolutely love them, their names are Elsa (8) and Rubble (6). Both of our dogs are rescues. I love animals and grew up with animals taking care of them and taking long walks. If you are on vacation, I am someone you can rely on and will send pictures or any updates needed during the day. During the year, I do work full time but can walk dogs during the evening. My cellphone is the best way to reach me and ask for availability over the summer (call or text). Please do not hesitate to ask if there is anything you need or have questions about the rates I have provided. During my usual work week I get up pretty early around 5:30am at the latest, and then get out of work at 3:30pm-4:30pm. The weekends I am pretty flexible on times I can come in to help with dog sitting and/or dog walking. Over the summer I have the most time to dedicate to help care for your pup, longer walks, and I can focus more on training. I have a backyard and plenty of treats, leashes, etc. Since I am a dog owner myself I also have an extra crate if needed. In my own home, my pets sleep in our bed and both of our dogs have gone through dog training, so they know basic commands such as sit, down, high five, touch, and leave it just to name a few. I understand that everyone's family is different and I respect that. Any rules you have implemented for your own pups or medication you need given I will help out with that and make sure the dog has the best care. I understand especially with feeding schedules and medication piece because our youngest pup recently went through heartworm treatments (and now heartworm neg thank goodness!). I feel like our dogs are my family members and will make sure they have the best love and care. There is nothing like the unconditional love of a dog!
