“We have a very shy, high anxiety cat who typically hides from all our guests. But she must have sensed how amazing Chunli is because she warmed up to her right away! Chunli checked in on our cat while we were out of town for a week. She was very attentive and gave prompt updates on our poor anxious cat who threw up multiple hairballs while we were gone, likely due to stress. She cleaned up my cat’s extra messes and kept a close eye. I felt at total ease with Chunli looking after her. She saw that my cat’s playful behavior and appetite were otherwise normal and knew what to look out for. Our cat was so happy with Chunli that she even rolled over and showed her belly! Furthermore, we unexpectedly had to stay an extra night out of town and Chunli was graciously accommodating and agreed right away to watch our cat an extra day. I highly recommend her as a sitter. 10/10!”

About: I've taken care of aggressive dogs, dogs with special medical needs, and everything in between. I am reliable, communicative, and I love being with animals. As a teacher, I get summer vacations, so I have a free schedule to devote to petsitting. I'm available on weekdays and weekends, for short or long periods. I have experience taking care older dogs, and I'm also comfortable around dogs with behavioral problems. In every case, I'm attentive to the animal's needs.
About: Hi! My name is Jordan, and I’m a 24-year-old active-duty service member with a lifelong passion for animals. My military background has taught me the importance of attention to detail, reliability, accountability, and clear communication—qualities I bring to every pet I care for. Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. At 15 years old, I got my first German Shepherd and worked my first job to support and care for him on my own. He lived a happy, healthy, spoiled life and remained my best friend until he passed at 10 years old. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and energy levels, including Cane Corsos, Chihuahuas, Beagles, and many mixed breeds. I also have experience caring for small animals and reptiles, including rats, mice, snakes, and bearded dragons. Today, my husband and I share our home with two energetic Australian Cattle Dogs who are truly part of our family. They are spoiled with daily exercise, mental enrichment, adventures, healthy nutrition, training, treats, and plenty of love and attention. Caring for them has given me extensive experience managing high-energy dogs and understanding the importance of both physical activity and mental stimulation. When your pet is in my care, you can expect frequent updates, honest communication, and the peace of mind that they will be treated as if they were my own. I understand that trusting someone with your animal is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, structured care, or simply a dependable person to keep them company, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and positive experience. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work full-time, but I am available every evening after 5:00 PM for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, medication administration, and quality time with your pet. As an active person, I enjoy getting outside for walks and making sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, and attention they need. Most weekends, I have greater flexibility and am available for walks, drop-in visits, and extended check-ins. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I strive to maintain their normal routines and provide dependable care while you’re away. You can expect clear communication, reliability, and attention to detail during every visit. I will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. At this time, I am not offering boarding services and focus exclusively on walks and in-home visits. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. My goal is to provide dependable, professional care that gives you peace of mind while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. During each visit, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication administration, and any special instructions. As a military medic with 7 years of experience, I am highly attentive to detail and understand the importance of following directions exactly as provided. Safety is always my top priority. I carefully secure doors, gates, and leashes, monitor your pet’s behavior and well-being, and maintain a clean and respectful environment in your home. I treat your property with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. You can also expect honest, reliable, and frequent communication. I provide updates and photos during visits so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, senior and relaxed, or requires extra medical attention, I am committed to providing compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. My goal is simple: to ensure your pet feels comfortable and cared for, and that you return home knowing they were treated like family.

“When my husband and I brought home our puppy, Bridget, our biggest concern was how she would be cared for while we’re at work. Alice and Trey alleviated any worries and then some! They are communicative, attentive, and treat Bridget like one of their own. I can go to work with total confidence and peace of mind that she is well cared for and enjoying fresh air, exercise, and socialization. They have been nothing short of a blessing for us as our pup grows!”

About: Hi I’m Rachel! You can feel at ease knowing that I am pampering your fur-baby to their hearts content. I have cared for animals my entire life, from horses to birds to puppies. I love to keep the pups mentally and physically stimulated whether it be food puzzles or beach days at fiesta island. I have attended dog training classes with my own dogs in the past, so I will apply what I have learned as I care for yours if you would like me to. I work from home, so the dog-walking breaks are just as refreshing for me as they are for your pup! Plus my schedule is very flexible. I have a Pomsky named Mochi who is a little over two years old. He is incredibly social, so if your dog is social as well it’s a great way for them both to burn some energy! I won’t introduce them unless you specifically ask me to though. Feel free to ask me any additional questions :)
“Cary is a wonderful caring petsitter. She was just the right person to stay with our shy, quirky, older Bernese Mountain Dog. She understood that our girl is shy and needed to make the first moves to become friends, which Cary understood and they became good friends. Communication was great, lots of cute pics from walks and chilling out. 100% happy, 100% would use her again. Highly recommend her!”

About: I have special skills in senior care and animals who need special care post surgery. I have about 3 dogs and 1 cat who are all seniors. The first dog I adopted millie was on the older side and as the years gone by I have learned and educated myself on how to properly care for senior dogs, and the most important thing I have learned is patience is key. My oldest dog millie also had multiple surgeries due to cancerous tumor that spread. Thankfully she is fine but after many surgeries I have learned the skills on how to properly take care of dogs post surgery. I also have lots of experience with kittens from my time volunteer at a feline rescue. I am a UCLA student who does this work during my summer break. I am available from beginning of june-end of september. I will also be working a job that are about 5.30 hours each shift 4 days a week. Depending on exactly what day of the week you need I can work around your schedule. My other summer job is very flexible however my shifts are usually at night. Depending on what you need I can be very flexible so we can also talk more in detail. I do not offer services for pets to stay at my home however I do travel to my clients homes. When taking care of my clients pets I make sure to prioritize safety, routine, be attentive, and cleanliness. I also make sure that all animals receive their walks and all physical activity required.
About: Hi! I’m Alexa and I am from San Diego, California. While growing up, I walked to school and stopping along the way to pet each and every dog we spotted. Eventually my family adopted one of our own, Marley, and from there on out she walked to school with us every day. My love for dogs only grew from there. I would pet sit my neighbors dog when needed (vacation, late from work, etc). Their dog loved to walk but had a hip problem so we had to make his walks shorter and have him wear doggie booties. I also volunteered at Helen Woodward Animal Shelter for a number of years. I’ve been taking care of pets since high school, throughout undergrad and currently while in graduate school! Since I don’t have the time for a pet of my own, I’m more than happy to help out with yours :) Currently in my first doctorate of physical therapy clinical rotation. So I work 4 x 10’s, have Tuesdays and weekends off, would love to help out! I have ample experience cat/dog sitting, and walking or running with dogs! It’s been great taking care of others pets, the best boost to my mood during a hard grad school program

North City pet parents share their Rover experiences
It was my first time hiring a cat sitter through Rover app, so I was pretty nervous at first. Devon made the whole experience so much easier with great communication, reliable care and regular photo updates of my cats. Thanks to her again for taking such a wonderful care of Jelly.

Ari is EXCEPTIONAL!!! We have a VERY uncomfortable 11 yr old pup and do not ever leave her alone. She warmed up to Ari extremely fast. Her communication was excellent. You can instantly tell her love for pups (animals) Couldn’t be happier finding her on this App. We will absolutely be using her in the future and are thrilled with the peace of mind knowing our pup is in incredible hands ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am so grateful to have found Nataliya. I have a large, anxious dog that requires someone who is patient and willing to put in the extra effort to make him feel comfortable. Nataliya is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and even helped me with some training guidance. I will definitely be a repeat client, highly recommend!

Hanna is our go to for drop-in’s for our kitty while on vacation. Our cat instantly snuggles up with Hanna — she has a special way with pets! She’s very responsible and goes above and beyond to keep a watchful eye for anything related to your pet’s wellness!

Cary is a wonderful caring petsitter. Highly recommend her!
